The Dawning of You

<div>	For some of you right now, this may be a moment; one to remember. For that is all life is, a series of continuous moments, unfolding one after another. The only reason the past exists is because you put faith into your memories, and the future is a consistent unknown, yet there always seems to be this comfort that tomorrow is and will be just around the corner. But right now, that's it and all there ever is. For this is your reality. This is your ever so wonderful, of a world. The greatest thing within this moment of yours, is that it is devoid of this so called illusion of time, and thus rendering it of an infinite existence. My friend, welcome to you.

When you first came to in this supposed existence it was as if you were sitting in a box. And everyday since those eyes saw light, your box kept getting bigger; filling up with stuff. Your reality grew. And at some moment in your life, this infamous of moments, you realized you were sitting in that box, and in time, you were free. And there you stood looking at the box, pondering your new existence, but in all actuality, the existence you always have been and will be.

The most important part of this realization, is that you are we, and we are you, and we are one. This existence is the simple yet complex organism of life. It is not just one, or two, or you, or me, it is all. And it is here to learn and grow. For that is what these moments are for. Let it be simple, and happiness is simple. And death will just be another moment as the sun will to continue to rise and set, along with your first breath of many first breaths. And hopefully what you have learned from this moment, is the beauty of it, and of everything. And I mean everything.

It is in separation that beguiles us, and brings us away from the simplest of notions, into a complex scheme of rules and definitions. The dualistic nature of our society brings forth the most despair in this world of ours because it allows it to be created. Everything is interrelated into the one mathematical idea of infinity. To break up our reality into different unrelated working sets creates not only different distinctions in our external world, but among ourselves, and even more importantly with our own selves.

It is choice that is your weapon, to make the decision to look from above down onto the unspoken laws society puts forth, in that those only apply to you if you so choose. Any belief is your choice, but regardless of choice, is you, because you are living these moments, experiencing the world from your perspective, and engaging an understanding of the other perspectives. While the only truth that is outside this mathematical existence is that: You are.</div>

Another meditation story

<div>So I managed to get into a really deep trance just about an hour ago during a half hour meditation, but it only lasted a little over a minute. In this minute, I swear I was dreaming, and there was this story unfolding over the minute, a long story that a kept forgetting moment after moment. However, the last moment before I snapped out of it I remembered the word/idea "platform" and it seemed like it was like a sliver of the lowest level of a pyramid, so it was like a big tall square but the sides were carved inwards at an angle. I also vaguely remember the scattered outlines of people on and around the platform as I was looking down on it all from a bird's eye view. The interesting thing about this episode as I came out of the trance, thinking these thoughts, seeing the vision of the platform, which was all very hazy in nature as I was sort of coming to, I was repeating the verse "Open the Earth" over and over in my head. I haven't analyzed this much yet; just figured writing about it first might help stimulate me some more. And maybe you too! Cheerio!</div>

<div>So last night, from 9:45-10:10, on a Monday night, I broke my record for making money. $20 in 25 minutes plus a special brownie! Someone tipped me a weed brownie lol. And yes, I am eating it at this very moment. You guys have to come up here, the money is ridiculous. And that was only spinning poi twice and staff once. Can't wait to go back to work tonight hehe.</div>

<div>
So right now, I'm gonna make ya think. Did you really thing this is it with your reality? Get up in the morning, consume things, seek out love, sustain a smile, &amp; hopefully maintain your sanity and health the whole way through. Sheesh.

You know, the sun pulsates, basically expanding and contracting just like it's breathing, and it's duration of cycle is exactly, to the millisecond, five minutes. The nearest star to us, Alpha Centauri B, pulsates exactly over a seven minute cycle. Coincidence? Take that word and sharpie it out of your dictionary. Be gone with you! The Sumerians invented our time system, 60 seconds, 60 minutes, 24 hours, over 5,000 years ago. Now did they know something that we didn't know?

A Mayan Calendar stone dated to 600 BC states our universe is 16.4 billion years old, while our current estimate is at 15.8 billion, and two years ago, the theory was around 14 billion, before that, 12 billion, and originally it was 10 billion. I bet, eventually we'll be on board with Mayan Cosmology. But how the hell do they know this?

