Well, I've been dancing for about two years now, and I've performed some in these couple of years. I have never, however, had a paying gig until last week!! My first gig was a 60-year-old woman's birthday party with all of her girlfriends! It was too much fun! I balanced a candle to an Isaam song, did a drum solo, did a bit of veil work and exited to Hakim & Cleopatra's "Walk Like an Egyptian" as the women all sang along! So fun!
