about me
Let me see I consider myself a person who when they grew up always was more concerned with who I was going to be than how much I would make or what I would own. In my spitual indeavors I would have to consider myself a dabbler and that more than anything bugs me. I am constantly striving to find more dedication and decipline in myself. So overall I would say I am a work in progress.
I love my fiancee and I am constantly stunned that she returns my affections. We have been together for about 3 years and own a house together which has always been one of my goals "kind of contradiction from my previous statement but having moved around when I was kid and losing all the homes I had grown to love I have always wanted a home that I could keep". I have no children and I cannot have any for which I am very glad. I think children are a blessing they are just not for me.
The central things of my life are my fiancee, my family, my spiritual life, and my friends all the rest is just really fun filler.

Re: T.U.F. (in Ultimate Fighting Championship) I watched it and was not impressed by either fighter if they could of they should of put both of them out of the competition. As for the scoring well Brandon did more damage but all he really did was make the best of whatever situation he was in. ... read more

Re: Sacred Instrument (in Didjeridoo) Great post an object real value is in your heart not your pocket book. Sacredness is really a very personal thing thank you for sharing.

Sacred interesting word isn't it, and so very fraught with peril to define. It is kind of like god or the goddess different to everyone and in that difference is the beauty and ugliness of humanity. I want to explore this word as it has to do with me and the didge as well as my work as a witch. Let’s say before we get too far into this that I am using my definition of sacred which I will outline. My definition today is going to be "having religious value and or significance". So my writings w... read more

I was thinking about this today as you know it fills the forums on the didge. The question is whether as players we are helping the indigenous people with are playing or if we are hurting them. The other issue is a greater question on painting techniques, spiritual stories, and other cultural pieces. First I am going to go over both sides and some of the points they bring up then I will put my point on it.
Let’s start with the people who are against what is called indigenous ap... read more

We went and saw this group on Saturday night Thione Diop is a Senegal West African drummer he is very well known in Seattle as a Master Drummer. He goes to all the festivals and he will walk around and just start drumming. Immediately people start gathering his drumming is that good. There is a gulf between the drum circles and the professional drummers you can hear it. And when Thione starts playing no matter how many other drummers are playing you are drawn to his sound. Thione’s sound is s... read more

On Saturday Tyler was putting on a workshop and again I was able to get off early. Once I arrived people were packed in the doorway. As I looked inside I say that the majority of people did not even have a didge. Tyler had been generous enough to provide about a dozen of his didges but even then most people did not have anything to play. Many of the techniques he went over I was already familiar with so as far as technical playing not much was new.
The real learning for me ... read more

On this past Friday the 25th Tyler Spencer was playing at the Rhythm Festival. So I had been planning to go to this event for weeks. The problem was that I usually work till 6 so this last weekend I was able to work extra hours on Thursday and Friday. So I left work at 7 and thought for sure I was going to miss his performance. It turned out that the event actually started late “yes the Lord and Lady do provide”. So just as we were getting seated he was coming on stage.
