This is a benefit that I'm working on with my friend Dreaming-Bear to ignite compassionate participation within our community... inspiring the world to choose love, despite it all... an offering of support and communion with refugees and victims of war... How can we make a difference in the world? Is protesting the only way? We are blessed to have so much overflowing love and abundance, lets share it with the world by celebrating compassion, love and forgiveness. Quetzalcoatl-The Feathered Serpent

The other night, i was awoken with a strange word in my mind..Quetzalcoatl...at first i couldnt understand what was being said.. how do you pronounce it... i didn't know what it meant.. i asked how to spell it.. i had never heard this word before.. so, it being a modern world and all...i woke up, turned on my computer and googled it.. to my suprise.. this is what i found.. it is so perfect for now and what we are all going through.. i thought i would share this beautiful symbol of the serpant (the earth) and the bird (the heaven) that are united in human form. It is the union of heaven (divine) and earth (human), the divine-human. The Feathered (Precious) Serpent or Plumed-Serpent was known as Quetzalcoatl. As a spiritual teacher, Quetzalcoatl brought to the people the knowledge of the ‘light body’ and the process of symbolic death and re-birth through ritualistic water immersions and was seen as the ‘once and future king’ destined to return when the world was at it's darkest. The word Quetzalcoatl is derived from Quetzal and Coatl - literally Quetzal Serpent. A Quetzal is a brightly plumed tropical bird with brilliant bronze, green and red plumage. Coatl is the sacred snake whose movements mirror the way that Kundalini energy moves up the spinal column awakening the wheels of light that surround each of the major body centers. When this serpentine energy reaches the pituitary gland, the pineal gland and the crown chakra at the top of the head, we become one with the light of the heavens and the dark of the earth. Quetzal is the sacred bird that connects Earthly power with the Heavenly realms of the universe. Together the Quetzal and the Coatl are the creatures that are closest to the earth and heaven as well as representing the sacred balance of female and male. Quetzalcoatl was known as Kukulcan by the Mayas, Viracocha by the Incas and Gukumatz by the Quiche Maya. Each was associated with Venus, the Morning Star. According to Frank Waters in his Mexico Mystique: “Quetzalcoatl was a uniting symbol achieving union of opposites: heaven and earth, morning and evening star, matter and spirit… the transcendental meaning of this great myth is clear. It is an expression of the universal doctrine of sin and redemption, of death and resurrection, the transfiguration of man into god… this myth, in the broadest possible terms, enunciates the principle of all Creation: the incarnation of divine light, purity, and spirituality into gross matter; and then the agonizing redemption of matter by spirituality—the immortal theme of all world religions.” As ‘masters of ecstasy and transcendence,’ shamans from the Americas honored the earth with a cosmology centered on the four powers—the cardinal directions of the compass. This four-fold path to knowledge, power and healing, known as the Medicine Wheel, enabled the shaman to shed the past, face fear, step beyond death and achieve the mastery of vision. Divine Humanity’s four-fold pathway is known as the Feathered Serpent Medicine Wheel. However, there is a fifth direction—the Center—that makes our pathway a Quincunx. This is the path of the Mystic Warrior—the Luminous Warrior. It is here where we face our death and step beyond fear and the uncertainty and doubt that lives within us. Here we are re-born as a Luminous Warrior. This is the realm of Divine Love. • The Hummingbird Path of the North—Mastery of Mind (Detachment). This is where we learn the way of the Ancient Ones by stepping outside of time with the death of ego. We live in the timeless now, in a state of awakening unfettered to the past, to fear, or to death. This is the realm of Peace and Harmony. Hummingbirds are sun angels—messengers of light. As the teacher, we take our message of light (knowledge) to the ones shrouded in darkness (ignorance). • The Eagle/Condor Path of the East—Mastery of Vision (Oneness). There is a prophecy from both North American and South American First Nation people: “When the eagle and the condor fly together, the Age of Peace will manifest.” In the East, the Shaman learns to see with his or her heart. It is here where we see thru the illusion of separateness to the reality of oneness. This is the path of the ‘shining being,’ known in old English as Elf. This is where you become ‘Ollin,’ where your heart becomes your face. • The Center - The Fifth Direction: Feathered Serpent—Divine Human—Sun of God—It is in the East where we discover the gateway that leads into the center of the medicine wheel - the Fifth Direction. With an impeccable