What can someone say about Chuckie that hasn't already been said a thousand times at the various commitment hearings and in a host of proceedings for restraining orders? Chuckie's been a good friend. As good a friend as anyone can be without actually being friendly... or particularly good. Oh, and girls, did I mention that he's single? Don't trample anyone trying to get to him. There's plenty to go around.

Redding or Bust!

That’s right. I’m about to head into the bowels of Shasta County once again to visit my mother for the Thanksgiving holiday.

I’ll be driving the 600 mile trip starting around 3:00AM on Thursday to avoid the crazy traffic through L.A. I should arrive around 1:30 in the afternoon if everything goes as planned.

Everyone have a happy holiday and see you on the other side.

Keepin' The Summer Alive (Volume 2)

Well, I finally did it. I went boogie boarding on Monday after work. This was actually my second time out on the waves as I went out last Tuesday.

I received this board as a birthday present back in July, but an arm injury prevented me getting out there to ride the wild surf. It was great to get out and have some fun again.

25 Years Ago Today.

It was another ordinary Sunday in my teenage life. I was out shopping at Gemco in Fountain Valley with my folks. They were looking for whatever and I was over in the records and tapes department near the front of the store.

Flashback to the Present

It’s hard to believe that a week has passed since my vacation ended. It seems like I was there just a day ago.

The week went well although my plans of getting a job in Southern California have been delayed. Orange County or Bust.

The tension is mounting. Only a few hours until I pull out of Redding for my 600 mile journey to beautiful Buena Park (AKA the center of the Southland).

The car is packed and my big fear is that I will forget something important like my laptop or address book.

The tension is increased by the fact that I will also be on a job search.

Vacations can be so stressful. I don't know why people go on them.
