Sarah Palin Is A Porn Star
A friend of mine in Germany wrote me today and asked why do so many people here still take the candidacy of Sara Palin so seriously? My theory on the subject is this, Sarah Palin is a porn star.

By this is mean, porn stars exist to fulfill a certain fantasy men have about women. So Sarah Palin exists to fulfill certain fantasies on the conservative right. New Nakedcomix Banner Design
Well, it has been awhile since I've created any new art for Nakedcomix. Since May I've been hard at work trying to get things together for doing tattoo shows and selling art as tattoo flash. One of the thing I need to have done was making up a new banner for my display. Here is the final version of the banner design I just finished. The final dimensions will be 4' by 6'. Let me know what you guys think of it. I'll be sending it to the sign maker's tomorrow.

Arrggh! Taking pictures at my cousin's wedding.
At one point I got to learn to stop bringing my camera around if I ever want to get laid. My cousin in Marin County had a beautiful wedding last weekend. Of course my Dad insisted I bring my camera to the event. There were a number of attractive single women around but I was too busy taking pictures to talk to them. Later I spent a good part of the following two days doing post-production on these shots.

another manifesto to save the comics industry
It seems that every once in a while. Some rabid fan boy comes up with a manifesto to save the comics industry from itself. The latest is from Robert Kirkman and Scott Krutz. This one hinges on the subject of freelancing for Marvel and DC Comic vs. doing your own creator owned properties.

A nice moment with a fan
I may not have mentioned this before, but I've been making greeting cards. For the past couple of months I have been putting together a line of greeting cards to sell at A.P.E. (Alternative Press Expo) in November based on my illustrations and photographs. I've been printing two cards a month so the cost of the whole run is spread out over 5 months.

I was born in San Francisco a few weeks before the Cuban Missile Crisis. (I wasn't yet a month old and already in a world of trouble! I was the second child of four kids and thought of by most of my family as the strange but quiet one. After a lackluster career in High School, I went off to Junior College and later enrolled in the Academy of Art College (now the Academy of Art University). While at the Academy, I earned a BFA degree in Illustration.