spirit, one must enter through this gate and travel to the center. It is only in the center where one may finally accept their mantle—as a child of the stars—an elf, a Sun of God—a Feathered Serpent. THE SERPENT PATH OF THE SOUTH--MASTERY OF RELEASE If you were to ask me what I felt was the single most important spiritual quality to practice, I would reply by saying—forgiveness. It is the light that pierces the darkness of life and dispels the mists of hatred, anger, guilt and resentment. Forgiveness is the wellspring within the heart and is the cornerstone of love and all spiritual practice. And it is the key that unlocks the doorways to peace—peace within and peace on earth. Just think for a while about the number of times in just one day that forgiveness could be given. Now think about the past and what it is that you are still holding onto that could be released through forgiveness. Many times in today’s world, forgiveness, as a quality and as a primary spiritual practice, is misunderstood and misrepresented. Pure and simple, forgiveness from God is a given. However, forgiveness between others and us is not. Each one of us has to do our own forgiveness, which also involves asking for forgiveness from others. This provides the means through which we able to take a long hard look at ourselves, our thoughts, words and actions, and thus make the necessary and appropriate behavioral changes. On the other hand, if an institution, such as a church, does the work for us, there is no real incentive to learn from our mistakes or to change our hurtful and dysfunctional behavior. In down-to-earth terms, forgiveness is one of our divine qualities and allows us to face and eventually let go of what I call, our emotional and mental enemies. Three of these enemies, which attach to our heart and mind, are anger, resentment and guilt. These dissonant emotions, pure and simple, are the chains that bind us and prevent us from being happy. The more that we hold on to these emotions, the stronger the chains become. But freedom is always within reach; freedom is within our heart and mind; freedom is forgiveness. It frees us from the bondage of these emotions and allows us the courage to be fearless. Forgiveness does not condone the wrongdoing of others nor is it about forgetting; it does, however, release us from the emotional prison of the present as well as the past. Forgiveness is transformational. The flow of forgiveness is always circular, returning to its source—and this source is ourselves. If, however, we do not forgive and hold on to our anger and hurt, the energy of our true loving self becomes blocked and hidden in darkness. To keep hurt and anger alive and fresh is to live a life of bitterness and pain. Resentment, anger, and guilt keep us in the painful past, day after day after day. Over time, this can affect our emotional, as well as our physical and spiritual well-being. These emotions also keep us from self-responsibility, by allowing us to blame others for our own unhappy, unfulfilled lives. We might even hold on to our anger to make others feel guilty. But negative practices such as these merely increase our own guilt and emptiness. All of this eventually leads to hate—the hate of others and the hate of ourselves. Only by letting go, by the release of our past and our past woundings, can we dispel this hatred and truly begin to embrace the divine unconditional love that lets us be reborn anew, each and every day. As divine humans we are each responsible for the healing of the past and for accepting, in the present, the power of forgiveness and divine love. To achieve this most powerful way of being, we need to face our own darkness and we need to embrace the light of forgiveness that is within us. By embodying this healing power of forgiveness, we will be able to release the ‘baggage’ that no longer serves us. It takes courage to look within ourselves for the dysfunctional patterns that no longer serve us—patterns that may, in fact, be preventing us from achieving the love, compassion, purity and power that is our soul. Sad to say but many of our negative patterns were established during our childhood and adolescence. Initially an important part of our spiritual work involves healing our relationships with our families. This type of healing process requires change and transformation, which I realize is an uncomfortable thing for most people. But by accepting change and forgiving, we are able to heal and purify our emotions. By facing our past family relationships and woundings, we can achieve an inner healing, which, in turn, will increase our self-esteem and lead us to enhanced interpersonal relationships at all levels. In short, letting go of our woundings that were incurred growing up, not forgetting but forgiving them, allows us to welcome in a life of happiness, love and compassion. As I have often said, “Forgiveness is the power of angelic light that illuminates the way for everything else. Ah, if you want to be illuminated and enlightened, then forgive!”

