Everything Ministry has created since its inception has been an evolution. Al Jourgensen, the architect of Ministry, succeeded by remaking the mainstream in his own image and forging a new style of music.

Jourgensen morphed Ministry from a lightweight synth-pop band in the early '80s to a musical juggernaut with many side projects (Revolting Cocks, 1000 Homo DJs, Pailhead, Lard) on legendary Chicago-based Wax Trax! Records.

Moving to Sire Records in the mid-'80s Ministry released albums showcasing an ever-evolving style. The Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Taste and The Land of Rape and Honey both went Gold as people searched beyond bland MTV conformity.

Coming back strong in the new millennium with Animositisomina Jourgensen refocused his energy. In 2004 a revitalized Ministry debuted Houses of the Mole. For its 25th Anniversary in 2005, Ministry released Rantology featuring tracks personally mixed, arranged, recorded and mastered by Uncle Al himself.

In October 2005, Jourgensen launched his own label, 13th Planet Records complete with an online store. Ministry?s first release on 13th Planet, Rio Grande Blood, debuted in 2006 and captured Grammy nominations for "The Great Satan" (2005) and "Lieslieslies" (2006). It was followed by the remix album Rio Grande Dub in 2007. Ministry's final studio release, The Last Sucker, is out now and is available for order in the 13th Planet Store.

From the day nigh two decades ago when the first scratchy sounds of Pavement floated in the ether above Stockton (crown jewel of California’s Central Valley, the sprawling breadbasket that neither the North or the South have claimed in California’s ongoing “two states” culture war; just providing some historical context that will be useful a few sentences later), the music of Stephen Malkmus has been the gift that keeps on keepin’ on.

Did SM not offer the eternal promise of “perfect sound forever”? Was this sly appropriation of a digital age boast for Pavement’s low-bandwidth treble-kicks not a prescient example of that “irony” thing everybody talked about in the ‘90s? Can we then conclude that that by invoking “paralyzed dreams forever” on this album Malkmus foretells some sort of bad moon on the rise?

Pennywise is an American punk rock band that was formed in 1988, and is named after the monster from the Stephen King novel, It.

Since Pennywise's 1991 self-titled debut, the band had released an album every two years on Epitaph Records, a label owned by Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz. To date, Pennywise have released eight full-length studio albums, one live album, two EPs and one DVD. Their most recent studio album is 2008's Reason to Believe, which was released for free through a partnership between MySpace, and Textango, a mobile music distributor. In addition the album would be for sale in stores through MySpace Records in the United States and Epitaph in Europe.

Festival De La Paz::Summer Solstice Campout!!! Peace, Love, and Music........

“Festival de la Paz” is four days of camping, music, mountain biking, good times, and peace. All money raised goes to the nonprofit corporation La Paz. La Paz is an organization that works in conjunction with other nonprofits to support cultural and social diversity, fund international humanitarian trips, and enhance our immediate community by providing goods and services to those in need in the name and spirit of peace. This year's event will benefit the Inter-tribal Council of American Indians, a historical and educational organization protecting the North American Indian heritage of Texas and its cultures.

The event will be held once again at the Bar H Ranch. This venue is a magical place on 1100 acres, full of Indian history, natural amphitheaters, multiple camp grounds, cook shacks, 28 miles of pristine single tract mountain bike trails, fossil pits, artifacts, and a gracious host to us. We ask that you come to Texas on the summer solstice, June 20th, til Sunday @ noon, to support a worthy cause. We have a opportunity to stand in solidarity and promote a better world for all humanity.

The Breaks® is located about 80 miles north of the Dallas/Ft.Worth Metroplex, 4.5 miles northeast of the small town of Saint Jo, Texas on FM 2382.

From the Dallas/Ft. Worth area drive north on I-35 to Gainesville.
Drive west on Hwy 82 to
Saint Jo (23 miles)...Turn right at the Dairy Queen onto FM 2382 and drive north for
4.5 miles...Look for the old bikes on the fence on your left and go immediate
left on County Road 433 (gravel)...Go down the hill one mile and look for the
old 1942 fat tire bicycle on the left...The camping area, restroom facilities and
self-pay station are just inside the entrance. Parking is across from the main entrance.
