Senate Bill 465 discriminates against medical marijuana cardholders. Already passed by the Senate, SB 465 will be heard before the House Elections, Ethics and Rules Committee on May 16. We need your help to spread the word to committee members that they should oppose this unfair bill. Oregonians should have the right to use lawfully obtained medical marijuana in the same manner as every other lawfully obtained medication. But SB 465 allows employer... read more

Back in 97-98 a high school friend of mine had a double lung transplant. She had cystic-fibrosis and at the time of the transplant had only a single lung. She survived the surgery and was granted the gift of lungs from a healthy 17 year-old girl who had died during a dental surgery. (Ironic that we can transplant lungs but can't get a 17 year-old through a dental surgery?)
