Well, this may not be the best topic to start a blog off with but ah well!
Mention was made of Dementors "breeding" in the latest installment of the Harry Potters series, "The Half Blood Prince," and only upon finishing the book did I realize the horrible truth...after dropping that interesting statement into the start of the book, JKR never elaborated or made further mention! I realize it's peculiar to sit and comtemplate the mating habits of fictitous 'creatures' during my idle moments, but, honestly!...hitherto, I figured these mysterious beings were merely created but the term "breeding," and adding that the unseasonable summer fog was a byproduct of this occurance, has my mental wheels spinning. Can there be 'baby' Dementors? Dementor Families? What capacity does the fog play in all of this?
