I was born in San José, Costa Rica, and I've been living here my whole life... As a latin, rythm and love for the music is something you have in your blood. I started dancing when i was 3, but got into formal dance education until i turned 16.. So i got into ballet, hip-hop, breakdance and finally i tried a little bellydance which became my favorite hobbie, and then my everyday work!!
Shortly after starting with bellydancing, i got into tribal fusion... and NEVER CAME BACK!!! jeje Well, as any tribal dancer knows, tribal fusion involves so many disciplines that as a coreographer, turns out to be great! I got, for the first time in my life, the chance to really use everything i have! So, all the moves and techniques i've learned through my life came out with this dancing style.
Everyday it's a journey for me... I never get tired of learning from other dancers, my students and most importantly... i never get tired of learning from me, 'cause if you really pay attention to yourself, you can be surprised in many ways..!!
