A rectifying semiconductor device which converts electrical energy into electromagnetic radiation. The wavelength

of the emitted radiation ranges from the near-ultraviolet to the near-infrared, that is, from about 400 to over

1500 nanometers.

Most commercial light-emitting diodes (LEDs), both visible and infrared, are fabricated from III–V

semiconductors. These compounds contain elements such as gallium, indium, and aluminum from

column III (or group 13) of the periodic table, as well as arsenic, phosphorus, and nitrogen from column

V (or group 15) of the periodic table. There are also LED products made of II–VI (or group 12–16)

semiconductors, for example ZnSe and related compounds. Taken together, these semiconductors

possess the proper band-gap energies to produce radiation at all wavelengths of interest. Most of

these compounds have direct band gaps and, as a consequence, are efficient in the conversion of

electrical energy into radiation. With the addition of appropriate chemical impurities, called dopants,

both III–V and II–VI compounds can be made p- or n-type, for the purpose of forming pn junctions.

All modern-day LEDs contain pn junctions. Most of them also have heterostructures, in which the

pn junctions are surrounded by semiconductor materials with larger band-gap energies.

Conventional low-power, visible LEDs are used as solid-state indicator lights in instrument panels,

telephone dials, cameras, appliances, dashboards, and computer terminals, and as light sources for

applications such as traffic signals, changeable message signs, large-area video displays, and automotive

high-power visible LEDs may soon displace present-day technology. Infrared LEDs, when combined in a

hybrid package with solid-state photodetectors, provide a unique electrically isolated optical interface in

electronic circuits. Infrared LEDs are also used in optical-fiber communication systems as a low-cost,

high-reliability alternative to semiconductor lasers.

Josh Tickell is one of the nation's leading experts on alternative fuels. He grew up in Louisiana where members

of his family suffered from diseases linked to pollution from oil refineries. He began to look for alternatives to

petroleum in college, when he discovered biodiesel while working on a farm in the former East Germany .

Fascinated, Tickell started to conduct his own research. He translated documents written by the inventor of the diesel engine,

Rudolf Diesel, and found that the first diesel engine had been designed to run on vegetable oil, not petroleum.


After the publication of his first book, Tickell enrolled in Florida State University 's School of Motion Picture

Television and Recording Arts where he earned his MFA in film. His goal: to direct and produce a major theatrical

documentary motion picture that both chronicles and is a catalyst in the biodiesel and green energy movement.

He had begun shooting footage for the documentary in 1997 during his first Veggie Van trip. (Soon after graduating,

Tickell compiled this original footage into the short film titled The Veggie Van Voyage , now available on DVD).

In 2003, Tickell began working full time on the production of the documentary film tentatively titled 'Fields of Fuel.'

The feature length High Definition film is scheduled to be released sometime in early 2008. The film features

appearances by Woody Harrelson, Larry Hagman, Neil Young and Willie Nelson among other notable celebrities

and cultural icons.


As a precursor to his movie, Tickell release a controversial new book "Biodiesel America - How to Achieve Energy

Security, Free America From Middle-East Oil Dependence and Make Money Growing Fuel." The book challenges

the status quo of the oil industry, the automakers and the government and offers a complete energy roadmap to

wean the US from fossil fuels.

Tickell is widely recognized as the most engaging and inspirational public speaker in his field. He has consulted for

companies and organizations such as National Biodiesel Board, Arizona State House of Representatives, Solar Energy

International, Quicksilver and Clif Bar. He has spoken at numerous colleges and universities including MIT, Ohio

University , Bard College , Vassar College and Colorado College and has presented in including Cuba , Argentina ,

Burma and Australia . His presentations and books have been attributed with starting multiple biodiesel businesses

Another Type of Harvest:

“Those who have faithfully supported many different callings of ministry will begin to be seen producing

the fruit of what they’ve come beside and supported. Evangelists that have had armor-bearers for years

will begin to see their armor-bearers begin to preach and teach the Word of God with true

Apostolic BOLDNESS.”

And give to Your slaves to speak Your word with all BOLDNESS. Acts 4:29

“Administrative scribes who’ve supported apostolic, evangelistic and prophetic ministries for years

have now begun to prophesy the words of the Lord. As truly called Apostolic, gifted ones of Jesus’ Church

begin to embrace the plans and purposes of God, they’ll begin to soon see the fruit of their labors.”

And the Lord added to the church those being saved day by day. Acts 2:47

reach out with My true unfailing Love to the nations. Here are My Son’s seven directions, given to

the eleven disciples that remained with Him before He was taken up into Heaven. Mark 16:15-18.

back to life, (1 Kings 17:19-24) you as My body of the Christ must begin to lay your lives down for

another and begin to decree, Physician heal thyself (BODY [OF CHRIST] HEAL THYSELF).”

