ever ponder?
Mon, July 7, 2008 - 4:00 PMSo right now, I'm gonna make ya think. Did you really thing this is it with your reality? Get up in the morning, consume things, seek out love, sustain a smile, & hopefully maintain your sanity and health the whole way through. Sheesh.
You know, the sun pulsates, basically expanding and contracting just like it's breathing, and it's duration of cycle is exactly, to the millisecond, five minutes. The nearest star to us, Alpha Centauri B, pulsates exactly over a seven minute cycle. Coincidence? Take that word and sharpie it out of your dictionary. Be gone with you! The Sumerians invented our time system, 60 seconds, 60 minutes, 24 hours, over 5,000 years ago. Now did they know something that we didn't know?
A Mayan Calendar stone dated to 600 BC states our universe is 16.4 billion years old, while our current estimate is at 15.8 billion, and two years ago, the theory was around 14 billion, before that, 12 billion, and originally it was 10 billion. I bet, eventually we'll be on board with Mayan Cosmology. But how the hell do they know this?
Like how did the Egyptians know that limestone fractures at 51° 50' 40" and then to incorporate that exact angle into their pyramids for the slope of the sides. And yes, limestone was the building material. Geometric unison at it's best. A 44-meter pyramid was built in Russia out of fiberglass with many experiments conducted over two decades. The simplest, most interesting experiment involved a glass of water with a thermometer in it. The lowest temperature the water reached in the winter was -6 deg F, and alas, it never froze and remained in it's liquid state. However, as soon as the water was startled, even with the slightest tap it began to freeze rather fast.
These are the questions our society chooses to ignore because it doesn't fit in with our current established scientific agenda. So my advice to you is not to allow that agenda to keep hold of you. Think freely. Let yourself become alive. For life is a never ending fractal with time itself pulsating intermixed with the past, present, and future in a single moment of infinite existence. And you my friend, are a very important facet to the inner workings of this existence. Grab life by the reigns. You're in more control than you can possibly imagine. You just have to want it.

Heh :) I've spent most of my life thinking about this sort of thing. I'll say this.. the silly thought that The Ancients were rubes is sadly wrong. They were able to measure things to incredible accuracy, using rudimentary tools.
I don't think they knew "something" we don't know.. I think they lived in a time that was so profoundly different than anything we experience day to day, it is almost impossible for us to comprehend how they think. Our thoughts are shaped by patterns. Those patterns develop over a lifetime of experiences. So, we see the world through that matrix. You've heard of "culture shock"? Well, I suspect if one of us traveled back to ancient Sumeria, they'd be in for it, bigtime. How old is the universe? Actually, there are a number of scoentists that say it is impossible to predict with current knowledge. Big Bangers dominate the field of cosmology, but I'm not one of them. I lean towards Plasma Cosmology. Look for it online. You'll find a number of folks bashing it, but with more and more evidence supporting the theories, that bashing is getting more and more hollow, and is starting to sound religious. The folks behind Plasma Cosmology are not lightweights either. Very serious folks are involved, with very serious and convincing evidence. So, maybe that will change your mind about some things. The notion that our Sun is electrically connected to our galaxy, as are all suns, and our earth connected to the sun (which was recently shown to be true) in the same way. That gravity is actually of no consequence in the larger scheme, and magnetism and electricity are, in fact, the true driving forces. That suns are not nuclear furnaces, but pinched plasma focuses deriving their energy from OUTside our solar system, through a huge, plasma filament. Check it out. |
