having known faith better now, i feel she deserves a new testimonial from me. since i've now had multiple opportunities to spend some quality time in her presence, and in her home, i can say without doubt that i find her to be one of the most creative people i've ever met in my life. she truly inspires me. conversations with faith can get deep and last hours (and make you move across the country). she's a wonderful listener, an eloquent talker, and so wonderfully considerate, too. faith, dear, i've been writing a response to your beautiful, handwritten letter for a month now - that's how boring my life has been.

People sometimes refer to a man as a "rennaisance man", and I'm not sure I've heard the term used for a woman. Well, whatever, Faith you are a Rennaisance Woman. You seem to do it all, and successfully. You designs, you sew, you sculpt metal, you garden, you dance in a band, you make shit happen everywhere you go! You are one of the people I know that most impresses me with your raw talent, your unending creative endeavors, but more than that, your fantastic personality. I always feel you are very present in your interactions, you have many fascinating ideas, you treat others with warmth and interest, you listen well and also share great stories.... in short, you are totally engaged in living, you look at each day with new eyes (or so it seems to me), and I always am delighted when I see you and get to spend time with you. we both have big plump hearts with soft and tender skins, filled with the sweetest idealism and romance swelled to bursting. we both love our hearts and their sweet tender nature. we both recoil in horror at the casual way that the world seems to jostle such precious organs, and so we hold them close, tight within our chest, she in her way, i in mine. faiths heart carries her into sunrise and night fall, into creating and nurturing ideas until they unfold, fractillion, moving on their own energy. faith's heart could bring a dead thing back to life, as she has for my heart multiple times when i've loved unwisely.
