Ever since I left for Santa Cruz, I've been feeling disconnected from all my burner lovelies. I've even been feeling disconnected from my art (staff), which made the gap seem that much wider.
But then I went to Carla's on Easter, and it was such a relief to just hang out with everyone casually instead of fluttering around casually like I do at parties. I don't remember what led to Carla saying this, but she said,
"yeah, it's hard going away and not seeing everyone, you feel like you don't belong anymore. But then you come back, you have a great time, and you realize everyone still loves you."
And I just felt at home again.

Carla is someone that I know that I can always talk to.
I love this girl with every breath I have.
This past year in getting to know another has been so wonderful and I look forward to many more years to come!

Carla is the worlds most beautiful pit bull.
She is the one to have around when you need to
be sure something gets done right. But while it's
getting done, she's also having fun and making
everyone else around her laugh.
She's tough on the outside, but a big softy
on the inside. The loyalty runs deep inside her
and I could totally see being friends with her for
life. She's that kind of person......the best kind.

Very true... Like other people have been saying, just keep your eyes out, as it gets closer to the event, there will likely be a few tickets for sale from people who have other things come up.

So I've got this nook seat (see picture) that used to be in my house and is now sitting in my backyard and needs a good home... someone suggested to me that it might be neat for an art car or something. :) Or whatever else you could think of to use it for.
