</a>
										<div>

These are just some private notes:

I'm not a Conservative or a Liberal, yet in some areas i'm Conservative and some areas Liberal

This is based on the recent topics of race, social programs, and the weight on government spending and taxes.

This article may come off very liberal but this is just half of the story, I believe I have some of the solutions, the solutions IMO will not come from being dependent on government programs per se and will generate tax dollars

Statistics IMO can be and are deliberately misleading, these stats were are to find

"61 percent of welfare recipients are White, while 33 percent are Black, according to Census Bureau statistics, the latest figures available"

[What about "corporate welfare, tax loopholes, and the bail-out? should the government not take care of the businesses?]

Based on the 2009 TOTAL population of each respective race in the United States, it is:

37.8% white* (37.8% of the white population is on welfare)

27.78% black* (27.78% of the black population is on welfare)

15.47% Hispanic* ** (15.47% of the Hispanic population is on welfare)

I'm a progressive conservative and a cautious liberal, in some area's i'm conservative in others i'm liberal

I don't believe the government has a right to tell you who to marry and what to do with ourselves, as wrong as I might think it is or against my religion and faith, I will share my opinion with others if ask but I adhere to my own faith, i believe others have a right to their own beliefs and actions as long as it doesn't infringe on others, and some beliefs and actions do impact others.

As a Christian (Ausarian) I'm not conservative when it comes to Love, I believe in Social Justice, Equality, and to Love one another, wealth and abundance for all, the differences is perhaps how we get there and how we define it.

Taxes and money are a big issue, also governance of law and equality are very important, there big government is good. Taxes are important as well but more important is how it's allocated, I don't want my money going to war and killing others for gas and oil, though I may be naive in how the real world works, I believe in world peace. Defense and national security are very important. just IMO not excessive greed and exploitation of others.

We have to ask ourselves what's good for the planet and mother earth, individually and socially, us and the world. I have serious issues with the Social Justice System and Prisons and discrepancies of poverty, race, and racism, with poverty being a direct correlation to crime, lack of education, and inequality. So when we say every man for himself, that's really not true in some ways we are reliant upon everyone else, that's fine on an individual level, but not so much on a social level. So yes in some cases i believe the government should step in and help others.

I think health care, food, clothing, shelter, and education are important.

I believe money itself is a problem, I believe there's an alternative solution Money and market's stock exchange rule and run our lives when it should be the other way around, that's by working together

Zen of Oz, Ruby Slippers: Spiritual Lessons From Oz
http://people.tribe.net/chaz/blog/e84a0757-4354-45d2-9c14-86f2faf72919

Never Let Those Ruby Slippers Off Your Feet

Your are born with an inner spark. This inner spark gives you a potentially radiant character and the capability of knowing, loving, and spiritually communicating with the creative intelligence of the universe. You are endowed with infinite potential for goodness and greatness. You have the free will to discover your inner spark and your cosmic purpose or the free will to extinguish your inner spark.

The ruby slippers actually represent the inner spark within us all. In Dorothy's dream, Glinda the Good Witch of the North, is Dorothy's mother. She travels in a pink bubble, reminiscent of the womb. She gives Dorothy the ruby slippers -- made, incidentally, from the rarest and costliest of gemstones -- a physical reminder of the value of Dorothy's inner spark, the breath of life. Then she watches over Dorothy from afar, like a spirit.

When Glinda tells Dorothy, "Never let those ruby slippers off your feet," she is actually telling Dorothy to never give up her passion, her individuality, her uniqueness, her spirit, her soul -- in short, her inner spark.

Think about it. After Dorothy crash-lands in Munchkinland, Glinda explains that Dorothy's house landed on the Wicked Witch of the East, killing the tyrant who ruled Munchkin land. The Munchkins, relieved to discover that Dorothy isn't a witch at all, sing Dorothy's praises.

Unfortunately, the Wicked Witch of the West, who shows up in an ominous cloud of red smoke, doesn't share the Munchkin's joy. "Who killed my sister?" she demands. "Who killed the Witch of the East?" Was it you?"

"No-no -- it was an accident," pleads Dorothy. "I didn't mean to kill anyone."

When the Wicked Witch of the West threatens to cause an accident too, Glinda diverts her attention. "Aren't you forgetting the ruby slippers?" she asks. The Wicked Witch races over to the fallen house to snatch the slippers from her dead sister's feet, but the ruby slippers suddenly vanish. Her sister's feet, clad in only black-and-white striped socks, quickly shrivel up under the house. Without her inner spark, she completely withers away.

Glinda points her wand at the ruby slippers, now on Dorothy's feet. "There they are," she tells the Wicked Witch of the West, "and there they'll stay."

"Give me back my slippers!" demands the Wicked Witch of the West. "I'm the only one who knows how to use them. They're of no use to you!"

"Keep tight inside of them," Glinda instructs Dorothy. "Their magic must be very powerful, or she wouldn't want them so badly."

Glinda pretends to know very little about the ruby slippers, but she obviously knows a lot more about their magical powers than she reveals. Otherwise, she would never bring them to the Wicked Witch's attention in the first place or magically whisk them onto Dorothy's feet. How much more does Glinda know about the ruby slippers' true nature? And why won't she share this information with Dorothy, a girl she obviously wishes to protect?

When Glinda disappears in her pink bubble, Dorothy is left to figure out the power of the ruby slippers for herself. All she knows is that the Wicked Witch is obsessed with obtaining them. We never learn why the Wicked Witch doesn't have a pair of sparkling red shoes like those worn by her sister.

Maybe the Wicked Witch of the West was jealous of her sister. Maybe she needs the ruby slippers to overcome that unresolved sibling rivalry. Maybe that's their "magical" power. The fact that she cannot kill Dorothy as long as the Kansas girl is wearing the ruby slippers proves that the shoes are more than just an ordinary pair of sequined red high heels.

One things is certain. The Wicked Witch of the West extinguished her inner spark long before Dorothy arrives in Oz, explaining why, as Glinda insists, she is much worse than her late sister. The Wicked Witch of the East may have been evil, but at least she still wore a physical reminder of her inner spark on her feet. Maybe that's why the Wicked Witch of the East did not subjugate the Munchkins as cruelly as her sister from the West suppresses the blue-faced Winged Monkeys and the green-faced, uniformed Winkies who guard her castle.

