Hey everyone, just wanted to give the heads up. I don’t know when my internet access is going to be cut off, but it will be in the next few days. As soon as they cut if off, I can get it turned back on in my name and will be back up and running. Because of a roomate moving, and comcast's unwillingness to help, we end up with the situation we have here today. So getting in touch with me on here for anything needing my direct reply, cannot be promised. Ill be on here till it cuts off, but considering im waiting on Comcast to do so, who knows when it happens or when the decide to start my new account. Atlanta SantaCon Aftermath & DSB website is LIVE!!!

To start this off right, if you were not with us Saturday at the Atlanta SantaCon, YOU MISSED OUT!!! Between picking Mustang up @ the Airport, flyin in from DC - to - seeing Mitch back in town after moving to Boston - to - the many many NC folks who graced us with their presence - to - Dirty Daddy Dave from SC - to - the FL crew that drove all the way up 75... and they all came just to spread their red...... That's right; the Dirty Southern Burners have done it again. Seems every time we get together, it gets dirtier and dirtier. Spread your red bitch!!! SantaCon was one of the best times I have ever had. We had some where in the area of 35-45 Santa's.... We drank, sang carols, took pics, passed out candy and enjoyed company, met new friends and even introduced a few to what we do... Check out the pics, there are a few links sent thru other emails for SantaCon, but we are currently working on getting them all into our new Atlanta SantaCon home http://www.dirtysouthernburners.com This site was designed in mind to provide a central point of things going on in both the South East and Atlanta, or your city/state if you choose to use it. It is also an alternative to using YahooGroups. Which is one of the main reasons DSB was started, to have a place for DSB's can get their theme camp figured out, use it to plan SantaCon, MnG's as well as share pics and conversation about the past, present and future. Atlanta SantaCon Details... Dec 16th, 2006

Hello fellow Santa’s……… We are within 4 ½ days of the 2nd Annual SantaCon in Atlanta and more details need to be posted so we can all pull this off as needed. This year is going to be a little different than last year. I’m sure most of you have gotten the details about the hotel most of us will be staying at after the event. It is close to our last venue we plan to visit. Details of that follow From: haley [mailto:haleymchaney@yahoo.com] Subject SantaCon Dec 16... Hotels I have just reserved two rooms at the Stratford Inn for Dec.16th. If you want to stay with us, let me know. We will try and get as many peeps as possible in a room, but if you would like to reserve your own room, the web address is www.stratfordatlanta.com. The rooms are 49.99 a night, but I think they charge a buttload of tax. Anyway, you can either rent a room yourself or throw in with us, but let me know so I can see how many people we are expecting with us. ~Haley Ok, so the main game plan – at least as of the moment, but we will try not to get too far off track just yet…… Word on the street is that Santa starts at 4:42pm in Centennial Park in Atlanta GA…. For pics in the Park. From there we get on MARTA and take a trip to a local mall… Due to everything involved, im not naming the mall for the reason of once we leave the park, we will be thru the mall experience within a matter of about 20 min, we will travel to Little 5 Points from there, which will be our next meeting place. When we leave the park, we will be following the bullhorn and trumpet the rest of the night. It’s always better to stay in the crowd. You can’t stop 100 Santa’s, but small groups of them have a better chance of dealing with BS not worth dealing with on such a good night. Our MARTA trips need to be known as getting on the trains, since everyone needs to know where to get off. The Bullhorn will announce this MANY times in the Park. If you know someone on the trip, you can contact them; a few have been nice enough to let other Santa’s call them in the process if needed. Contact info below… The Mall trip needs to know to follow all the other Santa’s straight downstairs to have a walk thru to the other side, go upstairs and go back to MARTA. We may do other Malls in the area, but depends on what happens at the first. It was discussed about walk thru’s we had last year and how