I'm here in albany w/ my mom trying to build a better relationship and save $ to move across country and so far today she hasnt said happy b-day. I know Its not a big deal but I just can't help but be a little disapointed. I guess its just time to grow up I'll be seeing my dad soon no use crying right????

toronto convention

I recently went to the big A.A. convention in toronto w/ my mother. I my self am not an alcohlic I went to suport my mom. Who has recently started drinking again. There were 60,000 people there. It was rather amazing. No one there judged or critizied anyone else. From the guy with 63 years sober to the girl with 3 days! I could not believe te love these people had for eachother. I have gone to A.A. meetings w/ my mom my whole life and up until this trip I tought it was stupid. Basicly what I think I'm trying to say is that if anyone out there has a dinking problem A.A. is a great place. The people i met were so wonderful!
