Carlos and I met atop an Art Car at Burning Man 03. I couldn't stop staring at him, convinced that he was Orlando Bloom in the flesh. And BOY do I have a thing for Orlando Bloom! My next encounter with Carlos was a few days later, also at BM, in the Ramayana procession. Then a few weeks later at a Dream Circus party that I happened to be in town for. Then at JD's house in San Francisco over New Year's! We gotta stop meeting like this. Obviously he knows all the right people, i.e. those that I adore and cherish the most in my life, therefore, although I don't know him too well yet, I consider him a good friend.

Charlie, Carlos, Hunky, Goofy, Fun, Imaginative and a great friend. Lots of memories and more to come.

Almost ten years now.....
Watching you grow has been a pleasure...
Knowing you an even greater pleasure...
and still kickin it with you a joy...
Seeing you reminds me of a simpler time,
it reminds me that life is more than physical manifestations.