I just wanted to share some truths that I know to be true for me from my own experience and perhaps it might inspire others to claim your divine light and shine it bright. The world is at a pivotol point of shift... NOW. Uniting our hearts and visions from a place of clarity and truth, we can create a wave that will ripple peace and inspire whatever we believe is possible in this world. Focused intent inspires manifestation in this physical world. What do you choose to create? If you have emotional filters and hooks that get activated without your control, you are creating from a clouded place and may create similar energy karmic patterns or events until you learn your lessons. Make peace with yourself and embrace all of it. A part of you is living in the past trauma. Emotional baggage acts like a clogged artery that keeps us from feeling the grace of god's love and it feels lonely and empty. Emotional wounds that are not dealt with, fester and cloud our vision. Most of these wounds are based in family/tribal patterns that never got dealt with. They were good lessons to learn and its all good, but now its time to move on and create the new! Your only job is to get yourself as clear and functioning as a full circuit as possible. We are energy circuits that need all of our circuits running at full capacity to flow this divine light. When we make peace with ourselves and our family, it will spiral out to our tribe and ultimately the planet and beyond! This is your personal responsibility to the whole. Peace begins within. We are ONE HEART BEAT interconnected.. With clarity and awareness.. life becomes a dance...the universal, god, love, energy is able to flow through you with ease and little resistance... when you are in the flow, you are flowing with God's energy at your back..you are radiating and chanelling... a conduit for this energy in everything you do and with every person you encounter. Even the mundane becomes meaningful when you are in the flow. Surrender and let go of your feelings of being in control. Allow the flow to move through you.TRUST! You will easily manifest your heart's desire, meet the people you need to meet, and be wherever you need to be at exactly the right time ... SYNCHRONICITY IN FULL EFFECT! Miracle on the Highway

Aloha friends, Last night I witnessed a miracle that i felt moved to share with you. I was driving on the highway near Sacramento watching the sunset and listening to some music, lost in my own thoughts. Cars driving on a highway, separate bubbles of life, disconnected from each other.. Suddenly, as i continued straight, the S.U.V.that had been in front of me had a blowout tire as they were heading off the exit. The vehicle swerved, flipped and went off the road right before my eyes. A woman and 2 children were inside the smoking vehicle that was turned over. It was an amazing sight to see all of these complete strangers, with seemingly separate lives all coming together for this event. Several strong men were able to open the door and get the woman out. Her 2 children ( a 6 and 15 year old) were brought out next. Everyone was wearing their seatbelts... badly shaken up, but alive and well. Not one scratch on any of them as the car burned to pieces. The realization that it was all just stuff and really not relevant was profound. They had each other and that was the most important thing. They each had the realization that something had protected them. It wasn't their time to go. I stopped in shock and had a brief thought that maybe i should just mind my business and keep going, but something pulled me out of my world and told me to stay with this family until they were safe. 2 other women and I hugged and held this family. From shock and sadness to laughter and joy.. we shared a timeless moment of true presence and awe at the miracle of life. A moment and everything changes. Race, income status, religion.. none of it mattered. This event brought us the gift of remembering that we are all connected. We are all precious. Here one moment and gone the next. In our own little bubbles of life one moment, next moment crying with strangers in awe of it all. I am sending this out to my family of friends to remind us all that life is precious... you are precious... it could have easily been me or you in the car.. just like that.. have I told you lately how much i love you and how i appreciate your presence in my life? We are all so busy and sometimes it takes something like this to jolt us into rememembering what really matters. I have not been good at staying in touch consistently witht he people i love, so this gives me a reason to reach out and connect. I am grateful for life and the opportunity to witness this miracle. A reminder of how temporary it is to be here and that each moment is truly precious.. thank you for allowing me to share this with you. Love, Nicole

Back to the Bubble... Coming home to Ashland for the Summer!

Aloha! Being in Maui is amazing and it has been so good to be here. I feel like I'll be coming back soon..but, as the whales are heading out for the season, i'm feeling guided to the follow the galactic flow. Being a gypsy is natural to me. I enjoy the mystery. I'm not exactly sure of the specifics.. but, i have a few ideas. New doors opening up. Re-alignment. Integration of divine Mauiness. New seeds to be planted and watered. A little bit of fairy dust here and there. And I'm watching it unfold right before my eyes. I'm in awe of the miracles and the synchrnocity and divine timing for sure. For some strange reason I am being guided back to Ashland for several months. I did grow up in this vortex, so it does hold a special place in my heart and I always is home, and its really good to get out sometimes to remember how much i love it. I'll be living with Lisa and Raquel and their 2 boys (a 3 month temporary situation that just flowed into my life at just the right time) . I'm excited to see my Ashland family and just in time to catch the last bits of spring flowers and green hills... woohoo! My brother is getting married in Vermont in August, so ill be out on the east coast for a little while to meet up with some other friends... and then.. we will see... its all unfolding so magically.. and gracefully and easy.. the more i let go and trust the flow... looking forward to dancing and drumming and camping and communing and merging and loving and playing and being with all of you beautiful reflections out there. I wanted to share these beautiful loving words of wisdom from my friend Susan.... ******************************************************************************************* We promised in a way so solid and committed that the call swayed Universes...and even the Will of God r i p p l e d. "We will stay until the last Being is saved from suffering" In this New Time, the time of allowing sovereignty, how does one let go? How do we unlearn