The Wicked Witch of the West wants the ruby slippers not so she can rekindle her own inner spark. She wants the ruby slippers so "my power will be the greatest in Oz!" Her hunger for power, however, is a sign of insecurity. What the Wicked Witch is rally chasing after is security. But security does not come from power.

Security comes from self-love -- knowing your true essence, your cosmic purpose, the pure potential of your spiritual being, not by controlling the lives of others. By choosing a life of righteousness, you come closer to the creative force of the universe, fanning the flames of your inner spark. By choosing wickedness, you distance yourself from the creative force of the universe, extinguishing your inner spark.

Bitterly jealous of Dorothy's youthful, impassioned, loving spirit, the Wicked Witch tries to extinguish Dorothy's inner spark to make the Kansas girl as lonely and miserable as she is. When the Winged Monkeys bring Dorothy to the Witch's castle, the Witch puts Toto in a basket, just like the one used by Miss Gulch. She threatens to have the Winged Monkeys drop the basket in the river and drown Toto -- unless Dorothy gives her the ruby slippers. Just like vindictive Miss Gulch, the Wicked Witch of the West plans to destroy Toto to kill Dorothy's spirit.

Embittered people who have extinguished their own inner spark justify their miserable existence by trying to extinguish the inner spark in others. But when the Wicked Witch of the West reaches for the ruby slippers, "sparks" fly from the shoes, giving the green-skinned witch a well-deserved electric shock. "Fool that I am!" she yells, "I should have remembered! Those slippers will never come off . . . as long as you're alive!"

Life is filled with people trying to get you down in the same hole that they're in. Teachers, politicians, bosses, even parents and friends, may try to rob you or your integrity, your passion, your reputation, your spirit, your cosmic purpose. They're no better than the Wicked Witch of the West trying to steal Dorothy's ruby slippers off your feet -- unless you let them. All you need to do is heed Glinda's words of warning. Never let those ruby slippers off your feet.

After Dorothy throws a bucket of water at the Wicked Witch, accidentally liquidating her, everyone forgets about the ruby slippers -- until the Wizard takes off in his hot-air balloon with out Dorothy. Glinda floats down in her pink bubble and tells Dorothy, "You've always had the power to go back to Kansas."

"Then why didn't you tell her before?" demands the Scarecrow, failing to use his brain.

"Because she wouldn't have believed me," explains Glinda. "She had to learn it for herself."

In other words, Dorothy had to discover her cosmic purpose, her intrinsic nature, her spiritual essence, on her own.

Dorothy agrees. "If I ever go looking for my heart's desire again, I won't look any further than my own backyard," she cryptically tells her friends, "because if it isn't there, I never really lost it to begin with."

The answers are within, not handed to you on a silver platter by a wizard or a witch. As Dorothy learns, discovering your cosmic purpose brings you home to your true nature, empowering you and your ruby slippers. And the way to discover your cosmic purpose, to achieve Oneness with your spiritual essence, is to follow the Yellow Brick Road.

Christ is not one individual person. Christ is not Jesus's last name. Christ is a principle and an attitude of unification. Christ is a word signifying a position of leadership (a job description) given to certain divine individuals whose task it is to initiate great harmony through a process of magnetic attraction.

Christ is an energy pattern that blends diverse and opposite polarities into integrated wholeness. In humanity's case, the polarities to be unified are Spirit (Father, divine masculine) and matter (Mother, divine feminine). Christ is another word of the Soul, that point of light between, yet containing both, Spirit and matter.

Christ is the Path home that blooms within us, felt first as a seeking and an aspiration for something greater than ourselves. Later this aspiration transforms into Love; for family, partner, nature, community, knowledge, and God. Christ is the principle that aspires, pursues, reaches, finds, and eventually blends with that which we are seeking.

The Christ principle originates in the star Sirius, blends its streams of blue, orange, and green electrical fires with a particular star in the Big Dipper called Ray 2. From this star ray the cosmic fiery force penetrates Pisces, and then enters our Sun, where the originating energy is transformed into magnetic radiations of light which fall to Earth. On Earth, Christ is the point of divine fire in all living things.

The purpose of this inner fire is to connect Spirit (the unseen) with matter (the seen). In nature, this Christ principle gives life its cosmic rhythm, the result of which is an ever-present, coherent life force. This point of life, connecting Spirit with matter, is the pure, radiant, harmonious vibration called the Soul.</div>

Achieving Christ Consciousness with Isochronic Tones

What is Christ Consciousness

Despite the name, Christ Consciousness is not really a religious concept, and it is relevant to everyone, not just Christians. Christ Consciousness is really about raising your awareness to a higher level and feeling an awakening deep within yourself.

This process of self awakening connects you to the spiritual source, or the higher consciousness, and it allows you to evolve. This evolutionary development is the first and most important step to reaching Christ Consciousness.

Christ Consciousness and Evolutionary Development

This concept of evolution does not refer to the Darwinian concept of natural selection of species over time, but rather it is referring to the development of the individual. Personal evolution occurs when you achieve a greater state of mind by communicating with the higher consciousness. This high level of evolutionary development is what forms the basis of Christ Consciousness.

All religions value the virtues of patience, kindness, truthfulness, humility, forgiveness, and inner peace. It is clear why all religions agree that these aspects are the most important in human life. Christ Consciousness embodies these virtues, and you can learn from it by understanding yourself better and embracing a better lifestyle.

You will learn to embrace these virtues in your every day life. We can sometimes judge ourselves too harshly, but by achieving Christ Consciousness, we can understand how to embrace peace in ourselves.

Learning How to Achieve Christ Consciousness with Isochronic Tones

Isochronic Tones can help you condition your mind and reach a higher state of consciousness quickly and easily. By tuning to an exact upper beta frequency, Christ Consciousness recordings are designed to bring you into a state of harmony.

