anyways from whatever talk is out there, seems like i was blacklisted from the event last year! anyways here is my side of the story my thoughts my feelings on what i did that morning! i had a timeslot 6-7am sat morning at still dream last year, my other friend had a slot right after me, if it wasnt for me he wouldnt have been out there, i was thinking it would be great to have some people hear the sounds of my friend, anyways first off an hour slot at a far away remote location will not make me want to do that slot. an hour set is perfect if i was doing a live set or something on that level, for me i prefer to dj!, my music is way different than the shit i spin out anyways, and is pretty rare if u catch me throwing down my original stuff! so an hour an half is proper time slot for a dj set, so anyone trying to book me for less than that, it has to be really something special for me to help out! so by bringng in my friend to help DJ will make it extra special, so with my friend spinning right after me, that made it worth it! anyways in the middle of the night the chillout stage got turned off like 2am. i offered help to relocate the system to the poolside, which was more ideal to me from the start! no one at that point wanted to help out, everyone was saturated on there peak moments including me! after talking with certain people they decided they wouldnt move the system til like 10am! so i dont know after seeing genji play his set on some laptop speakers, i was like are u guys serious, that was def an odd site to see! anyways when the time came and nothing was done to relocate the system, the only music was going was from the main system! there was like two people on the dancefloor, and the music was way negative dark shit, i totally wasnt feeling it, and was certain the chillout side to things would make it just right for the moment, anyways it was time for me to get a move on to the next location,that being Gemini! so i get to my car and its blocked by a golf cart, i had no clue whos golf cart that was, i remember asking one guy and it sorta ended in nothing, the main system was going and it was only making it worse for me to listen to what was coming from there, i had to get the freak out of there, seriously if the music is making the situation worse for you, u need to go somewhere else! i had no choice for me, my car was blocked. well everyone around didnt speak up and say that this muthafucker over heres golf cart., so i decided to turn the system off, not turn it way loud and blow some speakers type shit, but harmless by just turning it down, i figure this guy playing his shitty dark music can handle a moment of silence! i mean shit a couple of djs were silenced at that time including me! so i figure it would be funny to turn it down on him at least to find out who's golf cart was blocking my exit of passage! well sure enough the mothafucka was right there ten feet away, moved his golf cart and i was off!! i drive by the campsite and grab my other friend to get out shit and we had to go! no way i was gonna want to stick around after turning the main system off! so we got our shit and headed toward the exit , well arriving at the exit, there was a basketball hoop in the way, i couldnt exit. so i decided ill go try the same trick again, and maybe whoever can move that basketball hoop can do it! well sure enough i turn the system off again, and the last dj i turned the system off came charging after me with fists in the air!! i was like oh shit, my ass is grass, i start running then some other bodyguard looking dude grabs me and trys to kick me out, i was like umm yeah i cant exit, stupid basketball hoop is in the way, he was glad to move it out of the way for us! and then we were off!!!!!!!! so anyways if u think i should get blacklisted for some silly mischief then i understand ya when u walk away when my set starts! sorry Swami i know ur new cd just came out, but i can just let it sit there, let u guys handle the movement on that! i cant possibly support someone that initiated a blacklist towards me! i feel you when u do that. it always makes me wonder why people arent feeling my music, is so many people out here on some dark shit! anyways i totally am sorry to my good friend Dylan for bringing him out there to enjoy shitty music at the time we were supposed to throw down! he goes by DFTRAM an acronym for Dont Forget The Real Ambient Movement!! im totally sorry about what ive down and def learned from it! now a year almost gone by and im still hearing about what ive done was so bad that i cant be part of certain crews because of that! if people feel its important to keep me out of certain parties then i feel you! my heart has been shattered!! its a mystery when people come out to hear me and dont hear me, it makes me wonder sometimes! for all the times ive given up my slot in order to push something i believe is better than me throwing down, i hope it goes along way! ive known my sets have gone a long ways! ive gone a long ways! but not long enough! will it be different if i just gave up on music. will people notice if im gone!!