Like how did the Egyptians know that limestone fractures at 51° 50' 40" and then to incorporate that exact angle into their pyramids for the slope of the sides. And yes, limestone was the building material. Geometric unison at it's best. A 44-meter pyramid was built in Russia out of fiberglass with many experiments conducted over two decades. The simplest, most interesting experiment involved a glass of water with a thermometer in it. The lowest temperature the water reached in the winter was -6 deg F, and alas, it never froze and remained in it's liquid state. However, as soon as the water was startled, even with the slightest tap it began to freeze rather fast.

These are the questions our society chooses to ignore because it doesn't fit in with our current established scientific agenda. So my advice to you is not to allow that agenda to keep hold of you. Think freely. Let yourself become alive. For life is a never ending fractal with time itself pulsating intermixed with the past, present, and future in a single moment of infinite existence. And you my friend, are a very important facet to the inner workings of this existence. Grab life by the reigns. You're in more control than you can possibly imagine. You just have to want it.</div>

A Voice

    </a>
<div>So I was meditating last night, and I saw this statue that looked like a Chinese emperor, or at least Chinese in style, but the figure displaying signs of high stature, with a greenish tinge. However, it's nothing new seeing stuff like this for me. What was interesting was, this was the first time I hear a voice and it said four syllables: Sha - to - ma -zay. This was followed by what look liked two men lifting some column onto a resting set of horses, but there were not your home depot variety but much more simple that were curved to fit the columns and had some sort of thatch padding on them for the column. Anyways, the next morning it occurred to me sha-to (as that's how I was visualizing the syllables in words), could be Chateau, as in a French castle. I did come across two castles: Chateau d'Azay-le-Ferron and Chateau d'Azay-le-Rideau, with the latter being much more popular/famous. So the only thing I am wondering is this what the voice meant obviously, with the third syllable should it of been da or ma? Maybe that's the clue to differentiate between the two. Maybe it's something completely different, or maybe alas it's just my imagination. What was interesting the first thing I did see while meditating was a person who punched me straight in the face. I thought like "Woah, let's back up." Which I was able to, I rewound the moment essentially, and saw the scene play backwards to before I saw it where the man was just standing before it, and let it play again. This time I intervened, which is something I never do either, but I imagined shaking his hand and said, "Hi, my name is Gregor." He then told me his name was Michael. And that was that. The voice soon came after. A little interesting note, the banker of Napoleon owned the Chateau d'Azay-le-Ferron, and his name was Gregoire Michel. Hmmm... Well, Gregor out.</div>

<div>So it's official. Well sorta. But I am organizing an event at Monument Square around 5 o'clock for Friday, June 6th, just like the live @ five series, that's going to have various dance and music performances going on, and possibly a few speakers. So I am looking for anybody who would be interested in volunteering their time, with either handing out things, standing at a booth, or collecting donations. Also, anyone who would be interested in performing I would greatly appreciate it. I have a fair share of performers who have already committed but the more volunteers the better! Thanks everybody!</div>

<div>So I was meditating last week, and had this vision of a golden temple you could say, in a grassy green field, with green hills in the background, and several other gold objects around it. Everything was absolutely radiating in light. I drew out the picture in full color with oil pastels like I usually do, and after about an hour it clicked. It was stone henge, with the heel stone and all, exactly. Everything though was like gold plated and more intricate then we know today. Well, I just felt like sharing. Adios!

*Update, written a few days later (this blog is form something else actually but the update is technically for today, as this is why I wanted to put it in here, on Tribe)*

I also wanted to mention at the end of this meditation, I saw my friend sitting at her computer pushing back her hair a couple times behind her ear in a vision. I decided to break my trance and call her to ask her if that's what she was doing. She immediately ran to her window and was like where the hell are you, as she had been doing just that.

And several hours ago my Grandma gave me a book, "Stonehenge and it's mysteries," as she said they were throwing it away at her retirement home's library and she snagged it cause she though I may appreciate it. And well I have to say, there are no coincidences in life.</div>

<div>Paulson offers sweeping rule changes
Among Treasury chief's recommendations: Widening Fed's reach and creating a federal regulator for mortgage industry.

