about me
I graduated with degrees in art and philosophy. Now I study with a curandero in the amazon rainforest of peru. We drink ayahuasca in healing ceremonies twice a week. I run a program called the Ayahuayra Project, which seeks to continue the lineage of plant spirit medicine and to preserve the wisdom of the indigenous cultures of South America.

what's happening...

This event is an amazing opportunity to learn directly from authentic Peruvian shamans in the Amazon Rainforest. The Curandero Seminar takes place from April 18th to the 26th outside of Iquitos, Peru and features five healers from various locations coming together to give presentations, lead workshops, and hold traditional ayahuasca healing ceremonies. Learn the basic principles of plant spirit medicine from the maestros who are continuing a heritage of sacred wisdom that has been practiced... read more

What an amazing six weeks! It is such an honor to get to lead such a wonderful program. The students went through such profound transformations and are now on true paths to becoming healers. I learned so much as well, and came into my own role as a healer. At the end of the course, the students and I made our own ayahuasca and held our own ceremony, where I lead for the most part, allowing the students more freedom to explore their own healing styles. It was a fantastic ceremony, and the... read more

Regardless of who is reading the lines on TV for us as the next president, it is clear that more change must take place. We must find the will to rise to the surface of this boiling cauldron. It appears to be chaos, as we reach 100 degrees (C), but it is part of the process of changing phases. Soon, the water on the surface will vaporize, retaining its identity and structure, ... read more

I now live full time in the Amazon Rainforest of Peru. I currently study with a curandera named dona Othelia, although don Juan will always be my maestro and great friend. I also work with several other curanderos, running educational retreats through www.windspiritcenter.com and the Ayahuasca Curandero Seminar (curanderoseminar.com)
My latest endeavor is the Ayahuasca Foundation, which is a non-profit organization that seeks to help curanderos find gringo students and patients, and help ... read more

I just returned from my fifth trip to Peru. I have been working with and studying under a curandero named Don Juan. We live in Iquitos, Peru, the jungle city in the Amazon Rainforest. We have two camps out in the forest where we hold healing retreats, educational programs, and research projects.
We work with ayahuasca, holding ceremonies twice a week. If you don't know ayahuasca, then you should, for it is the most remarkable ancient medicine I've ever known. It is a key to unlock th... read more
