This testimonial is long overdue:
I cannot give enough thanks, or say enough about this unbelievable being. She really gave our troupe its start...even WITHIN the Gothic community in NYC, noone had bothered with us. But Lady Christiane extended her kindness to us and, SIGHT UNSEEN, allowed us to dance at her venue. This is the sort of kindness you will find with her. She loves working with other creative souls and is such a creative force, herself. Beautiful dancer, imaginative to no end, unbelievably well read and knowledgeable in subjects I've barely even heard of...she is simply wonderous. Thank you, Lady, we need more of you in New York! Now...what should I say about my fellow 'I' talian here.
Beautiful (the most gorgeous eyes I have ever seen), sweet, youthful (I thought I had at least ten years on her...I hate you!) LOL, Intelligent...yeesh, bring up a topic and she could probably teach it, talented (is there nothing you can't do?), powerful (especially with a sword or black veil). One of the very first people I met in her neck of the woods. Always supportive...thank you! I don't recall who approached who but I am just so happy it happened. Thank you for being such a special friend. January 11, 2007
Its great to have a "Sister" like Christi!
Not only is she smart, witty, and creative...She is a great friend and dance partner too! It's been very exciting to see our dance troupe Ak'Ana grow and share a creative vision for the future of Tribal and Fusion Bellydance. January 9, 2007
Christiane is an inspiring, beautiful dancer, and an inspiring, beautiful person! She is warm and friendly and always willing to lend support, whether in dance or in life!

Re: Music related question
(in Tribal Bellydance)
The troupe in question operates independently from the people who run the Belly Jam ... it might not be such a hot idea to use that music so soon after they performed with it. But you can ask them what they think, and go with what they say.

Re: Nerves in feet hurting
(in Belly Dance Instructors)
I second everyone here in that she should see a doctor. My mom had Morton's neuroma in both her feet; probably years of wearing high heels with those tight pointy-toe boxes aggravated it. She did have to have surgery.
I do these exercises to st... read more discussion post on Tue, May 6, 2008 - 9:21 AM

I teach bellydance on Wednesday evenings at Studio Zen in Yardley, Pa., and the owner of the studio, Casey, asked me if I would do a tribal bellydance workshop at Studio Zen in Hillsborough. I threw out March 8 as a date, but didn't really hear anything back. Fast-forward to the mild shock I felt yesterday when I viewed the Studio Zen Webpage and saw the Hillsborough event listed. So, um, yeah. It's on, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. They're charging $25, which is a prett... read more
I'll be doing a solo 9:45 p.m. Saturday ... didn't want to do it on Friday because of work, and Sunday during the day is when I have to go home.