By David Ellis, CNNMoney.com staff writer
Last Updated: March 31, 2008: 10:27 AM EDT

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson on Monday proposed a set of sweeping changes to the nation's financial system, including a broad expansion of the Federal Reserve's powers, in what could herald the biggest regulatory overhaul of Wall Street since the Great Depression.

The plan comes as concerns about the housing crisis and its fallout in the financial system continues to fuel calls for change in Washington. The changes, if enacted, would be largely invisible to consumers but would drastically alter how the financial services industry is regulated.

"Government has a responsibility to make sure our financial system is regulated effectively," Paulson said. "And in this area, we can do a better job."

Among the plan's biggest proposals is to provide additional powers to the Federal Reserve, which, along with the Treasury Department, has attempted to shepherd the nation through the housing crisis. Earlier this month, the Fed orchestrated a marriage between JPMorgan Chase (JPM, Fortune 500) and Bear Stearns (BSC, Fortune 500), which was on the verge of a collapse that could have caused shockwaves throughout the financial system.

Under the Paulson plan, the Fed would essentially serve as a financial markets moderator, stepping in if the nation's markets were again threatened by an episode like the near collapse of Bear Stearns. Currently the central bank is responsible for setting the country's monetary policy as well as acting as a supervisor of certain banks and all bank holding companies.

Streamlining agencies

Another cornerstone of the plan would involve combining some of the existing agencies that oversee the financial services sector in an effort to streamline regulation and close gaps in oversight.

Under the proposal, the Securities and Exchange Commission, which ensures the functioning of financial markets and is responsible for protecting investors, would merge with the Commodity Futures and Trading Commission, which regulates the trading of futures contracts. Meanwhile, the Office of Thrift Supervision would be folded into the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

The proposal would also establish a new federal regulator for the mortgage industry, affecting both lenders and brokers, which now follow a patchwork of state regulations.

Paulson's plan includes other bold moves, including bringing previously unregulated financial entities like hedge funds and private equity firms within the reach of federal authorities and federalizing the oversight of the insurance industry.

Paulson - Beware over-regulation

But Paulson urged restraint at implementing the proposals, which could meet with criticism from Congressional Democrats. He said that enacting major changes could burden a market already under strain.

"These long-term ideas require thoughtful discussion and will not be resolved this month or even this year," he said.

Paulson, former chairman of Wall Street powerhouse Goldman Sachs, has warned in the past that heightened regulation would hinder American financial markets to compete with maturing foreign markets.

"I am not suggesting that more regulation is the answer," Paulson said Monday. "I am suggesting that we should and can have a structure that is designed for the world we live in, one that is more flexible, one that can better adapt to change."

Happy St. Patty's Day! And read your bible!

<div>So, I was sitting at Breaking New Grounds this evening sipping on some coffee and finishing the last book of the Iliad (Great read!), when a man walked in and handed me this million dollar bill with a leprechaun on it. I flipped it over, and go figure it was some Christian faith preaching itself.

It asked if you have ever committed one of several sins [it listed off], trying to be somewhat poetic about it. And of coarse, what always followed after that: YOU WILL GO TO HELL! And from there, it basically concludes: Read your bible!

By the time I was through with it, I looked up but the man had already made his rounds through the coffee shop and was gone. All I could think about was that I wanted to run out of the store and after the man to preach my own peace of mind.

"EXCUSE ME, SIR! HOW CAN YOU HAND THIS OUT WHEN YOU YOURSELF ARE SINNING BY INSTILLING FEAR IN OTHERS! If you want people to read the bible, why don't you take on a more positive role like: Are you alone and in the need of guidance and hope..."

The negative views the Christian Church instills upon people is disgusting. Makes them feel insecure and pathetic. WAKE UP ALL OF YOU! I am not saying there is no god, dear no, but that simply this negative war the church brings upon the minds that if you don't give in, you will suffer!

