The picture is my current image of tribe.net (Elkhorn, Montana). Am I wrong?
After over a year's absence from the tribe.net web site, I made a return visit. A lot has happened to me in that time. I sold my house in the San Francisco Bay Area and made the leap to a new house in Hilo, Hawaii. I'm still not really settled here yet but liking it much better than I expected.

Tribe has continued to assault the private tribes. Whole tribes have been wiped out now the way Yahoo and MSN have done with many groups on those domains. Moderators are being warned and informed:
"Note: Tribe is a respectful and considerate community. You may not upload photos that portray pornography, obscenity, or sexually explicit conduct, symbolize hatred, or that violate a copyright. See the Terms of Use and Code of Conduct to review all restrictions."

The scramble comtinues as tribe.net seems to be forcing the private tribes slowly out of existence. More and more people are unsubscribing. More and more people are just not showing up here and abandoning their profiles like relics left behind in Minoa or Pompei.

There is a new attack by the censorship police of tribe.net going on in the private gay tribes. It may well be going on in the straight private tribes as well, but I don't hear it in the few of those I belong to at present. Images are slowly being removed and both posters and moderators are being notified. There seems to be no real pattern that anyone has yet identified, however, this would not be the first web site to slowly clear out the riff raff as they see it.

Whenever any web site decides to redesign their 'look', it takes awhile to get used to the way it operates. Personally, I think this redesign watered down the content of the site and filled it with more and more advertising. Since it's free to users and advertising driven for income, I don't blame them. They afterall, are all about making a living, making money for themselves. I can't really fault them for that.
