The Artist's Mark...

So, here you are. Brought into the world an unknown amount of time ago, with an unknown amount of time left before you leave. It would be my hope, my belief, to think that every single spirit is here for a specific reason- a unique purpose. When asked as a child "what you wanted to be when you grew up", some replied with innocent shrugged confusion, some with known civic career paths such as a fireman, ballerina, or doctor. I remember watching my brother draw cartoon characters when growing up. I would mimic and replicate them, using the washing machine lid as a flat surface. It wasn't long before the pencil turned to charcoal, pastels, and ink; the washer lid to a drafting desk. I had found my personal "it"...my niche- my first true & undying love. My heart. I've never known or seen freedom like the platform created inside my own imagination. It would be another hope and dream that everyone met (or still unknown to me) are currentily in their passion, openly consumed by it's device like a bright light. To find your path (smiles) is the trick. It's the one that resonates inside your being like a gong and is carefree without friction. Pure. Unadulterated. Love...

The Did:
I think often about the past...constantly (more than I should I suppose- seeing how the past has already happend. Nothing to change. Nothing new to add from the experiences from then, maybe just different reflections and angles. I have a novel felt heart when looking back...sepia-toned and charmed. I hold many dear thoughts from the past, and an internal whince of things that have changed, people no longer contactable, but never a regret. Not one. No negatives of how things could ha... read more

(8-20-08) More than two weeks back from this year in the dust (Burning Man 08'). Snaaaaap. I needed the 6 plus days off I had after getting back just to acclimate physically into shape (and mental, well, we'll get to that!). Glorious time out...saw all the buddies from years past, some surprise visits, and did everything to my hearts content...no regrets for lost time, as, it is exactly what/where it needs to be...perfect. Some highlight notes off the top of the noggin as of right now (this p... read more

2 weeks before we (COFFEE CAMP) head out to the desert. Some details to work out, but things are going well. Excitement is only one of the words I can express outwards, so off the top of my head (and in no particular order) I'll throw out these key words, as well: Anticipation. Lusting (of life). Hopeful. A little stressed (only human :). Projectivness. Foresight. Future. Becoming. Unfolding. Dreaming. NEWS FLASH: My buddy Reid may get the time off to go as well. I've wanted him to go for alo... read more

4th of July. !B O O O M! Had a great night last night: Watched a couple of bands (Rick MuGrage, Ever Stays Red and This Great Escape), and then had a burger and beer with a friend. Same friend invited me out to Haines, Oregon, to help with their fireworks demonstration. Would be helping put 5,6, and 8 inch mortars in tubes. Sounds rad :)...
So many ideas. So little time and energy (and the band plays on... :D) But...

I know there is some juice left inside, a little fight to surpass the fa... read more

My Testimonials

November 17, 2006
There are people you meet as you walk along your path. Many are decent folk and certainly worth your time. Jeremy is one of those and more. He is one of those genuinely good people who, when he comes around, brings a good vibe and honest joy of life… and he shares it willingly. In fact, I think he smiles wider when there are others with which he can relish how sweet it is to be alive.

Breathe deep and be, my friend.

Few people or things make me smile so much. Wheee - I love this boy. Some of my best wake-ups have been to Jeremy with a big hug, hot coffee, and kick-ass glitter pants.