Christ Consciousness occurs at a higher level of awakening and evolutionary development, and these recordings will help you tune your mind to the higher frequencies that are necessary to achieve these states. Spiritual knowledge and higher learning come naturally while in this state, and you will find it easier to experience the high level of awakening that slowly leads to evolutionary development.

The process is slow, but with a lot daily practice using these recordings, you will come closer to achieving Christ Consciousness. When the mind is tuned to the high frequency beta waves on a regular basis, it will become easier to achieve the high level of self awakening that will lead to a deep spiritual development.

http://pathwaytoascension.wordpress.com/2011/11/30/one-god-a-message-of-preparation-for-2012/

NOTE: Although I posted this message earlier this year, I am re-posting it with a different slant. To truly know Creator God and ourselves as “made in God’s image” is essential as we prepare for 2012. Because December 21, 2012 marks the end of an approximate 26,000 years cycle, called the Precession of Equinoxes, Earth humans have the opportunity to ascend en masse from the 3rd dimensional plane of duality to the 5th dimensional plane of Love &amp; Light.

Most of us will do so while in our physical bodies, that are presently being transformed into crystalline bodies by the intense influx of spiritual energies onto our planet. We prepare for ascension by setting aside the old belief system of separation from God and allowing the New Truth of made in the image of God to saturate our conscious awareness and activities.

---------------------

Our ability, to assist in bringing forth the Kingdom of God within ourselves and on our planet, depends first and foremost on understanding who God is (to the best of our present ability to do so). The Apostle Paul explained his concept of God to the people of Athens. Metaphysically, Athens signifies the intellectual center within humankind.

The people in Athens had erected an altar inscribed: “This is the altar of the unknown God.” Paul recognized that even though the Athenians did not know God, they felt the urge to worship something greater than they could conceive with their intellectual minds. Paul explains in Acts 17:24-28:

“For the God who made the world and all things therein, and who is the Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; neither is he ministered to by human hands, nor is he in need of anything, for it is he who gave life and breath to all humankind. And he has made of one blood all nations of human beings to dwell on all the face of the earth, and he has appointed seasons by his command, and has set limits to the age of men and women; for in him we live and move and have our being, as some of your wise men have said, ‘For we are his kindred.’”

God is above and beyond all else and present everywhere. As omnipresent Spirit, God created all that is, in its original manifestation; God is First Cause and original Source. The allegorical story of the Garden of Eden is an example of the Goodness and Love with which God creates. God provided for all of Adam and Eve’s needs; they lived in the luxury and beauty of paradise.

God walked with and talked with them. The channels of vision and direct hearing were open to Adam and Eve. God was their companion and friend. Negativity and pain were unknown. They had no doubt as to their origin: they came forth from the heart and mind of God. They wore the clothes of spirit; they were spirit.

In this Garden of Eden, all things were created from the divine substance. God beheld all of creation and declared, “It is Good.” God creates because God is Creator. All that God creates become co-creators. Creation is an on-going process and the energy of creation is within all things. Look at nature: seeds create plants … plants create leaves, flowers, and fruit … stars create new stars … stars create light … rivers create beds through which to flow … birds create nests … animals create offspring according to their kind … human beings create children … the process of creation stretches throughout eternity. All things are interconnected; all of creation impacts upon all other facets of creation. The life-giving energy within all things is God energy … divine energy … love energy. GOD IS ALL THAT IS. SEPARATION DOES NOT EXIST. BECAUSE GOD IS LOVE, ALL THINGS ARE LOVED.</div>

GETTING TO KNOW SELF THROUGH ASTROLOGY

http://pathwaytoascension.wordpress.com/2011/12/08/getting-to-know-self-through-astrology/

2012 is to be a year in that we get to know self in preparation for Earth, and those inhabitants who so choose, to ascend to higher dimensions of consciousness.

There are many avenues of assistance in getting to know self. As a professional counselor who used astrology as a counseling tool, I know first hand that astrology far exceeds all other methods. Using the client’s astrological natal chart allows very precise, detailed information regarding him/her as a unique individual.

As a professional counselor, I had access to and could compare the results of standardized personality tests with the natal chart. The two are like nursery school and graduate school in the amount of individualized information they provide. A standardized test report reads much like a copy of the report on a previous client. The same is true of all other standardized means of testing or knowing self.</div>

Ever wonder what your spiritual purpose is, what your soul has in mind for you? As our personalities evolve, we grow beyond our Sun signs and into our RISING SIGNS. Just in case you don't know what a rising sign is, it is the sign of the zodiac that was rising on the eastern horizon at the moment you were born. Sometimes called the ASCENDING SIGN or the ASCENDANT, it sets the keynote for your soul's purpose.

EXOTERIC ASTROLOGY is the astrology of the personality, while ESOTERIC ASTROLOGY is the astrology of the soul. Esoteric astrology concerns itself not only with the soul's purpose, but also with the process by which the personality becomes the soul's instrument. According to the Tibetan Master Djwhal Khul in Alice Bailey's Esoteric Astrology, this astrology of the soul will eventually supersede present-day astrology.

An Esoteric Journey Through the Zodiac presents the meanings of the zodiacal signs from the perspective of the soul's evolutionary path. Spiritual Initiations, paths of evolution, and planes of manifestation are discussed, followed by elaborations on the spiritual significance of each sign. Discover your spiritual journey, your challenges, your fulfillment - your soul's underlying motivations - by reading about your rising sign

Phoenix Rises in 2012

http://www.shirleymaclaine.com/articles/astrology/article-341

The very close alignment of the Sun and Pluto sets the pace for the coming year for seeing in a new and profound way with greater expectation of systems that work whatever they may be from the way life is lived at home to world governments. At the least, Pluto is about truth and in its greater manifestation transformation and rebirth.

If ever New Year resolutions are followed through with, those decided now are based on strong conviction and are the ones that will make a difference. This week planetary rays suggest emotion will be examined with tenacity and determination of overcoming anything negative due to the way they are rising to the surface to take prominence in the conscious mind.

This edgy reality comes from Mercury and Mars that also is incorporated into ideas and plans for 2012. Each year has its own astrology chart that changes from location to location making the chart for Greenwich Mean Time in England look different for one calculated for Washington D.C.

