By exploring the interface between nature and humanity, I am creating works that celebrate life. With public art I am pursuing the realization of the public imagination by changing a passing moment into something mysterious and beautiful. Through an evolving exploration of materials I am creating hybrid forms that are simultaneously natural and artificial. These sculptures read in a way that is familiar and enigmatic, simple and complex. There is a step beyond self-expression, towards illuminating our physical consciousness.

Salmonberry leaves complete the sculpture. Local food and medicinal plants- all shown in their spring glory - Salmonberry, blue camas, calypso, wapati and fiddleheads.
My latest sculpture is finally lit and planted- it has dynamic LED lighting that changes color and has solar twinklers.
