I come from a strict Puerto Rican family.My parents were born and raised in Puerto Rico. I was raised with the history and culture of Puerto Rico. Love the dances that come from there. Love the music. I have only visited there 3 times in my lifetime. My parents were in the army. I have lived in 6 different states, i was born in Germany. I have 2 younger sisters. I Love dancing. I grew up listening to old school salsa and my mother taught to dance it as well as other spanish dances. I have lived in Deltona, Fl for about 8 yrs. When i moved here, i joined a spanish folklore dance group at my high school and absolutely loved it. I got to perform in different festivals and parades in Deltona and Orlando and we actually got to go to Jacksonville and perform in a major parade there. I came across Shakira's performance of "Ojos Asi" and did the dance at a hispanic festival and from there I wanted to learn more of bellydancing and become better at. Its an awesome dance, very soothing, relaxing, fun and sexy.
