about me
I grew up in/around the Austin, Texas area and had never, until 2006, ever moved further than a few hours away from home. I am a Texanne through and through with a great love for my homestate.
I currently live in Wichita, Ks with my boyfriend, who travels due to work. Today he's in Oklahoma, tommorrow Nebraska and after that? Who knows!
I have a son who's currently 10 years old and avidly following in the family's footsteps by being a voracious reader.
Between myself and my boyfriend we have: 2 cats (Richard Feces Cranium and Shane O'Kitty), 2 Dauchshunds (Pancho Villa/Toady and Scarlett Bella/Slug), 1 bird (Parakeet named Tyler) and 6 horses (a Peruvian Paso named Rio, a Arabian named Socks and 4 Paso Finos named Strider, Sailor, Cocoa and Amigo).

The past few weeks included a sickness which caused violent vomiting and...well..suffice to say NOTHING remained in my body for about 3 days. The upswing? I lost about 10 lbs. The double upswing is that about 7 of it has remained off.

I don't pick up the moves as quickly as the others do. I'm not as graceful as they are. I'm, well, let's face it, I put the "belly" in "bellydance", and I'm just awkward.

I did stay in yesterday, but today I HAD to get out. I don't like it. The road I have to drive down to get to the horses is a dirt road, and it was mostly ice and snow. I mostly parked Rabbit IN the road (my tires stink), put on my emergencies, and fed the horses. Took Rio's blanket off and that was that.