By: Sandra Helton

http://www.shirleymaclaine.com/articles/astrology/article-341

The planetary angles are much the same but the influences shift depending on longitude and latitude. Just like people, nations and cities have birth charts. Overall the major influence of Pluto will continue to be influential bringing transformation to all structures in society from laws to leaders.

As it conjuncts the Sun in Capricorn this week it lays out a platform from that much will be based – change continuing, significant truths and validation for people and what matters to them. You will seek this for yourself and strive to make your life a statement of what you believe. Uranus helps you to maintain your independent stance in the scheme of what happens around you or that you hear in the news.

Mercury, planet of communication in stark alignment to Mars on Sunday causes intensity around what is discussed turning some issues into all out debates. Realization of who feels what is coming at you full force that calls for you to think carefully about how you react. Take your time so that you are sure of what you say and do and stay out of anything that seems like war.

A great way to transform this sensitive energy is to recognize within yourself what irritates you and what upsets you so that you may transform the energy to a workable process of change. It is best to contemplate sensitivities to find avenues to release pent up energy and to know more about your motivations.</div>

decade after Jesus/Yeshua, Julius Caesar, renamed December 25th as the new winter solstice. However, astronomers and realists continue to recognize December 21st as the actual winter solstice.

While it is the general consensus that Jesus did exist, many people conveniently choose to remain in complete denial over the physiological and socio-political reality of this great man’s existence. Born in the year 4 CE (current era), Jesus was a simple, down-to-earth, roots man. It was written that Jesus is African because he said, “My skin is black… (Job). Others said, “His hair was like lamb’s wool…” (Rev)

Jesus was a black activist. He protested relentlessly against Rome’s foreign occupation, excessive taxation, political domination, uncivilized injustice, and materialistic greed. Poised on the edge of Kemet (ancient Egypt) in black Africa, Jesus did not hesitate to promulgate his disdain for Rome’s colonization of his homeland.

Then, as today, such people were/are considered enemies of the state. Therefore, the Roman government considered him a subversive and a threat to Roman interest$. In short, Jesus was condemned and crucified because he sought to empower the disenfranchised, poor masses of society.

We respect and honor Jesus because he stood for people over profit. His political views were steeped in social justice and economic equality. He identified with the exploited and disrespected members of society because he was a person of great honor, integrity, and compassion. Although Jesus is rarely represented as a dirt-poor, African/black, revolutionary, he is still considered the most famous human being and iconic figure to ever walk the earth.

So while we’re busy getting caught up in the commercialism of the season, remember the bravery of Jesus and the endless list of other brave freedom fighters, political prisoners, POWs, activists, and revolutionaries who willingly and unselfishly sacrificed, and continue to sacrifice their lives so that we might enjoy ours today. Peace on earth and goodwill towards all hue-mans!

CAPRICORN- STILLNESS

WINTER SOLSTICE

by Gururattan K. Khalsa, Ph.D. "Rattana"
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NMBeing/message/7

Stillness is the winter of our spiritual journey. It is the time
to disentangle ourselves from situations that are
creating confusion
zapping our energy
leading us astray
to identify where we block ourselves and evaluate our life situation.

Standstill is a Divine directive
to stop all our activities
to observe what is happening
to be with what is so
to get in touch with the Truth.

When we stand still we can
calm down
achieve clarity
consciously connect
consolidate our energy
establish a powerful presence.

Stand still is the antidote to agitation.
Agitation is born from dissatisfaction.
Dissatisfaction breeds impatience.
Impatience spawns frustration.
Frustration depletes our energy.

In silent stillness
we become aware of the tight restraints under that we live
we discern where the pay back is not adequate for the energy spent
we are in touch with our emotions and thoughts that create incongruities
we recognize our power to create a space that attracts to us what we want.

Stillness is a time of withdrawal, where we
look at what we are doing
assess the implications of our actions
sacrifice our illusions
submit to our higher guidance
surrender to the Divine.

Withdrawal is a time to patiently accept
the death of the old
the gestation of the new
the process of growth called life.

*****

Winter Solstice is the time to reach within instead of out. It is a time
to examine and release outmoded habits
to shed and cleanse the debre in our environments and in our minds
to discover what we are holding on to that we best relinquish
to reconnect with our inner life
to reaffirm what is real and sacred
to sacrifice our ego for our Soul.

The end of the year is a time of acceptance, not of blame.
It is a time of observation, not of judgment.
It is a time of awareness, not of stubborn will.
It is a time wisdom, not of judgment.
It is a time of courage, not of fear.

The dawn of the new year is a time of change, not of retrenchment.
It is a time of transformation, not denial.
It is a time of prayer, not self-pity.
It is a time to trust, not to doubt.
It is a time to express gratitude for all our blessings.

The last act of this year's play is a time to examine our impatience and to
cultivate our ability
to be still, so we can connect
to accept, so we can ascertain
to let go, so we can know
to surrender, so we can be assisted
to die, so we can be reborn.

*****

To be truly still is to relinquish control.
When we do so, we realize that something is transpiring
that we are not in charge of
that exists independent of our personal will
that is eternal and all-pervasive
that consistently continues no matter what we do or do not do.

In total stillness we connect to our foundation.
We find our roots.
We achieve stability.
We anchor ourselves on solid ground.
We are aware that our body is our sacred home.

In effortless stillness we turn our attention to our Self.
We discover our core.
We are reduced to zero.
Beyond the "I" we discover the "Am".

*****

Stillness is experienced inside. Inside is where
we explore
we discover
we create.

From our inner stillness is birthed
energy
excitement
joy and
action.

From our inner stillness
guidance is received
our vision becomes clear
our plan unfolds
our seeds are sown
our roots grow.

The goal of stillness is to attain peace. From stillness
we connect with our inner power
we mobilize our inner resources
we align our energy for action
we move from a place of eternal Oneness.

The gifts of stillness are
effortless control
expanded containment
unquestioned contentment.

For deep within our solitude
we are restored
we are renewed
the ice melts and spring is born.
We wake up to find ourselves standing
silently
peacefully
joyfully
in the center of our own heart.

