I was reconnected with my soul and compassion when i met Amma, a spirtual guru, humanitarian, and living deity. She took me in her arms as Mother and told me i am hers. Finally, i found home. as a child my mother told me she'd teach me to sleep with my eyes open. i never wanted to sleep. i didnt want to miss anything that might happen, or miss out on the time to do things. i asked her to teach me how and she laughed that i;d believed her. still, i always believed that i could learn how to do that.


when i was 6 i found 4 quarters in the field at recess. i turned them in to the lost and found at the schools front office. at the end of the day they called me in and said it was unclaimed, so they gave me the money. i spent it on lime salt from the ice cream man.

Spent high school with my head in the toilet and a finger in the back of my throat at least three times a day.
that is, after spending an hour in the kitchen eating everything in sight at least three times a day.
~i also spent high school in Theatre plays, Comedysportz improv shows, ASB, and in tons of various unity clubs. There are various reasons i guess to have an eating disorder. Marya Hornbacher wrote an excellent book "wasted" on the subject.

~i eat mostly veggie-tarian now but am not picky. If i were to eat meat, it would have to come from a free range farm where the animals are treated humanely.