What happened to believing in God (or divine being), and being at one with yourself; simply enlightened to where you act as moral person and reflect that upon the world. And no, I am not Christian or religious, for you close minded folk out there who like to jump the gun at judging others. I am expressing the most simple of ideas in that positive outweighs negative, love over hate. Remember that! Fear is the greatest weapon EVER put forth upon our lives, from politics to religion, to as simply as do your homework or else!</div>

    </a>
<div>*Note: Wrote this for an ad on Craigslist*

So I've had this dream for several years now, and the past couple months I have been really refining the idea into something solid. However, it's something I really can't do on my own. So I am looking for others to join me in my quest. And this is no little idea, this is a long term career like no other in which I would consider you my family. So if you're interested in an adventure along the lines of Indiana Jones then read on:

STOP READING THOUGH IF:
You dislike the sea
Not a fan of history
Close-minded

First off, let me give you an idea of who I am. I currently go to USM for Classical Humanities, and eventually plan to get my masters in [possibly underwater] archeology. I intern at Lone Wolf Documentary group in South Portland producing documentaries for affiliates like History Channel and NOVA. I am a very independent learner. I taught myself a wide range of computer programs, specifically graphic design programs like Maya and Photoshop. I learned the basis of physics on my own by sophomore year in high school. I have in a matter of less than two years become a professional and recognized fire spinner, teaching myself the arts completely on my own. I have for years researched new technology and engineering related fields to whatever was my current interest. I have become very familiar with superconductivity, electromagnetics, aerospace engineering, and currently studying marine design (specifically sailboats and catamarans). The primary focus of these studies have to do with transportation (mobile engineering). What I am trying to convey to you is I am no average joe, I have the motivation and determination like no other to learn and excel in life.

However, here is my so called dream and ever evolving ambition:

I plan to first acquire a storm damaged (hurricane) sailboat from an insurance company for an extremely cheap price. I will then fix this boat up until she is sea ready with the following two options then to follow: Either sell her for a decent amount of profit and buy a new boat to fix up, or charter her (boats are shes!) for the summer in Casco Bay. Really this depends on the time of year and situation. However once I get into the swing of things, I will hopefully sell the boat in the fall and buy another fixer upper which I can work on throughout the winner. Summer comes around charter her, fall sell/buy, winter fix... And so on. Over time I will keep working my way up with bigger boats. I am also currently designing my own 22' catamaran right now which I plan to build from molds I make. If the design is successful, I will start custom producing them to sell. Eventually I want to possibly having a couple to a few boats being worked on once with a permanent crew. This all would require a warehouse to work on these boats too, however at first, I'm not too worried about it, I've already done a bit of research into it. We would also all be getting Scuba Diving certified and USCG Certified Caption.

Now I am thinking about 4-5 years from now, when I will be able to get my first 40'+ catamaran (I eventually want about a 60'). These catamarans usually cost about $400k brand new. Even used you're still looking at least $200k+ due to their high resell value. Well I want to find one from the insurance companies that has complete flood damage and preferably minimal hull damage (catamarans have complex composite hull designs compared to most monohulls/sailboats). So that means the engines are worthless. I plan to put in two hydrogen fuel cells, two electric DC motors, two/four hydrogen storage tanks, and a decent set of batteries. (I am going to spare all the technicalities, but trust me I know what I am talking about. Also to note, five years from now technology will also be improved/cheaper.) Being a catamaran with two hulls, in makes sense to have a set in each hull, and any engineer will tell you, it's better to have two than one (ie one fails, you have a back up). Battery type is still up in the air, that sector is dramatically changing. This is to eliminate the infamous diesel engine and large fuel tanks on board (and all that weight in fuel!!!). To generate hydrogen you have a desalinator on board to purify sea water into fresh water, which one can obviously provide fresh water to the crew, and two, to be used to electrolyze water into hydrogen and oxygen (oxygen is just waste). The electricity to electrolyze the water comes from a varied amount of sources, the primary source being the engines themselves. When the craft is under sail, the engines actually are dual purpose, they become generators, as water flow with spin the propellers from the forward movement. This design has been started to be used in the past decade and has proven to be very superior [in terms of net output]. You also have wind and solar power at your use to be used. I am not going to go into details about this but yes it has been planned out extensively. That is the principle engineering behind the boat [away from a traditional sailboat]. We would also include an on board electric air compressor for scuba diving, plus possible other scientific equipment (More info on this below).