CAPRICORN UP THE MOUNTAIN

the Sun moves into Capricorn we celebrate Winter Solstice, the longest
night and shortest day of the year. (in the Northern Hemisphere) we
stand still, the timeless cord of silence rings in our hearts. the cold
winter sets in, and we get in touch with our deep insecurities, we light the
Yuletide fires to warm our bodies and brighten our spirits. the Sun

emerges from its sleep, we rejoice at the fact that the days will now become
longer. We feel spiritually regenerated as "the dark night of the soul"
fades into the past and we get ready to celebrate the New Year. It is a
time of endings and beginnings, cleansing and renewal. Scorpio's death and

rebirth are very much an inner process. Capricorn announces its commitment
to a new life, a New Year and now a new century and a new millennium, in the
open air, to the whole world, on the summit of the mountain.

As the Sun moves through the Zodiac, we are all influenced by the energy and
modalities of that particular sign. We are all and under the guidance of
that part of "Heaven" for approximately 28 days. While the Sun was in
Sagittarius we may have felt excited and restless. Capricorn gives us a
moment of time out, especially during the holiday season, to regroup,

re-evaluate our lives, to consolidate our energy and in January to get back
to work. While the Sun is in Capricorn from December 21 through January 19,
it is wise to take advantage of the stable moment of the Earth energy to
assess our past and design our future. We won't get this close to the Earth
until the Sun (and this year 6 other Planets!!) move into Taurus in May.

EARTH SIGNS

Capricorn is the most stoic of the Earth Signs (Taurus and Virgo are the
others.) The Earth signs deal with matter and material reality where we
Souls get together to carry out our human experience. The Earth element is
concerned with the laws and workings of the physical plane and how to direct
energy to create in the most solid dimension of reality.

In the physical world our efforts, mistakes, actions and thoughts produce
tangible results. Tangible techniques and tools are required to survive and
thrive on Planet Earth. For Capricorn these tools typically include
self-discipline, caution, thrift, perseverance and hard work.

The Earth signs are associated with physical resources, the environment,
money, work, security, basic needs, service and achievement. *(1) The Earth
signs are also related to the five senses and sensations. The Earth signs
perceive reality through the rational mind, i.e. what they observe, hear,
taste and touch and through their sensations, i.e. what they feel in their
bodies.

The Earth element poses challenges, tests and lessons in relation to

* the physical health and comfort of our bodies
* the ability to support and care for ourselves
* competence in finding and creating meaningful work which unitizes ourunique talents and skills
* contribute to sustaining a healthy personal and collective environment and our willingness to act responsibly and to express authority in our own lives.

Capricorn teaches that to feel useful, we must each offer our unique
contribution to the collective whole of which we are an integral part. We
establish our sense of worth by offering our service. We are rewarded

The teachings of KMT there is a rich and powerful esoteric significance behind the solstices and equinoxes—one that has many levels of meaning.

The solstices and equinoxes are about the transition of the sun, that at a natural level, is related to natural rhythms and cycles of that we are all a part and nourished—from the transitions of our physical body from birth to death, to the progressions of life and the seasons that both give and take away, to the course of our planet through the cosmos and our relationship with other celestial bodies in the universe, all with their own external and internal influence upon our world and psyche.

It is also to do with solar and lunar aspects of ourselves, with our own inner light and darkness, with personal transformation—from inner death to spiritual rebirth through fire, through alchemy. It is to do with our relationship with divinity, to our journey through inner night and darkness to reach the light within, to incarnate the spiritual within ourselves, and to resurrect and ascend.

Connect with the Heavens and the Earth by Celebrating Solstice

Solstices and equinoxes are a time of connection between the heavens and the earth, the personal and the divine, the inner and the outer, the material and the spiritual, and even a time when contact through mystical experiences is made more possible. It is a beautiful time, which unfortunately we as a humanity have lost touch with, as did other cultures who degenerated in the past and lost their esoteric aspect. And we have also lost touch with nature as a whole.

Let’s take part in ceremonies to celebrate the solstice and to extract from and use the event for its higher purpose—to connect ourselves with the divine, to worship it on a personal and cosmic level, and take strength and mystical experiences from it to help us toward awakening.

Solstice means “sun stands still,” as both around the winter and summer solstices, the sun appears to stay steady, changing little in its incremental journey through the sky for around 3 days, before beginning either to move visibly to the North or to the South.

The December solstice will occur at 5:30 Universal Time on December 22, 2011. It is also known as the winter solstice in the northern hemisphere and the summer solstice in the southern hemisphere due to the seasonal differences.

The 2012 December solstice will be on December 21, 2012. Many prophecies about the end of the world surround this date because it corresponds to the last day of the Mayan calendar.

The Spiritual Meaning of the Winter Solstice

http://www.belzebuubteachings.com/2011/the-spiritual-meaning-of-the-winter-solstice/

There is a profound spiritual significance to the winter solstice. The winter solstice has formed a central part of spiritual beliefs throughout the world since the beginning of history—in ancient Egypt as the birth of HERUHorus/Hero, ‘The Birth of the Unconquered Sun’ in ancient Rome, Yule in old Europe, Yalda in Persia as the birth of Mithras, in ancient Neolithic sites such as Newgrange in Ireland, at the pyramid of the feathered serpent in Chichen Itza Mexico, and as the birth Jesus at Christmas, etc.

All these sites and celebrations share common symbols even though some have been separated by vast distances and time. This gives us a clue that the time of the winter solstice has a deeper spiritual significance that is more universal than most could ever imagine.

This post is one in a series that explores the real spiritual significance of the winter solstice and Christmas to revive a lost spiritual knowledge that is beyond time, culture, and religion, and is just as relevant for us today than it has ever been. The time of winter solstice signifies a stage in the work of spiritual enlightenment, veiled in esoteric symbols, yet at its core is found unified the spirituality of the whole of humankind.

As Above, So Below

Here the alchemist (who transforms the lead of the personality into the gold of the spirit) draws our attention to the relationship between the world contained in the smaller circle in that we find ourselves, and the world contained in the larger circle - that is, between the microcosmic and the macrocosmic, as well as the mathematical principles that apply to both. The alchemist looks above, whilst the figure of the man in the drawing, points below.

