Here's my testimonial for you "Cinder":
I once had a dream as a child that I was a little kitten. When I awoke, I was confused. I didn't know if I was a little girl having a dream that I was a kitten, or if I was a kitten having a dream that I was a little girl having a dream that I was a kitten. I still get confused about that sometimes, as humans can be so strange to me. meow July 17, 2006
Cinder is a really imaginative, smart guy and a GREAT fire performer/inventor of cool fire toys.
He has also helped me as a fire tech! I am going into new areas of skill with my fire performances.... he is in the pic on my icon; standing there to guide me as I first spun my new staff on fire at PALA! Thanks, Cinder, also, for the great help you gave everyone at SOAK 2006....I'm looking forward to working with you again soon! Cheers! Marley October 17, 2005
chris is my boy
i wish he lived closer to me and would throw me around in his ring of fire October 13, 2005
So, I first met Chris when he responded to my "need a flame-thrower" ad on tribe...
Probably one of the most modest men I have ever met; he keeps suprising me with his wit, talent and raw energy! Plus, have you seen him playing with fire yet? You have to see it live to believe it! GO CHRIS GO!

I was the fire pipe organ at the FAF. I'm glad you had fun at the festival.

Looking forward to having this unit in Bend in June and then Seattle (fingers crossed)in December. www.youtube.com/watch
I'm not super sick. Thank god. Had a 'Chris isn't dying soon night' and splurged and bought a pair of shoes. They ended up being %70 off, which was an unexpected bonus.

And I finally got my ducks in a row. Now I cannot wait to see how this summer plays out. This will be the best year of my life.
I was waiting to see my doctor this morning. Alongside me is a guy from MetroWest Ambulances. He is waiting for a patient to be released.

After a bit, his patient, Ester, is released. She is an older, frail looking lady in a wheelchair. The nurse wheels her out, and hands her over. He is nice to her, and begins to secure Ester to her chair with a belt. She mumbles something to the nurse about "if the guy knows what to do" The nurse says that she is sure he does. He does, and states to her ... read more
So I made my first large fire sculpture! It is a copper fire pendulum called Penny. Four user controlled jets of flame propel the swinging arm. I loved it, the crowd loved it.

Talk about working some magic with the fire department to make it legal. Ack! Three visits to the permitting office to talk to four different inspectors. Thanks everybody!
So, it was ALMOST legal and ALMOST permitted. This is a medium sized completely gaseous propane thumper style flame unit. All I need is a regulator to be in "spec" - but since all the components are rated almost double what the highest unassisted pressure the tank will deliver, I feel that I can get away without a regulator for now.