This idea being, you are COMPLETELY self sufficient in terms of transportation. The biggest daily costs else wise after that would be food, toiletries, medicine, and rather expensive red wine. Other rather large costs would be occasional repairs/parts, insurance, and port fees (crossing borders into other countries, like a tourist tax). But otherwise we would be able to travel rather freely around the world.

I would plan on one last summer in Maine with this catamaran chartering it (The chartering business with this type of boat is ridiculous in terms of profit). As the hurricane season ends, we would set sail for the Caribbean to spend the winter there over the next six months.

This is where the fun really begins. I plan to stay with Lone Wolf, as its only a matter of time they hire me (and I'm not being cocky about this, they love me there). About half of Lone Wolf's documentaries revolve around underwater archeology and scientific expeditions. So we are going to start a long term series that has two focuses: Teaching the public (What TLC use to do!) and sharing our adventure and expeditions. The next six months with serve three purposes primarily: The first being that us the crew become extremely comfortable with each other on the seas and the boat. We understand EVERYTHING about that boat and how to sail it. Second would be doing charters here and there that we either have planned or pick up last second as we see fit (We could rotate with crew going ashore for the day the others captaining). This would also involve scuba diving, which there is even more money in. Third, is underwater excavation and exploration.

I have all my life been interested in Atlantis (and don't let that name throw you off ass I know it may for some). I believe strongly in that the many myths out there of the antediluvian floods that are spoken through out almost all [ancient] societies throughout the world are real. This being in 9600 BC, the time Plato states Atlantis disappeared into the sea, that the worlds oceans dramatically rose do to the melting of the glaciers, including the sudden outflow of glacier lakes (ie what happens in Ice Age 2). Without going into lengthy detail, 12,000 years ago the ocean was 300 feet lower than it is today. If you think of this, how much more coast line would there be? A ton. And where is the majority of human society settled throughout history: The coast. That being said, putting two and two together in that how much there really is to be discovered out there. Sites have been popping up all over the world recently that have been drawing attention such as in India, the Persian Gulf, and Japan. One of the most famous being Bimini, which is the past couple years has been proven to be man made.

So those first six months would focus heavily on the Bahamas, Florida, Cuba region which I believe had a very prevalent maritime society long ago.

In terms of scientific equipment as I mentioned before we would be greatly interested in sonar [sensor type of] equipment. This area I have little knowledge in so I won't dive into it. But you get the idea. A robotic camera with lights would also be very useful and I'm just the type of guy to design it, for either as an extra cameraman or for dives say beyond 130 feet (As the deepest we ever need to go really is 300 feet, even though the majority of discoveries are all in 100' or less).

But I'm getting ahead of myself maybe, but I just wanted to get my IDEA across to you, in the hopes you might share this dream and want to dedicate yourself to it. So basically from the Caribbean we would most likely sail for the Mediterranean and from there, where ever the hell we wanted to go! The world is our oyster. I am going to cut my plan short here to prevent it from dragging on. I have much more to say about the documentary series itself, the boat design, and expenses, but I will leave that to when and if we might talk or meet in person. There's a ton this idea encompasses. It's not as easy as saying "Yeah, we're gonna sail around the world someday."

But as the title says, I am looking for people that you could say are like Leonardo da Vinci: Engineer, writer, artist, scientist, inventor... The list goes on with him. People who excel at life and have a passion to explore all its possibilities. People who are around my age (not like 50), very independent and strong willed in nature. I am looking for life long friends in all honesty!

And if you made it this far, thanks for reading!!!

    </a>
<div>My usual Monday to Friday begins with classes, either Latin or Classical Mythology depending on the day (Bet you can't guess my major). I'm typically a minute or two late for a class, the one who always says here as he walks into the room hearing his name get called out. That will be the first of several laughs I seem to cause throughout the class. That cunning alec in class who thinks he knows more than the teacher.

