My new year starts a little later than everyone else's so my resolutions are just now starting to kick in. It has been a cold and busy fall to winter and I am happy that the days are getting longer.
I am cutting up quartz with metallic veins, pink crazy lace agate, and NC malachite. I should learn to keep a camera in the studio so I can keep up with what I am doing.

I have been so sick all week! This little green guy is exactly what I feel is running through all of my systems. Now everyone I live with has it. I have been feeling so bad that I have not cut anything - I just stare at the piles of rocks to be processed. I also had to cut my metal class so I would not make everyone sick. I am behind in everything.
The worst is yet to come - I have to miss out on an all night drum circle and rockhunting this weekend.
