it is with a heavy heart that we inform you all that Jim Jones has passed away. Jim was our colleauge, our collaborator, our bandmate and our friend.

Jim had suffered through numerous health problems over the past decade or so - but all things considered - seemed to be doing okay. Thanks to his unuasual schedule (basically sleeping all day and staying up all night) we haven't gotten to see him very much recently.