And He said to them, “Surely you will speak this parable to Me, Physician, heal yourself.

What things we heard were happening in Capernaum , do also here in your native-place.” Luke 11:23

The True Harvest

“Truly the word of the Lord is to GO into all of the world and preach, but as we read in scripture

its also true that Jesus is concerned about the HARVEST within also, and He needs more laborers for they are few.”

Then He said to his disciples, “The harvest truly is great, but the workers few. Pray then that the

+ Rejoice My faithful ones, for I have many in the land who would gladly give all that I have blessed

them with to support the five-fold ministry. Behold, even as I speak, the ministering spirits are busy

gathering that which you need to carry out My will - in this most critical and glorious hour.

+ Giving is a matter of the heart. The giving and receiving of material things is only the manifestation

of it in the physical realm. For it is the obedience of the heart I desire in each one of My children.


16:13-18 To this parable our Lord added a solemn warning. Ye cannot serve God and the world, so divided

are the two interests. When our Lord spoke thus, the covetous Pharisees treated his instructions with contempt.

But he warned them, that what they contended for as the law, was a wresting of its meaning: this our Lord showed

in a case respecting divorce. There are many covetous sticklers for the forms of godliness, who are the

bitterest enemies to its power, and try to set others against the truth.

Accessing the Heavenlies

The Glorious river of God's life, HIS Glory, is being poured out like no other time.

As we incline upward, our ability to access and see into the Heavenlies becomes a much easier adventure.

Are these viewings because of the times we're living in? Perhaps, but perhaps not. Truly,

ONLY by faith do we have entrance into God's drawing rooms. Here is what Jesus said,

"If you are able to believe, ALL things are possible to those believing." Mark 9:23

Upon approach of the Third Heaven, there are immeasurable access points into the Heavenlies.

In the Spirit of the Living God, there is found infinite arrays of HIS wonderful expression,

and of HIS plans and purposes. As we climb higher in and with the Spirit of God,

we realize our Father has conveniently positioned His solid-rock pillars of revelation

for us to advance into and see His Third Heaven Visionary plans.

Earlier this year, the Spirit of the Lord revealed to me another vision of a purple, majestic stairway,

with golden pillars attached along the edge. The color purple speaks of "God's Majesty"

and the color gold always has spoken to me of "FAITH."

"I advise you to buy from Me gold having been fired by fire, that you may be rich; and white garments,

that you may be clothed, and your shame and nakedness may not be revealed.

And anoint your eyes with eye-salve that you may see." Revelation 3:18

Moses, God's prophet, built an altar at the foot of the mountain. Our Father wants us at His feet in His Presence.

"And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD. And he rose early in the morning,

and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve pillars according to

the twelve tribes of Israel." Exodus 24:4

A Vision of Twelve Pillars

There is a "twelve tribes of Israel" pillar revelation the Spirit of the Lord has given me

through this vision and word. The word of the Lord revealed the names of the twelve tribes of Israel

(Genesis 49) that are upon these golden pillars, leading up the stairway into the Heavenlies.

The purpose of each pillar is to display GODLY CHARACTER and to reveal to us how to be a pillar in

"THE PILLAR" of our communities.

So, ascend within this revelatory vision if you will.

Pillar One: The Releasers. This pillar has the name Reuben upon it.

Reuben convinced his brothers to not kill Joseph his brother and to release him.

"And Reuben heard, and he SAVED him (Joseph) from their hands and said,

'Let us not smite his soul.'" Genesis 37:21

There is a releasing thrust upward at the first pillar. God is looking for a people

that have a ROCK solid revelation, as they've been released by and through the

blood of Lamb and the Word of their testimony, Jesus.

Pillar Two: The Hearers. This pillar has the name Simeon upon it.

"And she (Leah) conceived again and bore a son. And said, 'Surely Jehovah has HEARD that

I am hated and has given this one to me also.' And she called his name Simeon." Genesis 29:33

The name Simeon means "to hear." Perhaps Simeon was hearing from the Spirit of the Lord by

becoming a hostage to get Benjamin released.

God is searching high and low for a remnant people that know it's definitely His Voice that they hear.

Pillar Three: The Adherers. This pillar has the name of Levi upon it--the original forerunning

ancestors of Israel's tribe of priests. "And she (Leah) conceived again and bore a son,

And she said, 'Now, this time, my husband will be JOINED to me, because I have borne to him three sons.

' So his name was called Levi." Genesis 29:34

God is calling out for leaders with an unwavering attachment to His ways.

Pillar Four: The Speakers. This pillar bears the name of Judah, who are the celebrative ones--

the praisers with distinctive preeminent qualities and stature. "...Jacob sent Judah on ahead to TELL

Joseph that they were on the way...to arrive in Goshen...." Genesis 46:28

In this hour, God is calling His praisers out for specific forward advancement.