the modalities and methods of saviour, martyr, mentor, etc. that have served us and others so well? How do we seemingly turn our backs as we walk into the Eternal Sun, void of drama and illusory sensations? How do we reconcile in ourselves all those who are still choosing the illusions we interpret as suffering? What does the evolution of Bodhisattva look like? Whether we realize it or not and whether our eyes ever see evidence of it, we have actualized our mission to its fullest. We, as a Collective Soul, chose these lifebodies to take on many, if not all, of the most dense attributes holding humanity in the cemented grid system it has long since endured. The deepest darkest of shadow that was. We dove into the deep end of the pool of mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual afflictions... ON PURPOSE. We murdered, we raped, we avenged, we stole, we jealousied, we hated - we deeply experienced separation and loss in all of its faces and forms. Not only did we walk these att! ributes, we, as a Collective Soul, have also cleared and/or helped others clear them, ultimately forgiving every transgression done unto us or by our own hand. This honey balm of forgiveness clearing and resultant removal of blame opened a multitude of gridlines - blasting density into Light. These pinpoint openings have become humanity's (the Collective Consciousness) trapeze to freedom for those ready to fly; our final curtain call, the final act of love, the liberation from the docudrama, the completion of the Bodhisattva vow. By illumining the pathways, much like the emergency exit signs we see in public places, all souls one by one will decide for themselves by way of free will choice what they will create in their futures. No judgment, no criticism, no blame...no matter of form they choose. We may have thought this particular zero point finish line would look different; holding a stream of vigilance for so long hoping everyone would end up in the bliss line. When the real gift was to give possibility through self-healedness and alloweach soul unit to quantify their own pace, surrendering our own hopeful projections. We knew this final letting go would be hard, but the truth is, it places the ultimate crown upon the sweet head of each Beloved - the crown of unconditional love...our gift of Freedom. Our only task was to answer the call of those who cried out from the trappings of doubt, guilt, shame and all other fear based illusions. Those who just could not find a way out. Those desperately seeking themSelves. The cry of the Collective fragmented Heart to feel whole again. We did it. It is done. New choice is available for ALL. No one has been left behind. The "healing" work is complete. We may continue facilitating or not. If we do it may simply, though powerfully, shift from the angst of need to the joy of discovery! ...a very different vibrational offering. What's left for the Bodhisattva? Perhaps to now open ourselves fully to the last frontier of Shadowville - the dimmed and unseen potential of Joy. I'm talking unbridled, childlike, glistening Joy. Open those gridlines within Self now. Commend ourselves a job well done in the bowels and heaviness of suffering letting go of it in totality. Accept the shift into full blown joyous and abundant Self __expression. Play in the quantum field of limitless Being that creates a smile in every cell, whatever that looks like for you. Choose Now. Let our Being now Create from the unseen, un-illumined Light sha! dow of Self. Continue to Be the Wayshowers we are yet anew, forging expansive mind, delicious experience, and enduring peace. Service is now about unwrapping Us to fully taste the sweet ambrosia of our deepest blossom. We've waited all our lives to share this with one another. Welcome to the party! New Tribe Interaface.. It is Just a Test to See How Well YOU Can Adapt to Change.

These are my thoughts on the matter. I have seen a lot of kvetching and moaning about the changes to Tribe and the new interface and the fact that these people actually want to make some money with the service. I could get on the bandwagon of fighting the system. The man is trying to put us down. I could take on the victim mentality pretty easily. But at what cost? Now I totally agree with the injustice of not being consulted and having the feeling of not having a choice over my experience here. And just having this blah look to deal with. I was not a co-creator of the new design. Nobody asked for my design skills or input into an easy to use interface. Its not like i like the sterile look and the multiple clicks to get places, but im dealing with it. I don't exactly feel the angst and disappointment that some of these Tribe users that have been here from the very beginnings are expressing. This is an open forum and we all have our right to express ourselves. Thats beautiful. But, i have to say I find it ironic actually to see these people that are so hard core on change and relvolution and are here to bring in the new, but they cant deal with a new interface to Tribe? What are you going to do when it all really starts to fall apart? We are the leaders. We can't freak out because of change. Picking up all of your toys and refusing to play is not helping anything. I think we need to learn to adapt and go with the flow. Not follow like mindless robots. Keep voicing your preferences. Keep holding your intentions. Keep expressing yourself. And pick your battles where appropriate. This is a TOOL to connect. Don't get caught up in the tool. This is really a chance to play with connecting on a global level. Look how connected we are. These are training wheels. Its getting to the point that we need to start riding without the training wheels. What if we need to start using our telepathic abilities to connect? What if the internet as we know it is not here anymore? We can't really plan a new culture dependent on an old paradigm can we? We can't really lose our focus because the interface is not right, can we? Perhaps a new website should be started that has a cool interface and does everything we can possibly imagine, can we all agree what that would look like? I dont think so. Coming to concensus is a challenge. Doing this without revenue stream makes it not advantageous to most. I'm not saying that having other options would not be good. And i totally encourage anyone that has the drive to create that. And i am all for keeping the internet Free and as our tool to connect peer to peer, community to community, country to country and so on... I am open to all of the possibilities and just putting my 2 cents in here to say don't get caught up in the details... Change is Good. Change is nature. The only thing consistent is that nothing stays the same. And other cliches.. but really... To dance with chaos and to hold a loving place of peace in your heart is the ultimate goal in my opinion.

