So we are in a clean slate situation here. I tried for a couple of weeks, but no hoop because I am !!STILL!! waiting for it to be delivered. <Nother rant altogether> So after the BD workshop-which was fab!! I got very discouraged and hormonal and spent several days eating EVERYTHING in sight. Two weeks virtually without sugar and boy-howdy an ice cream cone will make you giddy! So I am exactly where I started. I am calling this a do-over and giving myself the gift of the past three week...

The weekend went okay. I was a bit worried, because I spent it with my folks. Now don’t misunderstand, I love them dearly and enjoy spending time with them. It’s just that food (and the sharing of) is a social activity for them. They are both heavy, especially my mom. I got my bad genes and some very bad habits from her. Of course, she also gave me the girls, so not all is sad in the land of the gene pool.

Okay-so here goes. I am tired of living in this body. I mean, I have never felt satisfied inside my skin-except for a brief period a couple of years ago when I lost some weight for a class reunion. When I was young and thinish and curvy, all I could see was the bump here or the jiggle there. Now I could kick myself for not enjoying who I was.
