I recently heard about this site and the story of Saoirse's pilgrimage, and as a Burning Man participant, these ideas really resonated with me. So I'm doing my part to pass it forward and share these visions to inspire us all, to help each other and create thriving new communities for greater good, in 2008...

"Saoirse is setting off on January 30th, 2008, from the UK to walk 12,000 kms to India. He will take only a change of clothes and a couple of books. With no money and only relying on the kindness of fellow man to feed him and give him a bed for the night he is showing us all that we can learn to trust in one another again. When he returns (in a couple of years time) his goal is to set up a moneyless community where all are welcome.

How many of us crave like-minded friends and yearn for our 'tribe'? Now you have the opportunity to do something about that with the Freeconomy community.
