i still like you...
i still like you, though like you, i find myself wondering from time to time about proper etiquette & whether or not going with the impulse to be who i want to be is worth struggling against all of the petty parts of me...is it better to let go of those who chose other paths (yet seek out people with whom they know i am friendly) or is it better to rant & rave & lash out at those who now appear to be fickle wonton creatures (the flip side of tribe seems to rear its head in the casual way people can cast others out- where once a link appeared, there exists no trace)?
Currently i'm striding to let go- sometimes it is better to know that the people who are worth knowing are the ones who are around when you need them, not just when they can use you...in a perfect world, i will be able to wrap all of my treasured memories around me- memories of people in both my past and my present and no longer will the hurt of past losses or feelings of slights linger and obstruct feelings of security, warmth and love. on that note, if the offer of seeing you still stands, crossing a body of water seems a small price to be in your presence. |

I haven't seen you since... um. Since. Where in the hell have you been, anyway? I thought you abandoned tribe, and I was gonna remove you from my tribe friend list when I was paring down (I'm on my way out, actually) but spidey senses told me to hold off... what up?
