There are four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: War, Famine, Pestilence and Death.

There were four Marx Brothers: Groucho, Chico, Harpo and Zeppo.

But... there was a fifth Marx Brother, called Gummo. He appeared with the other Brothers on the stage, but stopped performing before they became international film stars. He ended up being a dress salesman, and then a showbiz agent. His role makes me wonder if perhaps there was a fifth, forgotten Horseman of the Apocalypse. Maybe he didn't make the grade. Maybe his heart just wasn't in it. Maybe he was Sloth. Or Boredom. Maybe he rode a pony, instead of a proper horse. Maybe he is Peter

Most people don't know this, but Peter is SO GAY.

And there's nothing wrong with that.

Know how sometimes you feel like you forgot something? Or, maybe it's more like somethings missing but you can't quite put your finger on it? That was my life before I met Peter. Since befriending Peter I've never felt so healthy and fit. I can wholeheartedly say that if I never would have met Peter I would probably be dead right now. Just being around Peter washes your soul with sweetness and light. His life is an inspiration and his mind a pandora's box of goodness! I'm not sure if the world knows how lucky it is to have Peter in it's midsts, but I'm sure after I set my devious appocolyptic plan into action the world will go crying to Peter to save the day. Only what Peter doesn't know is that I've cleverly discovered his one true weakness....

Gee Golly

Hello.

Today my first work of fiction to be published has been published. ON THE INTERNET!

There are typos, and a missing word, and I'm an idiot for sending it in like that, and they didn't give me any warning or time to edit my haste so there it is in all its glory. If you would like to read this short work of flash fiction go to

It's called "Data Entry"

I had this thing on my back. A bump. There was a brief time when I thought, "It must be a tumor." But then I learned about the body's weird malfunctions, how sometimes glands don't work properly and fluids build up under your skin.
The bump appeared years ago. And by years ago I don't mean a couple of years, I mean over 10 years. It was a 10 year old bump. I had stopped thinking about the bump. Every once in a while I'd run my hand over it and wonder what its plans were. If it was g... read more

Started writing a story that is open-ended on both ends of it. I can write more for the front end, and more for the back end. I can go either direction. The characters are good, so far, and it has potential for development. Like the idea can be stretched out into something more lengthy, with full development of characters and a complete plot.
Don't ask me what I'm going to do yet. I don't know. Like I said, I can go either way, but I like these people, and I think they have depth. That depth... read more

A subway tunnel is a unique space. An underground corridor, built for continual occupancy in transit, made to last through wear and tear, years, underground. The walls are tiled, covered with billboards pointing out the newest film, or coaxing you to eat a different pill for your condition. I walk through these tunnels with an enjoyment that is probably not shared by many. It is the ultimate in between place. The only occupants not temporary, are making use of the high traffic to beg wi... read more

Walking down the concrete sidewalk, surrounded by brick and concrete walls, sun blazing around me reflected heat bouncing into my face. Birds are chirping, making their usual racket. Industrial semi-desolation is the mise en scene, and despite that there are people out taking in their weekends. While walking home I realized I'm in love. Not the sort of love that you grow up with, the kind that comes about as an understanding of faults and accepting of the way things are because I can't ch... read more

Re: need a giant space to rent - got any ideas? (in Oaktown) I live near Bushwick and Flushing.
Not much Italian around here. I don't have much time to eat anyway. Been working on a new screenplay and am always writing new short stories. I wish I could have some time and money to enjoy some of that stuf... read more

Bad Lieutenant - Port of Call (in a movie a day keeps the demons at bay) Herzog directs an amazing sequel to a movie that is so distinct.

Nicolas Cage smoking crack.

Incredible strange scenes of awkward realism and strange twisted intensity. A touch of showgirls in the script that is broken up by Herzog's se... read more

Re: need a giant space to rent - got any ideas? (in Oaktown) Yeah. Living in Brooklyn and loving it. There's a real community out here for me with ambitious people and a constant churn of new-comers with new ideas to help keep things exciting. I do miss throwing parties, but I have other exciting project... read more

Re: need a giant space to rent - got any ideas? (in Oaktown) HAh!

Actually I tend to read most of the posts in this tribe. There isn't much moderating to do so I don't bother.
It's funny, you help throw parties for a few years and you think you got nothing out of it and then someone asks you a questio... read more

Re: need a giant space to rent - got any ideas? (in Oaktown) How big is giant? How many people do you expect?

Are you looking for a place with a bar?

Warehouse space?

Do you need a sound system?

Granted it's possible to throw together an epic party in a few weeks... kind of... but you're a li... read more
