*****Core Knowledge form a Meadow and a Mountain*****
I come from the relm of deva's living on the eastern side of the majestic Mt. Shasta. I choose to experience this life as a human, adventuring away form my nature spirit, faiery kin. The deva's, the name of those shining ones, insisted that I keep the name to remind me from where I came.
Come play in the trees crazy human, they whisper while I pay my parking ticket; come dance in the meadows, swim in the streams, bask in the lovely sun. Listen closely to the wind, for the answers are found, united, in every living thing. Be ONE to know ONE.
So, I stop and gain lessons from the pine tree, teaching how to be tall, playful. The pine does not run from the storm, but remembers its roots, deeply embracing the earth. I accept my life's situation.
In the meadow I experience, golden space, filled with every type of grass, flower and bug imaginable. I squat down and pay close attention to the delicate detail of the unique grasses. I am always awed by their intricate patterns and beauty. Upon standing, losing my micro view, I become a huge destroyer of the delicate life. I love this field, but with every step I am killing. The wind whispers, release, let go, trod lightly on the Earth. With this awarness comes a vast silence, golden and free.

Spinning around in my head, I come back to center when I see the first Mountain of my life, Mt. Shasta. I am a humble maiden again. I bow down to this fearless goddess. Her late summer nakedness reveals her sharp edges. This is truth and I a truth seeker.
Although the sun loves to dress her in pinks, gold’s and purples, her rocky surface just reflects back the suns colorful ideals. I hear a whisper…all we see is our own reflection. Even under the winters snowy desguise of purity, Mt. Shasta is still a massive active volcano ready to speak her dangerous words when the time comes. Yes, once again I embrace fear and learn that destruction is part of the life's cycle. Until then be still. Be real. I follow her example with an open heart...an intrepid warrior princess filled with a natural kind of love.
