about me
I'm a nursing student who works hard, has a lot of energy to burn, and not enough time to burn it in, heh. I'm studying to be an herbalist. I enjoy being active and healthy, and having fun without the aid of inebriating substances (though I am particularly fond of mead). Hoopdance has become a way of life for me. I am fascinated by trees, the healing arts, and honey bees.

(in The Hoopers' Journal)

Re: My BF loves hooping?!

Hehe Jeremiah and I do "partner hooping"... though it is of the most ridiculous nature... I sit on his shoulders and while he knee hoops, I either shoulder hoop or do beam me ups around both of us. I giggle uncontrollably every time.

Hello friends,
After teaching a great Hoopdance for Beginners workshop this past Saturday, I decided that I simply must spread the hoopbliss as far and wide as I can! So, back by popular demand... Moving Within A Circle: Hoopdance for Be... read more discussion post on Tue, July 15, 2008 - 9:56 AM

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who came to Hoopdance for Beginners on Saturday. It was a blast hooping with you guys, and I hope to have the pleasure of your company again soon! I wanted to drop you all a line and let you know about some upcoming events. Keep an eye out towards the end of the summer for my Fall hoopdance class series through the Mt. Airy Learning Tree (www.mtairylearningtree.org/). This 7-week class series will be held in the Mt. Ai... read more

So, I've spent the past 2.5 hours sitting in the breakroom and working on the design for my next tattoo project. It's going to take years, and it's going be extremely painful (rib tattoos! Ouch!) and expensive but most of all BEAUTIFUL. I've always wanted to go all out Pictish and paint myself up with woad like a Celtic warrior. I've had a suspicion my entire life that in the past I fought naked and wild in tall grasses, wielding a spear with my ... read more
