In line with the conclusions of multi-disciplinary scientist Dr. Cheikh Anta Diop, the University of Kmt Press publishes concise scientific findings centered on re-engineering African material culture and rebuilding modern African civilization.
In every area of modern life, ancient Kmt left solid lessons and guiding principles to live by. We should return to our source, build on our best, modernize each area that Ancient African Kmt made advanced contributions in, extract the fundamental lessons, redeem and restore indigenous civilization before the predatory invasions into north Africa, and stand on our ancient's tradition of excellence. The mental, moral, and martial contributions of ancient African Kmt civilization are unmatched in human antiquity.
The present eclectic, confused, frail, fragmented, contaminated, hodge-podge cesspool of stillborn hybridized slave ideas claiming to be African-centered must be jettisoned if Dr. Diop's vision for the redemption, resurrection, and renaissance of spiritual civilization is to be realized within this lifetime. This is the only foundation on which a new modern/scientifically productive world can be built.
Walking around branded with the mark of capitalistic and ego slavery in name, clothes, religion, ethics, holidays, habits, family, architecture, miseducation, calendar, health care, literature, history---everything---has to end. We are equal to all people; no one standing above us, t no one has justification to rule. Never again should we stand behind any race, culture, gender, or class. We respect ourselves first, then we respect those who respect us.
We do not hate anyone, but we do not allow those who hate, harm, and harbor ill will toward us to have their way with us.
The lessons of torment are clear: never again; even if we have to chase our tormentors into the next lifetime. Do it. Never again should these politicians have a standing in our lives it is us they should be representing; never again should we feel them distroying innocent people. Never again will they take advantage of us. This time they will know that they are in a fight for their very lives. There is a steep price, this time. As with any initial psychological reaction, fear is natural, cowardice is not.
Our ancestor showed us to face every fear and to overcome every fear. Face each new day with the knowledge that we control our own destinies if we would just stop being cowards, stop bending over, stop accommodating, stop giving up without even a fight. Our wonderful ancestors taught us to make a stand in this life, in this day. We are judged in this world by what we do; make a good account of yourself.
Our ancestors taught us that we are responsible for our own freedom and independence, we must take it, not beg for it; we are also responsible when others harm us, denigrate us, discriminated against us, or enslave us. We should not help them. We are given life at birth, it is our responsibility to make something out of it regardless of what we face. We get out of life what we give; so, we are at our best when we give our best for the best.
We seek exactitude, fundamental improvement, and certainty in all that we do. We honor precision and perfection, not posturing and fantasizing. Our track records should speak for themselves. It is not what we have to endure, the obstacles, the difficulties, the often intimate harm done to us---it is what we do about it. Are you gonna lay down and get walked over again, and again, or, are you gonna get up and fight with intelligence, heart, toughness to win? This is the central question of our time.
Never again should we grovel to others, especially those who harm us. We all come into this world and go out the same; what separates us is what we do with our lives in between birth and death. We should be self reliant. We should work for and earn what we get in this life---no handouts, no crumbs, no begging. We should know how to do things, scientifically. A talker just talks, but a master teacher affects eternity: We should master modern engineering, architecture/construction, manufacturing, mining, transport, urban planning, government, morality/ethics and societal management.
We should be independent of former, and still present, enslavers: you cannot learn freedom from enslavers, you cannot have equality when one group always has to have more than you, you cannot learn morality from scriptures written by conquerors/invaders, you cannot win when you always have to be their loser, their foil, their clown, their entertainment, their stooge.
We are responsible for this, even though others caused this mess. Soberly, we must honestly look at ourselves, and face, directly, our past and present, eye to eye, toe to toe, heart to heart, soul to soul. Our ancestors taught that we should always ask the very best of ourselves, then give much more. Perfection means doing the best that you can do with what you have. Freedom is living without regrets, and without fear. We should judge on merit alone, and receive based on what we have earned.
No favoritism, no nepotism, no "hook-ups." Don't cheat people; don't slander the good names of people. Work hard; earn what you get in life. Trust only those trustworthy. Keep your word; keep your promises. Credit only what is done, what people do, for the foulest deeds are clothesed in the fairest words. Treasure hearts; stay clear of those who busy themselves with the affairs of others and neglect their own people. Work for those who work for you; care for those who care about you. Some are brave with words but do nothing. Stay clear of them.
Like the honorable Kemeties, we must face all fears a thousand times, get up off our knees. No pity/no excuses/no handouts. Step back into the jaws of death, heedlessly, a million times if we must, until we take back the soul of what we should have been (and can again be)---had we not been taken advantage of in the worst of ways.
In the end, when it time to meet our final day, we are respected in the company of our ancestors, the best of them, those who had measured up in earlier life. This is judgment. No angels, no pies in the sky, no milk and honey, no virgins, no chosen people, no fairy-tales, no toothfairies, no more actions without planning and preparation. Just truth, justice, fairness and accountability in this world.