Pillar Five: The Laborers. This pillar bears the name of Issachar--the hired workers,

calling forth the righteous sacrifices. "She named him Issachar (meaning 'Wages'),

for she said, 'God has repaid me for giving my slave-girl to my husband.'" Genesis 30:18

God is looking for the righteous sacrificer--those who will offer sacrifices Holy and acceptable to Himself.

He is in search of hard-working, committed laborers in His vineyard; laborers unafraid to plow up

the soil of their hearts with His word and Spirit that produces much fruit.

Pillar Six: The Supporters. This pillar embraces the name Zebulun. Because of this tribes

support above and beyond the call of duty, they reaped for themselves a prime location

for super-abundant harvest. "Zebulun shall live at the seashore, and he shall be a haven of ships,

even his border beside Sidon." Genesis 49:13

The Father is wanting us to be obedient to "go and do" at His leading. As we go and as we sow, He supplies ALL.

Pillar Seven: The Interpreters. Pillar seven is adorned with the name Joseph.

Our Father is the God of increase, and with a name that means "God will add sons,"

how can you go wrong? Joseph's prophetic words to his brothers almost got him killed by his own family.

In the face of the enemy, prophetic interpretations got him a promotion. "And, behold, my sheaf

rose up and also stood up. And, behold, your sheaves came around and bowed themselves to my sheaf.

" Genesis 37:7

By God's Spirit, He is sending His visions of grandeur. If we're in position to receive Heavenly

dreams and visions from God, then His skyways have no limits.

Pillar Eight: The Warriors. This pillar bears the name of Benjamin--the men of war.

The body of Christ has been training up warriors for years, for this is the time of divine offensive strategies.

Through this preparatory time, many are now ready for active engagements.

"For we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against

the authorities, against the rulers of this world, of the darkness of this age, against

the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenlies." Ephesians 6:12

We're to be slingers of intercession, slingers of praise, slingers of prayer, and slingers of

the Rock of our Salvation. David was definitely a slinger.

Pillar Nine: The Advancers. This pillar is marked by the name Dan. Embracing Kingdom

advancements amidst opposition and destiny, the tribe of Dan experienced much pressure

and harassment from the Philistines. Samson, "the Danite" pressed-in to the end, and toppled

the pillars that had him bound. "And he (Samson) bowed mightily and the house fell on the rulers." Judges 16:30

As we bow down and call upon the name of the Lord, we are strengthened to do His will. Let us call to

You Lord, to show Your right hand. If we allow him to, our adversary can blind the spiritual destiny

of many of God's best warriors. It's time that we pray for many to be strengthened--that the sweet

vengeance of our Lord be magnified over our lives.

Pillar Ten: The Wrestlers. This pillar is marked with the name Naphtali. The loosed servants of the Lord

are free in Him, freed to do His Will. As we run hard after Him as a deer, exhausted, we approach

His living water for soul and spirit refreshments. We are freedom's friends loosed into eternal

realms to jump and to run in His Glory. "As the deer pants after the channels of water, so my

soul pants after You." Psalm 42:1

Pillar Eleven: The Fortunate Ones. The name of Gad is upon this pillar. We're His favored

ones when we're obedient to consistently move forward in the Lord.

God said, "Every place where the sole of your foot treads shall be yours, from the wilderness and Lebanon,

from the the river, the river Euphrates, even to the uttermost sea shall be your border"

Deuteronomy 11:24. Obedience is going to war for our inheritance. A.W. Tozer said,

"Our inheritance is limitless. That's the whole universe."

What we need today are Holy Spirit downloaded war songs: songs written by saints

tried and tested in the harvest fields; worship songs that speak of Jesus as our Revivalist;

and songs of strategic war, with and by, God's graceful Mighty hands. The tribe of Gad made

this type of music with David and Nathan.

Pillar Twelve: The Highly Favored. This final pillar has the name Asher upon it. This tribe was

the most blessed, for they had the Lord's abundant blessing and happiness overshadowing them.

"Then Zilpah produced a second son, and Leah named him Asher (meaning "Happy"), for she said,

'What joy is mine! The other women will think me blessed indeed!'" Genesis 30:13

God's blessing is our covering day and night. Our receiving ALL His blessings, are based

upon us following the belief system He has set up. The Father wants us all to be good

stewards of what we've been given.

Be A Pillar for the Lord

God is raising up visionary warriors in this hour that are called, appointed, and positioned

for such a time as NOW. God is looking for the rivers of His Word in ALL of the earth.

He's seeking revolutionaries to capture the true heart of His calling, to be called upon.

