So once a semester I have to sit down and read simply enormous quantities of essays. Bleargh. On the first day we read essays from students who are not ready for prime time, so to speak; this semester, they were asked, "If you could create a holiday, what would it be?"
One student's answer blew me away: Monkeys' day out. On this holiday we would release all the monkeys from the zoos and laboratories then cower at home while the monkeys wreak havoc in the streets. OK, sadly, the student wasn't joking, but man, what a great idea! Go man go!
