Happy sunshiney day.

My hoop class on Saturday consisted of only three people, but that didn't surprise me at all given how dreadful the heat was. We still had a good time, and it was pretty thrilling to see one of the students who had been struggling a bit at my first class make some real progress.

I worked all weekend, but in between shifts I had the pleasure of soaking in a hot tub (thanks A&R!), sleeping out on a roof under lovely moonlight, eating ridiculously indulgent brioche french toast with fresh strawberries and vanilla marscapone, and snuggling. I was kept very happy, despite the heat and work and being dead tired for most of the weekend :)

I did a phone interview with the Lansdale Reporter today about hooping, hopefully I came off as somewhat eloquent. The article about my hoop classes in the Chestnut Hill Local should be coming out this week, me thinks... and I'm going to be silly and send a copy to my dad in Israel. Hey, we all have to be proud of ourselves for something, right?

Today I'm working at the Apothecary. Today is likely to be slow because of the heat, so I'll weed the garden, make some teas, and pick some fresh flowers for the kitchen. Tonight I'm gonna hoop in the park and then I'm terribly excited to go to the movies for the first time since October to see "The Dark Knight".

What a feeling, I can completely identify here. Keep it up, I"m sure they're getting more than you may know.