This is Maat. This is what our ancients in Kmt practiced. This is what we must relearn.
Skill is the essence of the movement to improve; movement is driven by purpose, purpose is direction feuled by focus and precision. Precision is effort toward perfection.
Maat is justice, balance, rightness, discipline and direction.
Self-cultivation requires discipline, humility, honesty and self respect.
Work hard, be honest, give your best, and be perfect in effort daily.
Show humility; strive for perfection, do the best job that you can do.
With skill, preparation, discipline and perseverance, you can reach any goal.
Overcoming fear is freedom; overcoming guilt comes from giving your best to all that you do.
Discipline will liberate you from bad habits; honest will free you from guilt and shame.
Effort will move you toward perfection. Perfection is having given all that you had, having done the best you could under the circumstances, having gotten the most out of yourself.
Be perfect, in this world and in this lifetime.
You are measured by what you do---not prayers, not pleadings, not how many times you drop to your knee, not how many times you say you are sorry.
Live Maat so that your heart may be judged light as a feather.
Judgment comes.

MAAT CODE OF LIFE We have the moral and historical obligation to professionally organize our misery, our suffering, our enslavement, and our exploitation, not merely to end this miserable condition but to give new meaning to this life, to make dreams come true, to give new hope, to love and live again without the pain, to feel life beyond the storms, to feed our hungry, clothes those naked, to shelter the homeless, educate the ignorant, to create wings that fly, to make wrongs right, to pick up those who fall, to lift those who lost their reach, to strengthen those who are weak, to lend voice to those unable to speak, eyes to those who cannot see, legs to those who cannot walk, and heart to those who are in fear. Our obligation is to carry this out scientifically in accordance with the ancient moral principles of Maat. |

Thirteen Firsts
Good beginning for women and men 1. First know, love and respect oneself, then another. Love self first. 2. First love your own as you would yourself, then others. 3. First women and children, then women equally with men. Women and children first. 4. First love, marry, and care for children, because the good of the family outweighs the individual. Family first. 5. First the heart, then the head with hands. A moral, mental, and martial life is sacred. Maat first. 6. First deeds, then words. Works determines worth. Deeds first. 7. First the inner, then the outer. Salvation lay within. Internal first. 8. First the fundamentals, then their derivatives. Fundamentals first. 9. First the strong, the sound, the resilient, the righteous, the proven, the dedicated-the very best, then the weak. Strength first. 10. First the small, then the vast. Small first. 11. First criticize and correct self, then others. Self-correction first. 12. First rely on and defend self, then others. Self-reliance first. 13. First spiritual character, then scientific practice. Wisdom first. |

15 Paths Never to Cross
[What is a more precious moment than to have lived life so honorably that you would pass on and be elected to the Great Council of Ancestors and upon being granted acceptance, you would be granted permission to ask council members if there is anything that you could give them in exchange for everything that they have given to us...] 1. Never stray from the Great Path. Always place the Great Cause at the very center of your very existence. MA'AT 2. Never serve those who have harmed you as agent, snitch, stooge, stool-pigeon, or one who has sold their soul. What can one sell in exchange for one's soul? Nothing, for one's soul is priceless, the very essence of life and living. With a soul we are invincible, without it we are the slaves of the world, over and over again. 3. Never raise alien culture, religion, or way of life above MA'AT high culture. Break forever with the corrupt ways of those who have historically harmed us. Never grovel to them again. Always defend the righteous, honorable and progressive qualities of one's own MA'AT culture first. 4. Never take liberties with women, or children. Marry: abide by the principle of one woman, one man; one husband, one wife. Never commit adultery. Never abandon family responsibilities. Never molest children, never beat women, never live down low, never commit violence against family members unless in self defense. Children are the 100 percent responsibility of the father, and the 100 percent responsibility of the mother, and are to be cared for at all cost: no exceptions, no excuses. What can one sell in exchange for one's family? Nothing, for our families are priceless---the very essence of all that is good in life. 5. Never gossips, spread lies, use foul language, slander, never disrespect those who have earned respect, never dishonor those who are honorable, or drag the good name of good people through the mud. For a good name is like a precious jewel---priceless. Talk and preaching is cheap; judge people on what they do in this world. 6. Never exaggerate success or failure, never make up lies, never release the secrets promised to be kept, never give your word and not keep it. What can one sell in exchange for betrayal? Nothing, for no scale can balance betrayal. 7. Never lie; keep your promises, keep your word. Promises are to be forever clad in steel, never to be broken. 8. Never support any liquor store, crack house, gambling house, whorehouse, or den of thieves. Never, smoke, drink alcohol, fornicate, prostitute, pimp, play games of chance, or deal in drug use or sale. What can one give in exchange for the millions of innocent Black souls crippled by vices? Nothing, for vice has lengthened the severity and intensity of our race's oppression. 