NDE's, Dreams and more:

The following are a combination of stories from others as well as some I have experienced and written myself, the ones which are by Cosmic E. are my own writings and experiences. The "Sun of Souls, Souls of Sun" is a dreamland venture I experienced in 1996 which I will never forget as it had a huge impact upon my life.

The larger portion of the stories I have here are "NDE" or near-death experiences from others and while I very much love what life has to offer desiring to live a long and fruitful life, when seeking for spiritual answers I believe near-death experiences can be, in some instances, real spiritual encounters with the other side which are well worth study providing some of the answers to the greater mysteries of life. Because of the insight I believe they can offer I have copied and placed here a few of the NDE accounts I have found on the net which seem fully genuine to me and have also included one NDE story as told to me by my friend Lucinda. I also copied a few pages from one of Deepak's new books for you to find here, hoping he won't mind the infringement in my little blog which if anything I believe could sell a few more books for his publisher.

If you value what can be learned from NDE's please be sure to read the accounting from a woman named Sarah which I think is one of the most awe inspiring spiritual near-death experience reports of its kind I have ever read. I first heard her tell the story during a radio talk show interview and then later was fortunate to find the transcription from that show to post here. For myself, what she has to share is one of if not the most insightful and revealing spiritual NDE experience I've ever found. I also recommend Sawyer's and the Isreal NDE as very impressive accounts to read too.

I had this dream in 1996 at the age of 38, now years later at over the age of 50 I do not know exactly what to think of this experience, but nor do I believe it matters whether imagined or real because I am now able to understand what it is to see the world in a grain of sand, to see wholeness where I could not before. I believe that we are indeed one thing living parallel lives throughout the past, present and future. That we are all One life experimenting with every possible experience we m... read more

In a hospital in Switzerland in 1944, the world-renowned psychiatrist Carl G. Jung, M.D., had a heart attack, then a near-death experience. His vivid encounter with the Light, plus the intensely meaningful insights led Jung to conclude that his experience came from something real and eternal. Subsequently, as he reflected on life after death, Jung recalled the meditating Hindu from his near-death experience and read it as a parable of the archetypal Higher Self, the God-image within. Carl ... read more

I am in Afghanistan near Kabul as I write this and thus the title :)

In my dream last night once again a strong and clear realization came to me that I can never cease to be, you can never cease to be, the self you know yourself as; your conscious awareness. I came to a full understanding and acceptance that our thoughts, that thing we call consciousness which self reflects upon itself and which allows us to know we exist is the thing which never ends and is all the same thing in each of u... read more

If you think orgasm is the pinnacle of sex, think again.

Some people actually supersede the state of climax and reach a state of transcendent sex. Such lovemaking is said to involve a divine force, and is regarded as a path to a higher consciousness. It has been known to change one’s views on sex and spirituality. Yet this mystical, spiritual sexual experience is one of the best kept sex secrets around.

Why isn’t it well-known? Recognized by the likes of Deepak Chopra, such meaningful ... read more

Moshé Zwang author of "The Ultimate Prophecy," a book based on his near-death experience and out-of-body journeys and communications with angels, shares his unusual experiences.

My first encounter with angels was in mid-summer of 1961 when I was 13 and a half years old. It happened during my near-death-experience in a public swimming pool in the city of Ramat Gan, Israel. About a year and a half later, on December 1962 I began with my out-of-body travel at will. Coming from scientific, ath... read more

Years ago I experimented with Salvia divinorum, an entheogen which can induce short lived conscious dreams or visions. I had many common and some wonderfully beautiful visions with Salvia but I discontinued its use about five years ago.

One of the most unusual things which has happened to me from smoking Salvia (except for the visions themselves) was having experienced short lived amnesia which turned out to be a very positive experience. I temporarily lost all memory of my past and who I... read more

Thomas Sawyer's near-death experience is a very interesting study in the process of reincarnation. It is a process he learned during his near-death experience. In 1978, he was an agnostic until his pickup truck fell on him and crushed his chest flat. He was clinically dead for 15 minutes, yet he came back to tell about his strange experience of going through a tunnel, meeting a "light that was God," and being sent back to tell people about death and the unconditional love of God. He has talke... read more

About this time last year I had a terrible personal experience which left me in the worst shock of my life. That night I had a dream which for a few moments followed me into a twilight zone between sleep and waking awareness.

