My Testimonials

March 8, 2009
Testimonials are supposed to be third person.
I'm a Contrarian.

Thank you for our talk on the phone yesterday!

It's rare to connect.
Online. In life. At all.
I still think you are a bit off, but I spent the bulk of the morning talking to family, and aside from my Daughter, I judge you SANE!

Thank you for trusting me. Sharing.

If you ever feel alone, isolated, or questioning your place here in this thing called life...just look at the amazing Testimonials you have and then multiply by a Thousand the lives you have touched and don't even know it.

My Tribe Buddy, John is the strongest man I've never met. But I think we know just how the other feels. Some days, honestly, he's my rock. I think of him and everything he's gone through and I feel humbled and very thankful that such a kind soul, this great-hearted man walks the very same earth as I do, and sometimes - walks with me.

I love John because he is a good man. He has a great heart. He feels like an old soul to me (this is a very, very good thing). We haven't met, though when we correspond I feel connected to him. I feel good knowing that he's in the world.

Especially For You!.........From bard
There is a carpenter I know
He is not a Karen or a Richard
He doesn't have the flair for music
Only what he makes of his own
A very sensitive person
That I would love to meet
He is happy, he is sad
But is that really so bad
Honesty, he tells it like it is
I have no qualms with this
I love his clear cut look at life
He leaves nothing to the imagination
He is Friend, Family
He is larger than life
I am proud to say that I know him
But never hate who you are
People like you are too few

I have to say, aside from being one hell of a pig <eg> John is one of the kindest, most considerate, and helpful individuals I know of. He's been very helpful to me in my battle with HIV, despite his own problems, and for that I am truly grateful. He shares his knowledge, and helps with things of which I am unaware. I can always ask him a question, knowing he's there to answer it, and answer it well, as he is well versed on the subject. John, you ROCK! I mean that from the heart, too. Thank you for being my friend!
August 2, 2006
John's brain gives me a woodie.
July 30, 2006
This is my first ever testimonial! I couldn't think of a better person to give it to!

I met John just a short time ago, two weeks in fact, but his mind and genuine GOOD nature attracted me immediately. I was in the middle of a small crisis myself when I met him, not the place here to explain, but He made me forget what was going on in my head. For that, I have no words adaquate enough to explain my endearment to him. It seems that we go through life, not really expecting too much, and then you get the unexpected. In this case, the unexpected is truly wonderful and accepted whole heartily! As I go through the rest of my life, my hope would be that John will be in it!

To you, my dear friend ..... and MORE!

Richard

But the noises have basically stopped which is a good thing.

There is a “nothingness” about it however.

Folks on very high doses of anti-psychotics complain about becoming “disconnected” from the real world.

I agree.

I feel the “nothingness” as well.

As one’s symptoms pass, so does one’s ability to experience anything.

Maybe bad days are a “good” thing ... read more

In number theory, a partition of a positive integer n is a way of writing n as a sum of positive integers. Two sums that differ only in the order of their summands are considered to be the same partition; if order matters then the sum becomes a composition. A summand in a partition is also called a part. The number of partitions of n is given by the partition function p(n).

Examples

The partitions of 4 are listed below:

1. 4
2. 3 + 1
3. 2 + 2
4. 2 + 1 + 1
5. 1 + 1 + 1 + 1

Ramanujan independently discovered results of Gauss, Kummer and others on hypergeometric series. Ramanujan's own work on partial sums and products of hypergeometric series have led to major development in the topic. His most famous work was on the number p(n) of partitions of an integer n into summands.

Srinivasa Ramanujan was a mathematician par excellence. He is widely believed to be the greatest mathematician of the 20th Century. Srini... read more

Curiously enough, I can’t sleep.

Our brains are very complex electro-chemical systems.

Start messing with the neuro-transmitters on such a grand scale and things get out of kilter rather quickly.

Yes the Dementors are gone for the time being, but once I start trending into my manic phase they go away naturally all by themselves.

I am going back down to 600mg’s for now; 1,000... read more

Saffron Indian Restaurant, Middletown, NY
( local favorites » restaurants ) "Good eats in Middletown, NY" I love Indian cuisine and this place is great.

I cook Indian at home but no one but I eat it.

I’m so glad Bob likes it as well. Just not too spicy for him.

They are a bit expensive and they do do take away.

It is worth it.
