What can I say about my Dad... Where do I begin? He's the most amazing guy I've ever known. He's open-minded, open-hearted, kind, funny, spunky, resourceful, charming, charismatic, intelligent, and has great integirty. He has a real passion for learning and is always finding lessons in everything. I have so many wonderful memories with my Dad. My friends who meet him are usually impressed, amazed, and a little envyous. I love my Dad a lot and hope to be just like him when I grow up.

about me
I left home at an early age. I had a lot of energy and craved adventure, so I joined the navy. After I got out, I moved around and got real good at Jitter-bug dancing. My and my buddy Pee-wee used to enter these big dance contests and would often win. I soon got into the retail business working for FW Woolworth and working my way up to management. The Company moved me to a small mining town in Arizona where I met the mother of my children and my wife of 23 years. Lily and I had three children, Lily-kay, Susie, and Bobby. I ran my own retail variety store in Miami, AZ for 18 years. Then Lily and I divorced and sold the business. I moved to Phoenix and worked in constuction for a while and taught Karate on the side. I was also very much into my Harley and ran around with a pretty rough crowd for a few years. Fortunately, it didn't take long to realize that life-style was taking me nowhere fast, so I settled down and got a job at a honda dealership where I met my current wife of nearly 20 years. A few years ago, my oldest daughter Lily-kay passed away from breast cancer at the age of 42. I miss her very much, but am happy to know that I will see her again someday. My other two children, Susie and Bobby are grown too and doing very well. Susie lives in Arizona and is an accountant. Bobby lives in Mexico and is a Hypnotherapist and Writer. I am now retired and enjoy spending my time reflecting and writing. I also like to volunteer at the local library and I am currently learning how to program computers. I am 77 years old, healthy, and I love life!

My Dad was eating at a local restaurant, a place where Mom worked. Dad noticed that the top of the Catsup bottle was not clean. He called to Mom asking her to clean it. I do not know he tone of his voice but I was told that Mom started crying. Well that was the being of there courtship. Dad was a very good provider. Always worked as a Welder.

Later when I got older (15) and wanted a car, Dad said I understand son, maybe we can work this out. HOT DOGS, I liked the way this was going. Then... read more
Dad died many years ago at age 43. He was a smoker and enjoyed his drinking. I never thought he was what one would call a heavy drinker but he did enjoy his drink at the end of the day. Dads eating habbits were not good to much fat. And in those days they did not have the technology to combat high blood preasure and the like. I was in the Navy at sea when he passed. I really miss him. He was a good Dad, taught me much.

Bobby loved Sutton Summit. Look for his tree house to follow.
Hey Son, remember this event? I'm sure you'll never forget it. I really like your Idea about singing the song , your version of "Oklahoma" real loud on a tape in a purposely loud and corny version, you could put a nuisance call on hold, set the phone down and play that terrible recording real loud and then just go about what ever your doing. That ought to drve the telamarketer or who ever called insane.