As I was dreaming I became conscious of a flat white plane stretching out in all directions made up of a matrix of hundreds of square cells. As I moved close to one of the cells and looked in I saw a view of two young children piloting a very small boat. There was no ... read more

Last night I had the longest lucid dream experience to date. Usually I wake right up shortly after I realize that I have become fully lucid in a dream due to the excitement of that realization, however last night the dream stretched out to quite a long time. I found myself in a city more beautiful than anything I have seen before, a place that exceedingly rivals any of Maxfield Parrish paintings which I also find awesomely beautiful.. Everything in the dreamscape vision was a work of art, the... read more

Thinking Outside The Brain

Partial of one chapter from the book - manual retype of pages 216 through 236.

IF I DIE and the information contained in my brain survives, does that mean I will survive? Survival means remaining intact at some level--mind, personality, memory, or soul--that is "me." To materialists, when the brain dies, so does the person. Fortunately, over the past two decades some ingenious experiments have raised hope that the mind extends outside the brain, and that t... read more

I had the most incredible dream today, just waking from it ten minutes ago and using my notebook as I am still lying here to enter a portion of what happened.

The place I went to was very beautiful, an artful Egyptian kind of beauty, even the faces and bodies of the beings/people there had that same kind of beauty as if each were a work of art which seemed to almost glow, including some of the beings I saw which were more demonic in appearance than human were also beautiful and had a glow ... read more

A long time ago in the ancient past of 1977 I had stayed up for 72 hours strait while on vacation visiting family 500 miles away from the USCG Group Station in Michigan I had been living and working on while in the military. While visiting family and friends I had stayed awake without sleep for three days and nights strait before having to drive all the way back to the "Soo" (Sault Ste. Marie) on a motorcycle, driving for 500 miles without having slept for so many days was crazy, especially o... read more

I believe we each create our own spiritual homes and that each religion has their spiritual house too which are the places we can go to when we die to be with others of our own ilk, traveling forward from there. Here on earth we have a huge amount of diversity and through this can experience a full range of differences. Different ways of seeing things, religions, professions, beliefs, passions.

It is obvious we can choose our path here on earth from moment to moment in any direction we wa... read more

In August of 1989 I was bicycling home from a volunteer position around 10 p.m. As I was coming up on a light I was hit from behind by a pickup truck traveling @ approx. 50 mph. I and the bike were slammed against the truck. As the driver slammed on the brakes I was catapulted 60 feet through the air to land on the shoulder o... read more

Having read many of McKenna's books and hearing some of his interviews over the years I decided to peek through the doorway to see for myself what he was talking about. When doing so for about five minutes I found myself viewing a scene of unexpected elegance surpassing anything experienced through the use of an entheogen before as the blackness produced by my closed eye lids in a darkened room became an offering of gorgeous brightly glowing crystalline neon light filled jewels. Lovely deep r... read more

I am entering this account from a friend who related her near-death experience which occurred when she was close to 25 years old, 30 plus years ago. Lucinda told me this story three years ago but I didn't get a chance to talk to her again to put it in writing until today. This is the first public offering of her experience.

I found myself in a trance-like dream, dreaming that I was someone else. I was a young kid who had fallen onto a dusty road and got some dirt in his eyes.

My father helped me up and wiped the earth out of my eyes. As he was doing so, this reality, this place, this Earth disappeared, wiped away by his handkerchief. I saw my earthly reality as a dark stained mark on that white cloth in his hand, and it all pulled away from me as he withdrew the cloth and crumpled it up, closing it in his fi... read more

A model of good and evil as relative directions of flow by CE - Christopher Tue, February 14, 2006 - 3:16 AM

A few words first: Good and Evil are usually associated with religious dogmas but I believe the concept is a valid one. There is good action which is clearly constructive and evil action which is clearly destructive but intent must also be taken into account as well as whether that intent was to restrict the free will of another.