good they turned out that before every bar we go in, the bullhorn will announce if we will be rampaging or walk-in thru the venue we are entering….If you joined us last year, you’ll understand this one! BRING CASH…. Drinks at bars SHOULD ALWAYS be paid for as soon as you get them… it takes 2 sec for the call from the bullhorn of SANTA’S OUT!!!! That it happens… ALL SANTA’S GONE…. A MARTA Daily card is recommended, depending on the time you plan on arriving. If you’re going to the airport and all places afterwards, the card is a good idea. Going to Centennial Park, MARTA is the prob the best route you can take. Phillips Arena stop is your best one. But unless your staying at the Stratford Inn, getting back to MARTA or the Park is going to be a task…. Something to think about. If you show up @ the Park on time, we will announce where we are going so you can follow in different transportation if you please.. My only request is that NO Santa’s drive drunk on this night. It would only look bad for all of us and cost you TOO much money!!!! Think of your fellow Santa and everyone one else on this earth.… PLEASE!! When we start in Little 5 Points, we will be starting at the Vortex…. Look for the Santa’s to come in sometime around…. 6-6:30pm If your worried that you missed Santa after showing up late… Just call a Santa below… they can always help you find this group of Santa’s… On Route….. The North Highlands are in store… its just what’s between where we are and where we are going. We will end at the same place we did last year… The Claremont Lounge. Besides common sense I think we have covered most everything. Put forth effort to get involved…… If you dress up, FIND US!!! YOUR MORE THAN WELCOME AND NEEDED!!!! ROCK ON! Ok, to start this thing off, This is my first time on the net since the 17th so I have to say thank you to Tunna, and everyone who came out this past weekend and enjoyed the fire/drinking (not together, well at least not me!) fun we had! It fuckin ROCKED! Even if I was sore as shit from flipping that golf cart earlier that day! Seriously, everyone that came out helped make it the blast it was. Tunna & family & roommates fuckin COOKED UP some food! That pork was mmmm mmmm mmmm good! There were a lot of new ppl there, at least for the MnG angle of it all. Some I had met @ TransformUs (or somewhere) before, but we all know how that goes! Others I got to meet for the first time. Thanks for all the new faces!!! We still drank together and enjoyed company from 3 states!!! FUCK YEAH! Anyways hung over on Sunday (and having a couple to help) Tunna and his roommate (Tunna, wtf is his name????? He was fuckin awesome!!) Offered up the house for another MnG. So, after debating on which weekend to do it, we have a conclusion!!! The Saturday after Thanksgiving and we are having a Burner Orphan Thanksgiving @ Tunna’s on November 25th!!! I don’t care if you have family around or not, your more than welcome to come be apart of our Thanksgiving @ Tunna’s!!! I think the plan is to make some fried turkey and you bring a plentiful dish with you to help the pot luck of an orphan thanksgiving. I will make sure that’s the case, I gotta call Tunna and go over some of the plans there but, think of your fav dish, and make lots of it!!! If you’re on a list that I didn’t post this to, please pass it on, and if you’re on all the lists I posted this to, I feel sorry for you, your about as rapped up in it as I am!!! I do hope to see yall out there and can’t wait to play with all yall again! ROCK ON! Also, we were too busy drinking and enjoying each other (not quite like that you sick fuckers…Well unless you were there you wouldn’t know!) to talk much about SantaCon this year. I need for anyone online and interested to join the Atlanta SantaCon Yahoo Group @ http://groups.yahoo.com/groups/atlantasantacon . We do need to talk about this, and figure out who has suggestions about what we can do. I have a couple things in mind but until we decide what everyone wants – or at least come to a compromise im not going to make it public. Once it does happen, you will wish I wasn’t on this list, if you haven’t already!!! Don’t worry im still working out the I FUCKING HATE YAHOO GROUPS group….. But that’s another story. Deep Breaths….. It hurts sometimes to get so much email, I guess checking it every 2 weeks doesn’t really help that one out at all! Now that I think of it, I think I already made that group…. Only one other joined….
