Domestic Partnerships for same-sex partners in Mexico

Two states, Mexico City (DF) and Coahulia, have already changed laws to allow same-sex couples and straight couple to recognize their union without being married, which means they can inherit to their partners, forced to rpovide housing and food to their partners, and support then after a breaking up. Unfortunely adoption is still unnacepted.

The conservative party, PAN, is going to try to stop this "unnaceptable" law becuase it goes against religion...MY ASS.

Mexico might import corn from U.S.

It seems every year all prices of products we consume in Mexico goes high up, it is a must, something mexicans expect. This year we started with the basic product we can´t stop from consuming it: Corn. I´m not sure about his but I´m guessing 90-95% of mexican families depend on it to satified their need of food. Now, some of them can´t affor to get it.

Defenitely, producing corn in mexican land it´s not an easy job. Pollution, no water, bad seeds, lack of regulations that control the market, lack of help to farmers, etc, have make this problem a big issue.

Today I heared in the news that Mexico will import corn from US.....I bet it is transgenic corn! Very sad for me. BEsides being transgenic, I´m sure mexican farmes will go to bankrupt, isn´t that sad? My fucking country is fucking up it´s own people, financialy and in their won health.

Hope this problem won´t go too far and we find a better way to deal with it.

Sometimes I wonder if....

I am very happy with what I have around me of I only look everything negative.

Yesterday I hung out with a bunch of friends to celebrate "King´s day", a traditional mexican celebration remembering the day the three kings visited baby Jesus when he was born. We basically celebrate the day by eating a "rosca" or a bread that looks like a huge doughnut, and drink chocolate. Everything went alright until my friends sterted talking about their babies and mariage.

Just for you to know, most of my friends are straight already married, I have only one friend who is a gay guy who was at the same party with me. When my friends were talking about having more babies, about marriage life, etc., Rodrigo (my gay friend) and I just looked at each other and laughed so bad! I guess we were nervous because we don´t fit in that lifestyle at all, having babies is not basically impossible for us, even thought I was to have one some day. One of my friends turned around telling me that I wish I could have the same. Her intention wasn´t to hurt me, it was more like a joke, but for me was something different, I thought it was true.

Seeing my friends together with babies, happy, talking about their lifes as a couple, is exactly what I want, i am jelaous at them. Please don´t get me wrong, I don´t want to be a dad, I just want to have my man with me.

I used to think I am happy with my life, now I´m not sure about it. Who said life is easy? Maybe I am just complicating myself.

I´m sorry if this doesn´t make any sense, I just wanted to share my night.
