about me
I want to go back to school for a degree in physics but not sure I want to do the masters part of it to get the jobs. I need to research it more. Either way, a BS is on the way and not the funny kind.

I make and sell soy candles. Some day my friend will finish her website and they will be featured there. Until then email me and I can tell you when the next fair is or my friend’s tea shop that should feature them too is at. Or hell, I'll sell them to you straight. Many flavors to tantalize the senses.

I am the proud owner of our first home. That is an accomplishment considering it is in the Silicon Valley.

I am married to a brilliant electrical engineer. He holds patents on a few solar cell projects. I am very proud of him. He could be a regular MacGyver. I swear he can fix anything.

I am learning to speak Tamil. Let me tell you those squiggly lines are tough! I hope to travel to Asia very soon. Then perhaps I’ll be able to use the Malay I learned!

Carrots love tomatoes - the secrets of companion planting for successful gardening by Louise Riotte

This book is the holy grail! So much information, so little time to plan my garden. Though fighting for good spaces to garden will be a future challenge as the hubbies wants a mango, necatarine and apple tree. Hmmm. I'd love those, but I need more land! Our lot isn't that big and the stupid avacado trees a... read more

Yep you heard me we are purchasing a second home. Ok it is for his folks. But it is in our name so there we go. Plus we bought one big enough for us to visit and have our own space. Cool stuff. Now to skip out of the country and go stay in my new home. *crosses fingers* Lets hope for the end of the year.

Do you have a project you have been putting off? Have you not found the time to just sit down and work on it? Well a week from tomorrow is your day!

Stitch and Bitch at my house Saturday November 12th 1:30pm. I'll have the tables ready with a power strip to sew. Movies going on in the front room if we feel like it. The kettle on the stove, munchies to eat. Or if you have had that bad of a day, we can and will throw you in the hot tub to relax.

One super cute peekingese to bite you... read more
