cheezits and watermelon: summer diets
Sun, July 13, 2008 - 9:30 AMThe explosion of toys slowly got organized, very few toys harmed in the process.
My desk and closet and files!! finally!!! got the once over! they need this about three more times as i find it so hard to throw reference materials away. It's all about the brain and chemicals, baby!
Working on the big canvases now. Haven't worked on pieces this big for two years.
Lil girl got a nanny after we went to dr. larry jebrock to add in EFT (Gary Craig) to the visual perception therapy that had stalled... needed help with the emotional blockage, needed some heavy duty judgement release and am pleased to report that EFT does truly help release those blocks. The flow of grace astonishes. Her tutor is my nephew. He brought his two guitars. YAY!!
You know that I had to release before anyone else could possible move a single bit of anything. Certainly.
Anyway, have given some thought space to the concept of no effort.
No effort actually facilitates high production. Some folks call it being in the zone. The polar opposite (isn't that a redundancy?) is "problem-solving" which actually isn't, it means gear grinding...like intense worry which really involves a lot of effort, resistance and burns all the vitamins in yer body up. Oh yeah! the other word for it is "stress."
The stress that bothers me most is failing. failure of the stress. the stress is failing, perhaps it wants to die. i can allow stress to die.
I find myself painting boots. boots kicking. shoes. shoes walking. I found myself...
"I find myself..." to say this about practically any other activity other than painting or dancing or playing improv jazz implies an incredible amount of unconsciousness... the consciousness of artists tends to be in the direction of paraconscious. Kinda wierd to run a household paraconsciously. I hit a big ol block of resistance in the hoosband, who cannot plumb nor electricate in an altered state like that. (Get thee to work, Man!, quit hanging around messin with my vibes)
The small girl child on the other hand, is trying to get us to go camping somewhere where every lil thing you hang onto in yer mind gets manifested. I mean, just so's ya knows what yer thinking. we actually don't think much 'round here; we're all feelers by and large, but I use the word as it is culturally accepted (a whole lot of people prolly don't think: our legislatures for instance).

glad to hear from you. sounds like things are settling down. go camping. just don't think about it. zone out, instead of in. nature works like that for me, as i lose myself in detail of leaf and rock and snake.
