Me and Ty wandered outside. We heard a voice coming from the hotel that sounded so incredibly perfect. Accompanied by a rhythm that was so masterfully matched we were struck dumb. We tried to get in the hotel, but it had a problem locking when the door closed and no one answered the knock so we were stuck standing, looking up, feeling riveted to the spot by this magical sound.

Later, as the door problem worked itself out and the halls and rooms were full of insane partying, we wandered into a room. A tiny tiny room. not yet full to capacity. We found a niche and planted ourselves as we watched a singer and two musicians set up.
within seconds, it started. That pristine voice. The outrageous instruments.
It was Carletta Sue Kay.
Randy. Danyol, and Mark.

Oh that voice. The range, the twists, the turns.
The instruments, forgive my lack of knowledge on what that was but a cello?small bass? keyboards.
Danyol and Mark are exquisite musicians.

It would be an honor to have these guys, in all their funkily dressed glory to perform in our space.
Look for them.