This is an excerpt of something i posted on Michael Franti Group, but i wanted to keep it on my page to remind me when i forget. ************************************************************************************* All of us coming together are causing a wave of love to wash over the earth. We are shifting into the reality we seek. We are human crystals.. amplifying the love vibration into the universe. I really trust and know deep in my heart that we are shifting reality with every breath and choice we make within ourselves and with each other. The illusions are cracking and the drama is getting more crazy "out there" it appears.. war, poverty, suffering, greed, hate, lack of connection and more that really makes me depressed and feel hopeless and alone sometimes.. Thats why its more important then ever to keep shining our love and light so bright.. lets love so much it blows it all to (peace)s. A lot of people call me idealistic or a dreamer, but it doesnt disuade my heart's knowing. I do remember who i am and what i am here for.. i signed up.. i agreed to help this shift.. I agreed to experience the seperation and the agony, so i can have compassion and understanding for my fellow humans and i know im not alone. As more of us are waking up or already being born awake a shift of conciousness is inevitable. No one will be left behind. Get yourself in alignment and clear, so you can be an instrument for the divine to flow through. We are divine beings having a human experience. Remember your mission before you came into this body. Don't buy into the lies and fear of mass conciousness. Open your heart. Shine as bright as you want. You are not alone. Let go of your fears. Let go of any old thoughts or conditioning or rules or relationships or behaviors that are not serving you anymore. Now its time to say goodbye. Mourn for them. Cry. Scream. Laugh. Release. Bless them. Surround them with love because they are not bad.. they were here to teach you what you needed to learn! Integrate your lessons. And make room for the NEW! Clean house. Take out the garbarge. Love yourself. Cherish yourself. Nurture yourself. Take care of yourself. Pray for grace. Breathe. Take time to find calmness and peace in your heart in each moment.. even if you forget sometimes, its alright.. we are all here supporting this rEVOLUTION.. just being.. not even doing.. just being LOVE and IN LOVE we are creating each moment.. our thoughts and dreams and visions are so powerful.. we are co-creating and manifesting our dreams as we wake.. conciously co-creating heaven on earth NOW. I'd like to share a little bit about what its like to BE here... So here i am in maui.. i indeed made it back home.. i feel supported and in tune on a whole new level... a feeling of contentment.. wow, i dont think i ever really experienced what that is.. a sense of being more grounded and connected and in alignment..my heart feels open and expanding...i feel like i can breath easy.. i feel like my spirit is being fed...it is so lush and so comforting to be here, its also a lot of energy to align with.. im living on a freakin volcano for gosh sakes in the middle of the ocean.. its pretty funny when you think about it... its intense and amazing...I am so grateful for however long it lasts.. its good to BE here.. its amazing to be alive..it is paradise for me for now.. Not that paradise is all sunsets, rainbows and dolphins all the time..and its not like im all skippy and happy all the time either.. its been a lot of inner reflection and purging and allowing and trusting and knowing and being and doing, a balancing act for sure...but it is indeed all perfect. I'm up, I'm down, and all around.. the line of sanity is fine and its all perception..its intense times and reality is crumbling.. its exciting and challenging to keep perspective, to keep a sense of humor.. to keep going on.. to relate to the world when the illusion of chaos, fear and doom seems like thats all there is... to hold the love and knowing that the illusion has to crumble before the phoenix can rise again... the knowing that we are here to shift the reality and align in spirit..that we are all truly one...to keep the embers stoked, when it feels like the fire has gone out.. when its hard to relate to anyone or anything.. but, somehow.. we know that its just getting to the good part.. hold on just a little longer.. there is a reason to the madness.. i still am holding on..with a half grin most of the time.. what else can i do..as the web of connectedness expands.. and we awaken from the slumber and remember who we are and why we are here.. ahhhhh loooo haaaa... hee heee