That's me. Sometimes my cockiness gets the best of me. I mean it's hard to help. If only the other students around me knew what was going through my head, who was really behind this kid, this Indiana Jones wannabe that dances on the desk with his fingers all class. It makes you wonder if you should keep your hidden passion of fire and dance a secret, or let it boast your personality into some other materialistic idealization of our ever so [lacking] society.

I always manage to sneak out ten minutes into class to run down stairs for a cup of coffee, preferably French vanilla, medium, with a decent amount of whole milk and granulated sugar. I'm a health nut, and would usually go for the sugar in the raw. But I actually decided not even four days ago while I was pouring just plain sugar, I said "Fuck raw sugar cane. This stuff mixes in like three seconds flat." And that was that.

I once raced cars [illicitly]. I loved it (one word, well maybe two, 6-speed). And that was the problem. The past is the past, but I can tell you, the law didn't like me one bit. However, on that notion [and not to stray off topic, as that happens to us ADD characters], you had hot shot racers who showed off their cars, in every cocky male sorta fashion. Hell, it was Central Florida. But these "ricers" were in my opinion the laughing stock of Orlando society. What was interesting were the lone rangers of the street racing crowd, the "sleepers." Cars that were all stock on the outside, except for a different muffler and dark tinted windows. They would have a deep rumbling sound to it, but not loud at all. Their windows would always be up, and no music would ever be rattling from the car. instead of that offset base lacking any treble [which in my opinion nullifies the essence of music, except for Benny, I love my Benny B]. And on the road, they were unmatched. No ifs ands or buts.

So I decided recently, when it comes to fire spinners, I am the sleeper. Which is damn ironic in all account, cause I am the worse insomniac ever; creativity sure is a killer!

The most interesting part of the day is when the day starts to wrap up, class wise. I'm either about to get out of French or Roman history (and French is where I'm always the clock looker during the last twenty minutes), and I always think about "Yeah, I get to go work out right now!" Which in all truth means "Greg gets to go play with his toys now." I really do turn into a little kid when it comes to poi and stuff.

However, there's times like many before where stage fright sorta comes into play. But it's not your typical type of stage fright. It really has a different feel to it. This winter, I've been practicing mostly inside, in this little alcove of an area in the community center in the school. In like a half hour of practicing there, a good twenty people may seem me perform. In our neck of the woods (spinners), that may seem like a tad much, but an "are you serious" probably to the most of us.

Today was warm; really warm. I can tell I haven't seen grass really in awhile, and it was everywhere today. For the most part, it was only snowbanks from plows and shoveling that remained. Well, when I went to my alcove today some reception was going on there. "Damnit," I said as I put my hands on my side like I was my ever so domineering idol Robin Williams (Bangerang rufio!). I walked out of the building to head to the gym which was always my last resort, but then the grass hit me for the first time. And no more rain (which I forgot to mention, go me), it was sunny now. I began to march up this path on a slight incline and when I reached the top, I gazed the central courtyard.

This is the fright part. Where several different thoughts and scenarios play out in your head. I don't wanna seem like I'm showing off, especially to girls. Or looked at peculiar with a "What the hell." It's always that should I or should I not. But as the months had progressed [through winter] on, and I haven't done much in public for awhile [and I can tell you there are students and people walking everywhere here in this coutrtyard], you can sometimes get a little camera shy. You know?

But [that infamous] alas, the hesitation subsides, and I pop in my headphones, "Hello" I say to my blue balled friend Rebecca. The music begins to play. For it really doesn't matter whose watching me, or how many, or if even that many are really appreciating it, because I'm in Gregor's world now. And I'm gonna fucking let it rip.</div>

    </a>
<div>The last three winters I have really spent them in Florida. This is more first real winter since then, and oh jeez, it hits ya with a ton of bricks. The depression is just unbearable at times. Everyone seems to be trapped home in an attempt to escape the cold and all they do is zone out in front of the TV with a beer in their hands, and you're lucky as hell if they aren't a channel surfer (as you're there next to them with the beer in hand too, go figure).

