When shall I be free?
When I shall cease to be?
No more I but we,
In perfect harmony.

i remember clear when he was totally opaque.

He can make me sit (mostly) still and discuss things like trig and "Godel, Escher, Bach". If you know me well, you know how next to impossible that is for me to do. He's made me wonder if I really hate math after all, or if it's just a misunderstanding. And THAT's 10+ years, dedicated to hating math, turned around. That's pretty fucking impressive. Plus, he's full of squidlets and bees.

He's laughing all the way to heaven this guy. With a smile and raised eyebrows as if he knows the secret to enlightenment and he's just waiting for the rest of us to get it.

Shouts of nothingness

I had somehow forgotten how much I enjoy listening to "Classical" music, namely Romantic and Baroque period and a big ol' dash of the Impressionists.
For the month of December our local library ( that doesn't have a drop box so you have to watch your books and make sure the librarian checks them in) is having a free for all on CDs. Usually they're 50p. 10 at a time, yes. The first batches were electronica and now it's all classical. Bach and piano music, some Paganini too. It's surprising (not really) that the cases and CDs themselves are in much better condition than the poptronica stuff.
Even on my dinky laptop speakers (oh how I miss my aural space filling studio monitors) Johan Sebastian Bach's Mass in B Minor is quite nice. Quite nice indeed.
Art. Of. The. Motherfucking. Fugue. Put that in your ear and smoke it.
And I remember that the universe is music, geometry is all.

Other than that I'm a little grumpy. Not sure why. I feel a little like I've forgotten that I was looking for something I've lost, but I know I'm not missing anything. Well, I do miss weed... a bit. It could be homesickness too. Shrug. Half way through and it'll only get colder 'till February. Yes, I definitely miss California. I'll keep this in mind before I jump the pond for places abroad.

We've got to get Kitty on a tourist visa and I'm a bit nervous about that. Her staying here is up to a government official whom I don't know, and if they choose to not let her back in on a tourist visa there is no way to petition for anything. I still proclaim that "nationality is slavery".

10 points for the first person who can tell me what Hunter S. Thompson's last words were...

Me here now.

Gender
Male
Location
about me
I make hallucinations for a living. It's fun. No, seriously. Mass halucinations. People even pay for it.

I work out in the morning.
I go to bed early.
I eat well balanced meals.
I am safe and kind and humble.

Don't listen to my words, but pay attention to my actions. I am a good listener.
And if you have no sense of humor, well, that's funny.

Human is my mode of choice and all of our ins and outs.
Animal is my mode of choice and smell and taste and emotion.
