Carlos and I met atop an Art Car at Burning Man 03. I couldn't stop staring at him, convinced that he was Orlando Bloom in the flesh. And BOY do I have a thing for Orlando Bloom! My next encounter with Carlos was a few days later, also at BM, in the Ramayana procession. Then a few weeks later at a Dream Circus party that I happened to be in town for. Then at JD's house in San Francisco over New Year's! We gotta stop meeting like this. Obviously he knows all the right people, i.e. those that I adore and cherish the most in my life, therefore, although I don't know him too well yet, I consider him a good friend.

Almost ten years now.....
Watching you grow has been a pleasure... Knowing you an even greater pleasure... and still kickin it with you a joy... Seeing you reminds me of a simpler time, it reminds me that life is more than physical manifestations. Thank you for the time. Love Dee March 30, 2004
i love this guy
rarely see him but it's always a treat like the time he proved the existence of telepathy with a hip hop experiment or when he did the fair yoric monologue to a ripe avocado (that actually never happened, but i'd love to see it) or how about being the ONLY guy in R2k3 who spoke his own dialogue? that's bad ass if you ask me... why do we write these things? so strangers can know our friends better? or so our friends feel the love? why not just write directly to our friends? ... ...nah...this is cool...positive graffiti...public love notes...a new medium... anyway, "this guy" (meaning you, hombre) rocks.