No more spinning fire downtown. Too cold, no crowds (especially tourists), and a sheet of white clothes the park's landscape. School seems to be going smooth, yet you can't help but be the one who stands out in class. And well, people don't seem to like that. My school is full of conformists and let me tell you, that ain't fun to work with on a day to day basis. Where are the eccentrics in Maine? I don't blame this state for say any mishappened (new word, Copyright © 2007 Gregor Clary) sorrows, but things really could be spiced up here.

So alas, I am left to my own personal endeavors to bring forth any joy out of this place. My sphere, who I adamantly call Rebeka, has become a very good friend of mine as of lately. At first, she was just another toy, but as soon as I learned to move the feet along with her (on my upper body of coarse, I haven't thrown any hack moves in yet haha), it's a blast to zone and do some Grade A ballroom dancing with a ball at your fingertips. However, I am way too protective of her and worried that someday she may crack as she is only acrylic.

There's just times (hourly basis for me) you wanna dance, and well, it's look like it's gonna be a solo dance party. Oh shucks. So, what can you do but give into a little poi. Tonight, I took it a step up. I cranked up some PsyTrance and attempted meteor for the first time. And god damn that is some fun shit, I couldn't stop. I hooked up three tye die socks I made (made a dozen plus for poi) and they came out friggin' bangin'. I had watched some Cirque du Soleil (DVD) last week, their La Nouba (in Orlando) and Corteo (North American tour) performances. And well, I was very intrigued most specifically with the Chinese meteor performer. So ya, I had to just give it a try.

So Wildfire has been on my mind a lot lately. I can't wait for Spring. It's just gonna be uber sick. I had this crazy lucid dream awhile ago about it. I recorded it in my dream journal. I'll have to post it sometime, just need blue tooth to hook my phone to my computer.

Old Port Theatre Company

<div>I posted this on MySpace and felt like throwing it on here, even thought the majority of you aren't in Maine.

Alright, so I've had this in the works for awhile but this is something completely aside from the Molotov Fire Cirkus. Well, next summer I want to be a full time street performer (Unless Lone Wolf works out, who knows).

And all I have to say is one word, tourists.

Last summer, we drew quite a crowd, but it was always after eight we'd have to perform because well fire and sunlight don't mix that well.

I want to get into doing many different and varying kinds of performances in the Old Port (Primarily in the park next to Rira's). We can perform simple skits, the fire arts (which you can also incorporate into skits), original types of performances (like one I have in mind using a projector playing off John Hammond's DNA pin prick ride video from Jurassic Park), sword fighting (dressed as knights, or reenacting Cyrano, which would be awesome), simple old magic tricks, showing videos or anything that can be done with a projector (animations I make)... But yes the list goes on. The idea of this to incorporate all three main things into this type of group. Acting, skilled art, arty art, and music (live performances). I have many ideas I've come across.

This idea is at the moment separate from Molotov as it seems to be skilled art based only.

However, I plan to do a bunch on my own over the winter, but come Spring, I want to start practicing with people to get routines down for the Summer.

Basically, if anyone is interested let me know.</div>

										<div>With a flick of a match
It comes to life
In the palm of your hand
Then around your body
As it comes over your head
The light it produces
Amazes all who see
And heat yells its toll
The colors of the Sun can be seen
With orange being burned upon your eyes
The crackling roar screams out
As it rips through the air
Leaving a trace of it's footsteps
In a dark sullen type of way
As it begins to lose its grip of power
It slowly fades into the oblivion
In which it so abruptly came
For its last breath of glow dies away
And once again darkness overcomes</div>

Very very productive day

<div>So I just wanted to list out how productive my day was.

In poi alone, I taught myself thread the needle (Yes, I know, I never could get the hang of it but I did finally!!!), 360 weave (got the 180 forward to reverse down today first, did it a cheap way before, not the correct way), that one down one up stall, and a butterfly high split. Also just starting to get the feel of the 5 beat weave, but not completely there yet. Nothing too complex but intermediate stuff I have not been able to get down.

In contact juggling I am borderline mastered the roll from one arm across the chest to the other arm smoothly without bouncing. And my left hand i alot more efficient today than it has ever been, and just tailing behind my right.