It is easy to write ancient spiritual people off as simple-minded nature worshippers. But there is a reason why natural principles are found throughout sacred texts and ancient sites—this is because there are universal principles that govern all of creation, including all life in the largest to the smallest of scales.

Thus we can see the same principles of the macrocosmic movement of the planets, in the microcosmic structure of an atom. Mathematically, in the spiral of a galaxy, we see the spiral of a shell, and the unfolding of a fern. The principles that govern all life above us, also govern life here below on earth.

Going further, not only do the principles of life and creation govern the outer world, but they also govern the inner, spiritual world, which can’t be seen, yet is felt and experienced nevertheless. Spirituality exists in the very fabric of life. Thus when someone studies natural principles, they find spirituality and the supernatural, and why scientists are now discovering other dimensions, parallel universes, and the inexplicable realm of possibilities, energy, and matter, from the study of the behavior and structure of minute particles.

The sun in its movement throughout the course of the year then, becomes a symbol of something much, much greater than a physical object bringing the change of seasons.

This movement of the sun speaks to us and reveals incredible mysteries</div>

You can have all the money, cars, fine luxuries, and companions this world has to offer and still not be happy. Happiness is a state of mind that comes only when you are at peace with yourself and with life; when you are content just to be. It is something that is virtually impossible to obtain without our health.

When we say health, we don’t just mean that you aren’t suffering from a disease. We mean complete and total health. This includes our physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and sexual health. Practicing alternative health is the only real way to achieve this delicate and optimal balance.

When you consider the typical Western lifestyle, there is little wonder why the vast majority of people are unhealthy and unhappy. The problem with this approach is two-fold.Western medical practices:

In alternative health, the goal is always total health. This is done through healthy, natural food choices, meditation, plenty of exercise. If you need a little help along the way, then you can take natural anti-depressant supplements like Anti-Depression Elixir and many other of our elixers. When you have restored your natural balance, happiness will follow.

At DHerbs, that is what we are all about. We offer a wide selection of natural herbal formulas and remedies aimed at healing the whole body rather than just one small part. On our website http://dherbs.com/, you’ll also find informative articles that will help you on your path to alternative health.

This week on Tuesday December 13th, thinking Mercury ends its retrograde pattern. Once again I was pleasantly surprised with the number of synchronicities in my life, compliments of Mercury encouraging me to ‘see this differently’. However, we all tend to feel more in sync when the planet of communication is moving direct enjoy this holiday gift.

The following Tuesday, December 20th Venus leaves conservative and practical Capricorn for the visionary of Aquarius. Love and relationships may take a turn as the planet of love focuses her energy in this cerebral and altruistic sign. Venus in Aquarius awakens individuality and the need to live our lives authentically. Relationships that honor the unique needs of individuals will thrive under this influence.

On Wednesday, December 21st the Sun enters the cardinal sign of Capricorn in the season of Winter in the Northern Hemisphere. The Winter Solstice is associated with tradition and meditation

A final cosmic gift of 2011 comes on December 25th Jupiter the planet of growth, generosity and opportunity ends its 4-month long retrograde cycle and looks forward. Raise a toast situations and people who have expanded your life to come as Jupiter sails through the grounded and comfort-loving sign of Taurus in the first 6 months of 2012.

Jupiter is the god of excess and Taurus loves the comforts of the body, feel free to honor them both. Next year we shall diet! (Just kidding – but we’ll promise ourselves to learn the value of moderation or maybe not!)

Happy Holidays – celebrate your life; nurture yourself and those you love; pay attention to boundaries – know when enough is enough; remember you are divine and you are loved so much more than you can possibly imagine

When John Nakagawa sent us this article we thought for sure it would be another person's perspective on the true meaning of the 11/11/11 phenomenon — until we read it all the way through and realized that it was something else altogether. Don't be fooled by the title.

This is a really personal piece, about what happened to him when he joined together with three close female friends, halfway between the Island of the Sun and the Island of the Moon, to open the Divine Feminine Triangle. On the surface of this story John is talking about his 11/11/11 experience, but underneath it all he is asking us to reflect upon the power of love and the importance of knowing what it truly means to love from the heart.

A lot of people expected something miraculous to totally turn the world around on 11:11:11. When that date came and went and nothing seemed to change, many of us had to sit down and not only question ourselves, but take a long hard look at the ways that in gullibility and expectation make it difficult to be realistic about anything these days.

For those of you who still can't figure out what happened on 11:11:11, the following channeling through Linda Dillon is her version of what Archangel Michael had to say about it. Originally posted on Steve Beckow's website (www.stevebeckow.com) this message from Michael will be of interest to anyone who needs a little help putting their 11:11:11 experience into perspective.

ARCHANGEL MICHAEL

From Steve Beckow and Linda Dillon

Archangel Michael November 16, 2011 through Linda Dillon

Steve: Many people were disappointed that 11.11.11 was described by SaLuSa as a tidal wave of love, but many people seemed to have felt nothing. Can you take a moment out, please, to discuss what did happen on 11.11.11, and why many people would not have apparently felt anything?

Archangel Michael: Yes, I would be pleased to talk about this. Now the 11.11.11, as you know, is an opening, a gateway, but it is also the continuation and part of the completion of the original 12.12. I have spoken of this a great deal, but I will make this brief. When your original 11.11 occurred, it was the opening of the human hearts to love and to expansion of love. In the following year, you had the open of what has been known as 12.12. That was the opening of a portal for balance, but people can't remember because the opening of the portals was so close together. They thought that they had ended, but they had not.

It was not just a year-long event. It is an event that has continued on and will continue on to 2012. So, that energy of the opening of the human hearts to love and opening of the human hearts to be back — well all of the human being — into the place of balance has been going on for a long time.

The portal of 11.11.11 was an intensification of that flow of love. That portal opened wide. Now it was a two-way portal, and, this, I mean that some were permitted, prepared anxious, eager, volunteered to go through that portal into the fifth dimension. Most of those who volunteered and went through, which was less than anticipated, were those who are acting as what we call gatekeepers, assisting those who are in the next wave.

