I would take a bullet for you Chris, in fact, I feel I would be obligated to take that bullet considering how essential you are to the Midwest Psytrance movement. Your devotion and commitment to this powerful music and its surrounding community has definitely proven you to be one of the most true and trust worthy individuals that i have ever encountered in my entire life. You are one of the best friends I have, and the experiences i have shared with you exceed any expections which i originally had before moving to Iowa. Few people I know would die for the cause, but our common goal and relentless commitment have united us as brothers through Psytrance. May your path through life be filled with positive energy! I met Chris 6 years ago. And always thought of him as an exciting & Intellegent Individual. I'm really thankful I was invited on many journeys with him spiritually, magically, and emotionally through out the years. He is a great teacher. Some times a lil'bias only cuz he so strongly believes in his decisions & out look on life. And I respect that... He's also a great friend who makes the time spent intence & silly. I've wittness his strong dreams and desires for producing and mixing dark & hard mind-blowing Psy since the day I met him. I wish him all the luck on his journey... And I'm ever so greatful he introduced me into the rave & goa scene. I was taught well on how to be careful & party hard! The best thing he ever said to me & which I now live my life by day 2 day is, "Experience is neccesary for Evolution". Hope we remain friends forever!

Chris is one of the most influential people to me. He brought me in to the scene and introduced me to great things. I have nothing negative to say about this guy, he has the most energy and drive to support the scene and everything about it. The sets that he has been throwing down have been nothing but flawless and i enjoy his style very much....All i know is that Chris has helped me feel comfortable and helped come out and be myself....thanks for everything you have done for me bro and i can't wait for the good things that ensue.

Chris is the most awesome and fantastic person I have ever met wearing a lab coat. I know anytime I will be around him, he will be dancing till the sun comes up along side of me. A true thinker, and a man full of ideas and ideals, that he not only speaks of but also follows through with.
I am so glad I met him, may I have the good fortune of knowing him for a long time to come.

Man, there is just so much to say about this guy. I have known him since second grade and everything had just been nuts since we met. There was a little point in highschool where we went our separate ways but when I got back from Chicago (college) we were right back hanging out again. I have been to so many parties and festivals with Chris... He is always the first and last on that dance floor just stomping it down. I just love the way he gets into Psy. He has such a heart for the music and the people. He started up DJing under the name Collision and has just been tearing it up. We also started a group called MindOutpsyde and have been throwing parties. We threw the biggest psy party Iowa has ever seen! It was quite great. His motivation has just brought sooo much to the Midwest. He is at every party he can get to and is easily the only person I can trust to just randomly pick up and drive 4 hours just for a single night party.
I could easily go on for hours about this guy. I want to thank him for introducing me into this community and bringing me into electronic music. I'm very honored to be such a close friend to such a great person. Peace Chris!!!

Soon after surging and spawning from an early Serge synthesizer unit, Dean took a shining to the otherworldly sounds of electronics. After being suckered into playing guitar for a progressive rock band French TV and a fun stint with an electric African-style pop band called “Ube” he was drawn towards the industrial tech metal bands. From this a taste for dance music ensued. In 1999 at an excellent camping rave he caught an earshot of psytrance. The "big break" came when in 2001 Deanie Weenie from his "hometown" of Louisville Kentucky moved to New York's Hudson Valley and coupled into the New York City psytrance scene. He eventually hooked up with Deeper in Zen, Mind Warped, and D-Space, and the Machine Elf himself and thus began Soular Records. In the subsequent 5 years the Onnomon project released a number of tracks on Soular compilations, and a full-length album "No Monno" in 2004. The concept behind the music is to let the inspiration dictate the music, not the genre, this inspiration is handed down from the chaos around us. The tribal dance... we dissociate ourselves from our physical boundaries and become everything outside of us, including all that is around us. We have stomped the ground in our own chaotic way within these physical bodies at the same time though, connecting the internal with the external. This creates mass chaos within unity as a whole. With these groundshaking movements we create a universal message, which then forms into a sphere of energy, which we then direct straight into the sky, reaching the clouds above. This message transforms itself to be heard by the sky, which then sends its message back, in the form of life. This is the rain, which falls to greet those that beckon it, those that crave its creation, which is us, which is everything, which is life.

Into the darkened mass we fell, and eventually stopped, along with a vast amount of dissociative thoughts scattered among the leaves of an unknown area. Finally when our thoughts were gathered, we noticed a glow beneath the leaves in front of us. We swept them away to find a map of epic proportions. A map that has been hidden for ages, yet glowed with radiant energy unlike anything we had ever seen. We took the map, wandered back into reality, and raced home to set up a crew to embark on a newfound journey. The Wichdokta began DJing in '96 and formed the FULL CIRCLE COLLECTIVE in Mendo, Nothern Cali. In '97 he began throwing the infamous gathering called "GEMINI" that was held on the majestic Eel River. In '2000 he met up with Dr. Spook and created the loving PHOENIX FAMILY COLLECTIVE. He also runs the sound company FULL CIRCLE PRODUCTIONS. As a promoter and gathering thrower, he knows what gets the people going. The Wichdokta's sets are something of a spectical to witness, his amazing energy and sinister music go hand in hand to give you the ride of your life on the dancefloor. DR. SPOOK
For over 10 years, Nathan Vogel (aka Doctor Spook) has been spearheading the underground North American psytrance movement by touring relentlessly as an international DJ, averaging 50+ shows a year, and by founding the largest USA based psytrance A/V record label and distribution network, GeoMagnetic and Goa Records. Mindstorm is his solo live act where Spook performs a unique set of VJ/DJ material and original music that melt the audio video boarders in new visionary ways using a unique blend of 3D animation and live synchronized FX visuals.