And I did 10 assignments of Calculus as it's all online and the test is tomorrow, and well I never did any.

Oh ya, and I transcribed a video for my internship for some documentary about this family from Ohio in the 60's.

Now time to cool down to a glass of shiraz/cabernet and think god damn Gregor, god damn.</div>

<div>So I just got interviewed on campus for the school newspaper doing some CT jugging. And well I must say since starting on Friday, I have come already a long way. can keep it moving all around my hand and arm perfectly, just getting the chest down, but I can keep it smooth and continuous. Well, they asked me how long have you been doing this and I'm like umm 5 days. And they're like eh heh. And I'm like I'm serious. And then I showed them my poi. So, I'm gonna be in the school paper for my oh so lovely hobby and they're advertising the poi class I'm gonna teach and when we perform downtown. Woot!</div>

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/cf47a665-cdf8-4662-a4f5-53e511913c60/blog/55f73f15-d067-41f5-9ca1-0a7d3f93f5db"> <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/df4/23f/df423fa4-6f12-458a-8c40-8bca8c009ae9.thumb" width="65" height="35" alt="" />
    </a>
<div> So with little behind you to reconcile or deem worth cherishing, you mount your horse with your sword by your side. You secure your few belongings to the back of your only friend and look toward the horizon. You glance quickly back to your familiar surroundings as last minute thoughts begin to ponder their way into creation. You hesitate but following a deep breath, you turn back toward the great vast unknown standing before you.

The domain ahead forever confronting your curiousity with an undescribable intrigue in that you feel it must be tamed by your eyes. The knowledge that rests upon those virgin lands are just a motive away, yet the actual transgression of obtaining it can be the utmost hardest.

Without muttering a word, but lingering only with a passing thought to echo along with the wind, you set forth on a new level of life, into an adventure like no other you have before. You leave behind your comfort and security of your homeland for something anew yet dangerous.

As with every passing moment, you feel yourself slowly elevate to a new understanding, while your faithful compansion's feet clash upon the barren ground below.

What is this new feeling encompassing your reality? In that you have been seeking to gain all this time, this undetering voice yearning for you to answer. Your dreams had whispered this perplexing secret into your ears and only now did you truly understand it's hidden intentions.

Before your eyes, the sun breaks free of the clouds creating an unhindered sight of beauty, as the parting moments of daylight fade into the evening sunset. You let go of the reigns and spread your arms out to your sides as if you were to soar through the skies like your eagle brethren.

The voice that was calling you was in all your very own. What yours thoughts had been pointing you to, what they have been seeking, what they had been craving for in the utmost of life's possessions was that of a single virtue.

    You were free.</div>

<div>So this I wrote a couple months ago and is in the introduction "about me" part on my MySpace profile. I thought I should share it with my fire buddies. Enjoy!

----------------------------------

I'm me. And you're you. I like who I am. Hopefully you like who you are. But there's the chance you may not like me, and vice versa. But does that matter? Can we just say hi, comment on the weather, and maybe just end with a simple good bye. I do not care if you're black or gay, maybe have a big nose or can't pronounce your R's right, big deal. The only thing I care about it, is that you acknowledge that I am someone, somewhere, doing something with my life.

And in return, this may not just be a fleeting moment but an exchange of thoughts and of mutual respect, in that we both wish each other good luck to where ever tomorrow may bring us, whether we ever cross paths again or not.

Yet could our paths be more entwined than initially conceived? Maybe in fact you are just like me, just behind a different mask with a different tongue. We may step to a different beat and see through a different pair of glasses. But at the core of us, deep down, there is something without words that binds us together: One idea, one motive, one instinct that goes even beyond that of survival.

Or is it our paths are of entirely two different worlds, of opposing fundamental ideas. Our beliefs and morals deter us from engaging in the most simplistic of communication. That what I may laugh at is in turn what you scream at in rage. Maybe you are just you. And I am just me.

For these introductions are never about who we are, our personalities, our likes and dislikes, yet whether in fact they will accept who we truly are.

But hey, friends call me Gregor. And yeah I know it could be a little bit nicer out but thats the weather for ya. Adios! And oh ya, good luck!