What people were expecting, and this may feel familiar to you, a complete shift in the planet to love — that tidal wave of love. </div>

As the red carpet of holiday energies ushers us toward the Winter Solstice, the advent of 2012 gives us yet another reason to celebrate. The joys of the season remind us that that the spark that ignites on December 22nd will seed the matrix with the blueprint for the coming year. All of us understand that we are privileged to be the ones who get to bear witness to the Great Shift of the Ages.

No matter how we choose our 2012 pictures, and whether or not we ascribe to the idea that it is a moment of unprecedented change, most of us have come to the realization that what happens next is living inside the visions that manifest every time we remember what we're here for. It is in our hearts that we connect with the things that will help us change the world.

On the night of the Solstice, the light of the world returns — and in the center of that moment Spirit works through us to recreate itself. At this most magical time of the year, imagine what could happen if our hearts opened wide enough to allow all of our highest visions to etch new patterns of Unity and Love into the blueprint for 2012.

With this in mind, all of the articles and media presentations in our Winter Solstice edition are here to touch you with thoughts and feelings that will stir your soul to remember its purpose and keep you tuned to things that will help you make a difference in the world. This is our gift to all of you. We wish you Happy Holidays and much Joy! May the blessings of the season continue to light up the matrix with the dreams that your hearts bring to life on December twenty-second.

THE SEEKER AND THE MATURE SAGE

Sagittarius seeks wisdom. Wisdom is attained as the mind is trained to detach, look within, center, and go into the neutral zone where it can receive information from the universal mind.

The Sagittarian sage teaches us that it is the job of the higher mind to remember the Infinite. Ignorance is not remembering. Wisdom is remembering.

When the human mind connects with the universal mind, we become wise. The mature Archer is a sage with a generous disposition. Educated and knowledgeable, he is a scholar and a teacher. Insightful, with the gift of prophecy, he is sought out as a counselor and advisor. Connected to Spirit, he administers both just judgments and healing and engages in right action.

The Sage knows that to achieve self-mastery and humility, he/she must constantly attune him/herself to Spirit.

TRUTH IS THE TARGET

The fire signs have both masculine and feminine qualities.Jupiter, ruler of Sagittarius, is exalted in Cancer, the archetype of the Great Mother. *(8) Kwan Yin Bodhisattva, the Great Mother in the Buddhist tradition, is the embodiment of both Wisdom and Compassion Kwan Yin is often depicted riding a cloud with her bow and arrow. Like the Sagittarius archetype, she teaches us that we can rise above evil, if we point our hearts in the direction of Spirit. Instead of directing our vengeance at the doer of evil, we release evil from the curse of darkness with the Light of Spirit

As the warrior mode of Kwan Kin, the archetypes that search 4 integrity, sincerity, honesty and right judgment, aim their arrow at the Truth.

ZEUS, JOVE, JUPITER

For the Greeks, Zeus was the god of the Highest Truth. Later Zeus was known to the Romans as Jove or Jupiter. *(9) Jupiter is the ruling planet of Sagittarius. In Greek mythology, Zeus was the All Seeing, the All Wise and the All Highest, who was experienced as a force or a Sacred Presence found everywhere. But this presence was more than a peaceful backdrop to life.

This presence is the sacred spark of (Spirit) life itself, which makes itself known by the illuminated spark of energy in lightning and thunder, weather changes, the wisp of the wind, the flight of an eagle, the light of fire, and the twinkle of the stars.

Humans experience Spirit as a spark of enthusiasm, the impulse to move forward, the motivation to quest toward a goal, the energy to get things done and to engage in daily activities and chores. We feel the force of a sacred presence everywhere in our being in our heartbeat, our breath, our body rhythms and our movements.

Sagittarius is our inner Zeus and our inner Jupiter.

Sagittarius is cheerful, optimistic, light-hearted, jovial, festive, playful, generous and confident in the future. The expansive Sagittarius enjoys and amplifies the inspiration and adventures of life. However, the mind of this fire sign is so fast that it can jump forward without totally experiencing the present moment. Sagittarius is future-oriented and does not dwell in the past. Sagittarius usually forgives quickly because it is eager to move on to its next adventure.

Sagittarius seeks out, and even expects, peak experiences

Sagittarius is grateful for being alive and likes to count its blessings.Sag is optimistic, expects good things to happen, and usually attracts positive experiences. Sagittarius is inspired by a vision and focuses on the larger goal.Sag enjoys the process of achieving its goal and then moves on to the next one.

Sagittarius possesses both extroverted and introverted energy. It aspires to greatness within and without. The Sagittarius archer, with arrow pointed towards the heavens (mounted on a galloping horse), portrays some of the other Sag character traits straight as an arrow, blunt, direct, sincere, honest, truthful, above board, and able to keep its word.

Sagittarius often achieves recognition rewards for its intellectual accomplishments, philosophical contributions, and innovations to education and higher consciousness.

Like all the signs, not everyone has planets in Sagittarius, but Sag energy is part of everyones birth chart. There are three ways to identify where and how the Sag energy plays out in our lives.(1) Locating the house or houses that contain Sagittarius, helps us identify the arena in life where we confront our Sagittarius issues and display our Sag traits (2)

(Metaphysics - My Sagittarius 2nd house with Jupiter exalted in Cancer 9th house)

Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, so the sign and house location of our natal Jupiter also indicates how and where we enjoy our expansive side, as well as define our experiences of Spirit.(3) The 9th house is the house or territory ruled by Jupiter and associated with Sagittarius Any planets in our 9th house are blessed with the enthusiastic Sagittarius spirit.

The above three ways all help us understand how and where we confront our issues of excess and naivet, search to expand our horizons, long to know the truth, quest for Spirit and enthusiastically share our light.

The Bible of King James

"First printed 400 years ago, it molded the English language, buttressed the “powers that be”—one of its famous phrases—and yet enshrined a gospel of individual freedom. No other book has given more to the English-speaking world."

