Most of us probably understand that there is reflection of form and function in systems within systems and those built of systems. For instance we see the moon circle the earth, the earth circle the sun, the sun circle the galaxy, the galaxy circles the cluster, the cluster circles the supercluster...
Or, as the bible puts it somewhere (anyone know chapter and verse?) "as above, so below"
We use movement as the definition of life, and say that the cell is the smallest division of "life"...
