Back in May 2007 I was approached by Mr. Jonathan Stark to work on a vehicle for the DARPA Urban Challenge.

We talked a few times, and the technologies involved were a perfect fit, (i.e. PIC chips, stuff I do in my garge in my spare time). Unfortunately, I had an offer to work on a consumer electronics gadget. It was a tough choice. I so wanted to help BOLO conquer the world. Today, I am working on the gadget and not the car. I feel lucky to be able to choose between two interesting projects.

I'll post info about the project when we announce in a few weeks.

Like Bucky Fuller, Carl Sagan, Isaac Asimov, RAW was an important influence in my late teenage years.

The Illuminatus Trilogy and Schroedinger's Cat were important books in my early college years.

As our bodies froze in the wee hours of winter 1981, sitting in the basement at Voodoo House, our minds embarked on intergalactic cruises, primed by caffeine and lack of sleep, wrapped in discussion of Douglas Adams, Fuller, RAW. In this frozen time, my first months away from home, lifelong friendships would be forged.