9. Never showboat, boast, or brag. Talk is empty; deeds speak with silent voices. Egotism, male domination, opportunism, ambition, selfishness, cowardice, laziness, lateness, flashiness, filthiness, clowning and disorganization are never to be tolerated. Always honor perfection, persistence, scientific know-how and morality. 10. Never cheat, engage in deceit, deception, or unequal exchange. Always return alike all that is lent, repay all debts in full, admit all mistakes, repent, ask forgiveness, promise not to commit the same wrong again, honor redemptive sacrifice, and pay just restitution. 11. Never, never accept anything that an enemy says on its own merit; carefully study the phenomena yourself. Never defend, promote, or honor anyone that unjustly harms you. Never accept handouts, form alliances, friendships, or intimate relationships with historical enemies. 12. Never allow injustice to go without just, timely, and heedless remedy. The goal is balance and fairness. The path is Maat. The vehicle is will. As such, all debts are to be paid in full, and all sacred accounts are to be settled. 13. Never fight empty battles wherein you have not lifted yourself beyond defeat. Always plan, prepare, and make absolutely certain that you will win; then use overwhelming will to ensure victory without excuses. 14. Never disobey a parent's just orders; follow all valid orders to the letter, and fully honor all agreements with only your very best effort. If you bring forth all that is good within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth all that is within you, what you do not bring forth will surely destroy you. 15. Never deviate from the path of Maat. Serve in this life as you would serve if you had an afterlife, with honesty, hard-work, kindness, honor, perfection, balance, self respect, and above all, love for justice, freedom, and independence. Everything is to be done strictly by the books, always taking our principles as the starting point. |

21 Daily Routines
1. Meditate on the 42 Confessions and recommit daily to the sacred KMT Oath. For virtue sustains the soul as muscles sustain the body. 2. Awaken after no more than six hours, and honor the inner Ancestors for another day. For the body is healthy when it follows the soul's inner light. 3. Discuss no earthly matters before morning meditation. For each day should be planned and protected with tenderness, and shielded with fierce solitude. 4. Finish morning workouts, including stretches, sit ups and pushups and martial conditioning exercises. For in strength we overcome all weakness. 5. Clean self and surroundings, carefully attending to personal hygiene; neatly fixing hair naturally; applying natural oils, perfumes, and fragrances; organizing personal environment; and maintaining an organized and clean household. For beautiful are they who are what they are, and who love who they are. 6. Implement a positive dress code, dressing neatly and presenting self clean, fresh, and alert. For in dress and in deeds we are not the same as we were. 7. Eat fresh fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, herbs, spices, and fish; consume water, natural juices, and oils, and take one natural multi-vitamin. For in order to wage a successful war of improvement it is necessary to be fit. 8. Finish all scheduled assignments on time. For whom much is given, much is expected. 9. Maintain a daily self-journal, pausing each day and night to reflect on the guiding principles and whether commitments were upheld. For a healthy soul cannot develop in a corrupt body. 10. Keep one day of silence (6 straight hours) per week; Fast and cleanse once a week on the date of birth, 3 days at the end of each third month, the last 3 days and nights of the last month of the year, and first 3 days of the New Year. For inner sacrifice is redemptive. 11. Practice directness, eye-to-eye contact, concentration, focus, and frankness with oneself and others, cherishing scientific knowledge and the spiritual character to use it. For we are to be patterned after the strength and wisdom of a brave warrior. 12. Practice honesty, justice, rightness, and good for their own sake and do not expect rewards for them on earth. For efforts of the soul are more lasting than those of the body. 13. Listen with patience and seek real answers in a relentless quest of truth, taking reality as a starting point. For wisdom governs passions, but fools merely obey them. 14. Be calm and of a serene temper while understanding one's own mistakes, honestly admitting them, and correcting oneself. For one corrects one's own errors by quietly observing them in others. 15. Hear people out, give them their day in court, listen carefully, study each situation, draw conclusions based on the facts, and act based on evidence. For wrong doing to others follows us as shadows follow a body. 16. Seek accurate information and read books voraciously; for books are a cornerstone of the universe, the very source of life-changing knowledge. For knowledge is power; and except for power, all is illusion. 17. Behave in a manner that is kind but frank, quiet but direct, tough yet gentle, disciplined yet independent, scientific yet spiritual, comprehensive yet focused. For one can often accomplish by kindness with another what cannot be accomplished by force. 18. Be righteous in all thoughts, actions, and interactions; speak and teach respectfully-direct, clear, short, and precise, (i.e., yes sir, and yes madam) with no curse words or obscene gestures. For accurate information is a path to freedom-the means to escape deception and exploitation. 19. Practice mannerisms that are probing, concentrating, concerned, careful, direct, focused, honorable, and open minded. For in behaving honorably, we teach our own to reach for the light continually. 20. Judge according to deeds; keep all promises; keep word; honored responsibilities-make sure that any environment or situation is left in better condition than when first entered. For deeds are the measure of life and living. 21. Live this day for the greatest good, never seeking worldly honors and riches, for in death wealth is left behind but virtues live on forever. |