Excerpt:

The extraordinary global career of this book, of more copies have been made than of any other book in the language, began in March 1603. After a long reign as Queen of England, Elizabeth I finally died. This was the moment her cousin and heir, the Scottish King James VI, had been waiting for. Scotland was one of the poorest kingdoms in Europe, with a weak and feeble crown. England by comparison was civilized, fertile, and rich. When James heard that he was at last going to inherit the throne of England, it was said that he was like "a poor man … now arrived at the Land of Promise."

In the course of the 16th century, England had undergone something of a yo-yo Reformation, veering from one reign to the next between Protestant and anti-Protestant regimes, never quite settling into either camp. The result was that England had two competing versions of the Holy Scriptures. The Geneva Bible, published in 1560 by a small team of Scots and English Calvinists in Geneva, drew on the pioneering translation by William Tyndale, martyred for his heresy in 1536.

It was loved by Puritans but was anti-royal in its many marginal notes, repeatedly suggesting that whenever a king dared to rule, he was behaving like a tyrant. King James loved the Geneva for its scholarship but hated its anti-royal tone. Set against it, the Elizabethan church had produced the Bishops' Bible, rather quickly translated by a dozen or so bishops in 1568, with a large image of the Queen herself on the title page.

There was no doubt that this Bible was pro-royal. The problem was that no one used it. Geneva's grounded form of language ("Cast thy bread upon the waters") was abandoned by the bishops in favor of obscure pomposity: They translated that phrase as "Lay thy bread upon wette faces." Surviving copies of the Geneva Bible are often greasy with use. Pages of the Bishops' Bible are usually as pristine as on the day they were printed.

This was the divided inheritance King James wanted to mend, and a new Bible would do it. Ground rules were established by 1604: no contentious notes in the margins; no language inaccessible to common people; a true and accurate text, driven by an unforgivingly exacting level of scholarship. To bring this about, the King gathered an enormous translation committee: some 54 scholars, divided into all shades of opinion, from Puritan to the highest of High Churchmen. Six subcommittees were then each asked to translate a different section of the Bible.

Although the translators were chosen for their expertise in the ancient languages (none more brilliant than Lancelot Andrewes, dean of Westminster), many of them had already enjoyed a rich and varied experience of life. One, John Layfield, had gone to fight the Spanish in Puerto Rico, an adventure that left him captivated by the untrammeled beauty of the Caribbean; another, George Abbot, was the author of a best-selling guide to the world; one, Hadrian à Saravia, was half Flemish, half Spanish; several had traveled throughout Europe; others were Arab scholars; and two, William Bedwell and Henry Savile, a courtier-scholar known as "a magazine of learning," were expert mathematicians.

There was an alcoholic called Richard "Dutch" Thomson, a brilliant Latinist with the reputation of being "a debosh'd drunken English-Dutchman." Among the distinguished churchmen was a sad cuckold, John Overall, dean of St. Paul's, whose friends claimed that he spent so much of his life speaking Latin that he had almost forgotten how to speak English. Overall made the mistake of marrying a famously alluring girl, who deserted him for a presumably non-Latin-speaking courtier, Sir John Selby. The street poets of London were soon dancing on the great man's misfortune:

The dean of St. Paul's did search for his wife
And where d'ye think he found her?
Even upon Sir John Selby's bed,
As flat as any flounder.

This was a world in that there was no gap between politics and religion. A translation of the Bible that could be true to the original Scriptures, be accessible to the people, and embody the kingliness of God would be the most effective political tool anyone in 17th-century England could imagine. "We desire that the Scripture may speake like it selfe," the translators wrote in the preface to the 1611 Bible, "that it may bee understood even of the very vulgar." The qualities that allow a Brother Rome Wager to connect with his cowboy listeners—a sense of truth, a penetrating intimacy, and an overarching greatness—were exactly what King James's translators had in mind.

They went about their work in a precise and orderly way. Each member of the six subcommittees, on his own, translated an entire section of the Bible. He then brought that translation to a meeting of his subcommittee, where the different versions produced by each translator were compared and one was settled on. That version was then submitted to a general revising committee for the whole Bible, that met in Stationers' Hall in London.

Here the revising scholars had the suggested versions read aloud—no text visible—while holding on their laps copies of previous translations in English and other languages. The ear and the mind were the only editorial tools. They wanted the Bible to sound right. If it didn't at first hearing, a spirited editorial discussion—extraordinarily, mostly in Latin and partly in Greek—followed. A revising committee presented a final version to two bishops, then to the Archbishop of Canterbury, and then, notionally at least, to the King.

"The professor said to me, you can't measure happiness. Now why they thought you measure depression that they were all doing, but you couldn't measure happiness, I'm not sure." - A psychologist, Happy the Movie. http://www.thehappymovie.com/

I loved Happy: the Movie. Happy is directed Roko Belic, the director of the documentary Ghengis Blues and the director of photography of I Am: The Documentary. Originally, Happy started out with Belic making a documentary Tom Shadyak on happiness. Shadyak gave him the money to film the documentary and Belic ended up raising the money himself for distribution.

During the filming of Happy, Shadyak decided to make his own documentary called, I Am is about his own quest for happiness and turned out to be an expose on connectedness and changing the world. So I see these two films as sibling films.

I found the Happy movie to be immensely uplifting. It was a surprisingly practical and down-to-earth documentary on the nature of happiness and how one increases happiness in life. One of the values of being happy is that, in a state of happiness one is most able to clearly experience life and more easily take advantage of opportunities. The film started out exploring positive psychology. Among other psychology experts, Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, the author of the book, Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience, was interviewed.

He explained that Flow is basically doing what you most want to do while experiencing the timeless of being in the now. There were many examples in the film of people experiencing flow. There was an amazingly down-to-earth example of a guy who is a cook in a restaurant who really looks like he's in the flow when frying food. Experiencing happiness, being in the flow actually gives a person energy rather than tiring one out. Happy people also get back to their baseline faster after stress or you could say they recover from stress faster.

Material happiness was explored. It was found that in the U.S., once a person makes $50,000/year, anything after that makes no difference in happiness. A rickshaw driver in India was said to be as happy as a middle-class U.S. citizen. Even though the rickshaw driver had little material comforts, he had an extensive neighborhood support system which greatly contributed to his happiness.