"Call to Me, and I will answer you and tell you great and mighty things; you do not know them.

" Jeremiah 33:3

Let's decree and pray:

"Lord, we will be pillars for YOU, and let the same Holy Spirit that was upon Anna, Your prophetess,

and Elijah, Your prophet, NOW rise up in YOUR church in the Spirit of our Lord and proclaim,

'This is the acceptable year of our Lord!' Isaiah 61:2."

THE CROSS Luke 14:25 - 33

The Cross stands alone as the most controversial symbol in world history! Without question it has also been---

and IS ABUSED, MISUSED AND WORSHIPPED. Some of the world's greatest abuse has been done in front

of the Cross.

YET the Cross today graces the top of church steeples, hangs in churches and is on the front of most Bibles.

For many Christians the sign of the cross is at birth, baptism, communion, marriage, and death.

Cross carrying never was viewed in the true historical sense 'a pleasure' or in early years 'a work of art'

or an 'object of beauty.' People died horrible, bloody, agonizing, and tortured death on crosses.

It was the symbol of the worst in man. Even most ancient Christian art is full of blood in its scene of

the crucifixion. The art shows suffering and agony and a very ugly picture. Yet the modern cross is cleaned up,

gone is the blood, gone are the swarming flies that would be crawling about on the face of the crucified,

gone is the smell of death and the ring of hammer against nail as it tears through the skin.

Now the cross is gold or silver and perhaps studded with diamonds or emeralds.

In the days of death and Roman torture by the cross people would see one and vomit, look away in disgust

or ridicule it. TODAY we say:

'Oh how lovely'

'How beautiful'

'It looks so nice'

'Where did you buy yours? ''What did it cost?'

All things no first century follower of Jesus would ever utter. Do you see how shallow we've become?

How lost? You don't buy a Cross you carry a Cross Jesus said.

What did it cost? It cost the Father His Son---and the Son---His life for the sins of the world.

What does the Cross cost you? EVERYTHING that is sinful, worldly, fleshly or carnal.

Jesus said 'Should anyone come after me let him deny himself, take up his cross and follow me.'

The true follower of Jesus has forsaken self, has taken up his cross

(instrument of death figuratively to sin and to the world) and is following Jesus.

We can wear a cross and look good but in the heart have you crucified self, taken up your cross

and are you following Jesus? Its the heart God sees and knows.

Many Protestants in smug superiority condemn the Catholics for having the image of Jesus on the cross.

Or a Jesus like a super sports hero who always wins! NO, The real Man Jesus carried a REAL Cross,

shed REAL blood, suffered in a REAL body, and his REAL dead body was taken down and buried in a tomb.

Jesus sweat was like thick drops of blood in the garden the night before He was crucified.

He prayed to the Father "if it is possible let this cup pass from me, nevertheless, not my will but Thy will be done!

" Within hours a scourged, bloody and tortured Jesus is carrying a Cross toward Calvary. No beautiful cross there,

No-one saying 'this cross would look good on you!' Horror of horrors----how could we, even worse how do we?

At that Cross no cheering crowds, no wild adulation, no long ovation of applause ONLY jeers, mockery, curses,

nails, blood and a cross as the Son of God exchanged his life for our lives and died on a tree!

That we may have a right to the tree of life.

SYMBOLS

For many modern people the importance of symbols is almost lost yet the message they can convey is awesome and biblical.

Symbols are very important in the Bible.

In the Garden of Eden God made for Adam and Eve, a covering of skin to cloth them from their nakedness after their sin.

God did the first killing--a life was given! blood was shed! a covering was made-Genesis 3:21!

Abraham, years afterward was told by God to kill his son upon a wooden altar. Just as Abraham was lifting up the knife,

God stopped him and said there is a ram caught in the bush, offer him instead. Again, a life was given, blood was shed,

a covering was made-Genesis Chapter 22!

In Egypt as God was leading Moses to lead the Hebrews out of bondage God had the people kill a lamb, put the blood

over the doorpost, a covering was made to keep the death angel away. Again a life was given, blood was shed,

a covering was made-Exodus Chapter 12!

Still later, in the temple in Jerusalem the high priest as Aaron had done in the Taberbacle, once a year killed a spotless Lamb,

its blood would be sprinkled on the altar, a covering for the sins of the people. Once again a life was given, blood was shed,

a covering was made-Hebrews 9:24!

At Calvary, God offered up His Son Jesus the true passover lamb, His life was given, Jesus' blood was shed,

a covering was made for our sins-Matthew Chapter 27, Hebrews Chapter 9. But not just a covering

JESUS TAKES AWAY THE SIN, JESUS FORGIVES SIN, JESUS CLEANSES FROM SIN, JESUS WASHES AWAY SIN,

HALLELUJAH!
